Jin was sitting on his chair while staring at the walls of his cubical. Thoughts of how monotone and boring his everyday life was were starting to flood his mind when suddenly, a certain thought warmed him up slightly.
"Now that I think about it, the new Naruto movie is coming out tonight, getting my ticket as soon as possible is my top priority... I need to see how Sasuke has evolved over the years."
The movie being released that night was none other than 'The Last: Naruto the movie'. The Inevitable final installment of what could be considered as Naruto's story, before Boruto's takeover. Jin had always been a huge fan of the Uchiha clan, his favorite characters all being from this cursed family. So seeing Sasuke in the movie was something he was looking forward to. While thinking about these things, he continued his work.
As soon as his shift ended, he packed away his stuff and headed for the exit.
"Nakamura, come over for a second."
His boss called over from the other side of the office. Jin Suddenly felt his feet go cold, as the thought of running away appeared in his mind before he quickly suppressed it. While walking over, he constantly murmured under his breath.
"It's okay, it's okay... maybe it's just a promotion because I've been working really hard lately..."
With those thoughts, he arrived in front of an overweight man that seemed to be in his late forties. The man looked at him with a smile that was not a smile and started stating the purpose for calling him over.
"So you've been working really hard lately, haven't you Nakamura?"
Jin's eyes lit up when his work ethic had been recognized, and he immediately answered;
"Yes, sir! I have been giving it my all the past few days, thanks for noticing!"
He felt like he was on cloud nine, already thinking of promotion when suddenly, his boss shattered that little dream of his.
"Well, since your work ethic has been so high, I'm sure your workload can be increased without problems. I have a bunch of paperwork that I can't do at the moment because of some personal problems, here, take a look for yourself."
He gestured for him to take the papers while smiling from ear to ear. Jin felt like a bucket of cold water was thrown on his head, and the feeling was excruciatingly bad. While trying hard not to look sad and maintain his pride, Jin took the paperwork and left silently.

Later that day...
After unlocking the door and leaving his belongings on the table, Jin jumped straight Into the sofa and closed his eyes, starting to think. His life was a boring mess, his boss was horrible and he had no one that cared about him since his parents were deceased when he was young. Thinking of them was sad because of the fact he didn't remember anything, not even their voices, which depressed him.
"Sigh...."
After letting out a deep sigh, he stood up and started to make his way towards his desk, where he sat down to work on the paperwork. knowing good and well he would not be able to go watch the premiere for the movie.
But as he put pen to paper, his vision blurred, followed by a white light making an appearance, and he started seeing innumerable flashbacks of his whole life. The good things, along with the bad ones. Never had he been so conscious of what was going on in what seemed like a dream. At least that's what he assumed, although it felt real.
By the end of it, he felt dejected, feeling as if he had watched a really bad slice of life anime with little to no humor or action whatsoever. He knew his life was boring, but he did not think it had reached such an extent.
"Hahahahahaha, in the end, the only good thing in all of this was Naruto, I guess my good old animated friend never let me down... hah, how sad... I wonder what my deceased mother would think of my life, although I don't really remember her at this point."
Everything was black, Jin was floating in what seemed like an empty space. The silence and tranquility, rid of any obligations, made him feel like he did not want to leave. So he just turned off and let himself float.

After what felt like an eternity, an itchy feeling on his forehead woke Jin up. He noticed that he couldn't open his eyes, so he decided to just raise his hand and scratch his forehead.
While raising his arm, he felt some sort of fluid covering his whole body, and he realized he was floating in a comfortable, warm place. After a while of thinking and moving around, he finally came to a conclusion.
"Am I in some sort of capsule? What in the world is going on here? Thank god I am not claustrophobic..."
The more he moved around, the more he realized how weak he was at the moment, which wasn't a very pleasant piece of news to him. So he decided to just fall asleep and wait until something happened since he was incapable of doing or seeing anything for now.
As he fell asleep, voices could be heard on the outside, if he stayed awake for a little bit longer, he maybe could have heard them.
"Hanami, how is your stomach? Do you need anything, my dear?"
A gentle but firm voice made its way to Hanami's ears. This was Inari Uchiha's voice, a respected Anbu captain. He was talking to the love of his life and the mother of his only child, Hanami Uchiha.
Although she was Uchiha, one could tell something was up, because her skin tone was of a darker shade, which wasn't very much seen in the clan. And she seemed to be in a very weak state.
"No thanks honey, and my belly is fine, just now, our baby started kicking for the first time." A tear started to form within her eye, "I can't believe I am going to be a mother, Do you think I'll do it well? What if he grows up badly? What then?"
Inari looked very moved, he hugged his dear wife and said:
"Don't worry Hanami, you will be a great mother, and I am sure that our baby will grow up to be an amazing person in the future."
Hearing what she needed to hear the most at the moment, Hanami fell asleep soundly and Inari soon followed.
