Chapter 12 - Chapter 7

Time passes, the merchant group behind me was about 300 ft from me they were in the process of building the camp.

They finished after some time, about an hour to a half passes and an older man in his late 40s or mid-50s comes and greets me.

He said hello and such, he didn't bother in sticking his nose in my business and just informed me they were merchants traveling selling their cargo and where heading to the city-state of Lepcoro.

They gifted me some alcohol and invited me to enjoy dinner with them, I was reluctant but accepted.

The group consisted of mainly older gentlemen but had young adventurer groups but still had veteran adventure's with them.

It was a lively group we discussed some things, the older men manly avoided asking questions into my personal life but the younger ones did not.

A man about 16 or 17 was working as a guard for this transport in this world the human body grows up faster and you are considered an adult at 15.

He was interested in all that I have seen but he clearly thought I was older than I looked.

The majority of this world was consisted of what you could call babyfaces.

He was an interesting guy but clearly watching him attempting to drink a sip of 'fireball' was one of the funniest things I have seen in this world so far.

He got a bit drunk after a couple of drinks from the alcohol being passed around.

He went on a rant about how he misses his hometown and his childhood friend.

He lived in a village near a river it was mainly hunting and fishing.

I told him about my "hometown", I told him about how much freedom we possessed and how we went to school.

It mainly went in one ear out the other but by the end of the night, he thought I grew up in a rich family.

The fun was coming to an end as the veteran adventures and I noticed something was off.

We were being surrounded by something it wasn't humans but walked on 4 legs.

We thought it was most likely wolves and prepared.

We all got our weapons.

The first wave came and It was a hungry pack of wolves.

The older men formed the vanguard whilst the younger ones formed a rear guard and reinforced our flanks. I took out a machete and decided to avoid exposing my guns.

It was a quick and tiring battle for the older men, but the youngsters just got a taste of victory which comes with becoming cocky.

It was dawn when we all woke after the battle last night.

It was a chilly morning with dew fresh on the grass.

I left a bit early but was still able to say some goodbyes.

I made it down the mountain by noon of the 3rd day.

It was starting to get warmer, but the seasons will play tricks on the unprepared.

It was mainly a grassy plain, it was a comfortable fit.

I rode the motorcycle for a while till I came upon what appeared to be a tribe of nomads they where long-haired shirtless horse riders, might as well call them Dothraki (Game Of Thrones Joke)

I put the bike away and was greeted, they welcomed me to their village.

They were strong and have most likely have been deceived by the "White Man" in the past before. (Native American Early 1600s joke)

I came upon their tribe they lived in a clean society and slept in their homes or so-called tents.

I was greeted by an older lady, she was in her late 60s or even her 80s but I didn't pay much attention to old people in my old world.

She informed me that they where the Nopoe Tribe.

They were warriors at heart but farmers and hunters by day.

She offered me a tent to sleep in for the night, but before that, they offered me to join them in their dinner.

There were mats and one low wooden table witch held food.

They held a pray for the god of the horse.

They conclude and went into the eating, they gave me 2 younger women in their teens to serve me.

It must have been their nature to marry young.

They served meat which it appeared to be some type of coyote in this world.

The meat was decent but appeared they were quite proud of their dairy products.

The milk wine was strong and good, but normal drinkers would most likely throw up on the first sip.

They were great hosts.

They were strong men and women a group I could easily join in and participate in their activities.

They were amazing horse riders they could do a lot on a horse and must be one ferocious calvary.

I said goodbye to the old hag and declined the tent and left after dinner.

Well maybe that was a lie, I maybe got a quick shag with one of those girls in that village.

I rode my motorcycle for most of the night enjoying the clear night sky and enjoying the air hitting my face.

I stopped around 2 am in the morning.

I set up a tent and I can alarm system.

I awoke by noon and walked the remaining mile or so.

There was quite a lot of traffic with carriages and other people.

I made it to the city-state of Lepcoro; since I didn't join any guild and have no country affiliation I couldn't enter the city.

I decided just to use some stealth magic I picked up and climbed up the wall and jumped over.

It was a lively city, there was a lot of traffic including merchants, farmers, street vendors and etc.

I decided to grab some food, I got some food I was unsure of what it was actually it was just all stuck together on one stick.

I went around exploring the city, I bought bread and some other items.

I bought the bread so I could make some makeshift penicillin in case of emergencies as you never know which disease could spread in a medieval world.

I wasn't lacking money but I decided to head to the Mercenary Guild, not the Adventures Guild to make some money.

The Mercenary's Guild was a lot less controlled it had many underground quests such as kidnappings and murders.

I went up to the receptionist, I asked to register.

It was a simple forum only asking for name, age, and class.

I wrote down I was Hunter, 27 years of age and I was a Marshal Artists as CQC isn't know in this world, and I doubt they knew what a Shooter was or Marksman.

I received a card and was explained I was a Novice Mercenary and could only take on small Mercenary requests.

It was quite different from the guild as you take on requests and get rewards and can get ranked up over time but In the Mercenary Guild; You get rated and the higher the rating the more likely you are to be allowed higher-ranking requests.

Recipients satisfied with you can all so give you a recommendation to be promoted.

I went over the board and In the Novice section, we had small merchant caravans looking for guards to take them threw low-level area. We had bodyguard requests for small-time merchants in the city meeting up with other merchants.

It was quite a wide variety.

I decide on this one request that asked for younger mercenary's to come speak to students at the Magic Academy.

I grabbed gave it to the receptionist she told me to come back tomorrow morning to get the details on when to arrive at the school and what to do.

I went and bought myself a room at a mediocre Inn I could use just to go to my space.

I made some coffee and decide on beating my meat.
