The elevator opened, as it reveals a beautiful lady. Even though her clothes is unusual, every human being can't ignore her. They would stare at her and judge her look. It made them stop from what they were doing.
Mandy was on a huge hallway of a restuarant inside the building. She must find the item that they need to retrieve and went back at ease, without being caught by any human beings.
"May I help you milady?"asked by one of human being. It was a waiter of the restaurant. It lead her to a table and gave her a menu.
"Ah, just please give me a glass of water, I need to wait for someone before I'll order." she casually answered. Good thing she knows few things in a proper way to pass time in a restuarant. The waiter gave her a smile and bowed before it leaves. She immediately went back on scanning the place. In her opinion, the item they need was around the place she was right now.
"I was sure, I already got a glimpse of it." she spoke, until her eyes stopped to a stair case. She saw the golden statue of a lady, which was placed on top of the end railing of it. Before the waiter could come back, she went immediately at the stair case. She inspect closely the item which holds a white stone. She looked around before she made her way going upstairs, retrieving the item slowly and hide it inside her pocket. She gracefully made her way upstairs, when she reached the landing, she turned left and make her pace faster reaching a door. She did not think twice when she opened it, and got herself inside.
It take her a moment before she realized the situation inside the room. Inside the cages are the monsters she was with earlier. Around them was a crowd of human beings. Some of them taking pictures, the other trying was to touch their skin with a stick, some were scared to get near them.
"Please stop this already, let us out of here!" one of them complained.
"Why are we even inside of this thing!?" some of them got mad in their situation.
"Its no use we've already failed." some of them gave up.
Mandy was staring at them, she was arguing to herself if she would help. It was like she feels she must do something to help them. Even if she was ignored by them, but looking at their situation, it was not in her mind they deserved to be in that place. She knows very well how it feels, to be treated that way.
"Oh, just great. I just have to save them then leave. Go back to the starting point to pass the item." she said to herself before going to the crowd. She breath in before she place her hands up.
"Ahhhhhhhhh! There's a fire guys! There's a fire! Please find your way out! We're going to be toast!" she shriek, waving her hands up. The crowd was alarmed by her sudden shout, some immediately went out from the room.
"Really? where did it came from?" one asked her.
"Oh, ahm... we saw smokes coming out from the kitchen, so it might be from the kitchen." The person she talked to was the last person who came out. She followed her, and shut the door as the person leaves.
Mandy picked a key which she found carrying by someone earlier. She gave it to them, which accepted by one of them, looking at her strangely.
"Better you unchained that fast. Goodbye." she said, she went out towards the other door and head out.
She just feel her guts to head down since it was where she was suppose to exit the whole building. Until she saw the exit door, she went out in the calm weather. The rain was already gone, which leaves a muddy and wet surroundings. There she saw the proctor they have earlier. She showed a smiling face towards Mandy. As she approached her, she immediately gave the item.
"Congratulation on passing the first exam Mandy." Few minutes later, each creature arrived with the items they have to retrieve. Until she saw the creatures she help earlier, they also got their items of each.
As the whole creature were gathered, the proctor cleared her throat and spoke in a manner of ending the first exam.
"The time is up. This conludes the first exam. You may now all head out.
Grinning widely, as Mandy stares at the paper which says she passed. She did not realized a group of creatures approached her. When she realized it she immediately looked at them and recognized them.
"We would like to thanked you for lending us help, earlier" they bowed, which made Mandy flustered. She was not used to be treated that way just to thank her.
"You don't have to, anyone who would see that would surely do the same." she said to them. But, it looks like they were indeed greatful at her.
"Still we were in debt to you."
"We also want to apologize for the way we treated you."
"Yeah, we shouldn't have talked about you that way."
"We shouldn't have ignored you."
"As you can see, we really make a fuss about it and never consider how you feel."
"Its enough guys, you don't have to tell all of that things to me, I've already know about it. I can't blame you, if you decide to act like that, since I already have a bad impression in the school. The important thing is you guys did great after it, so thumbs up?" she signed a hand gesture, which she was surprised too. They returned her gesture then smiled.
"Ok, bye for now guys. Good luck with the next exam." she stated while waving at them.
She made her way out the long tunnel. She was then greeted by a crowd of creatures as she went out. She saw most of them were happy and jumping. They must have passed the first exam. It was then announced that the students may go back to their respective dorms. Which Mandy gladly heard they say it already.
