The group continued to walk in the pathway as soon as Mandy wakes up, with the help of the torches who lead their way. Even though they carefully make their move, a sudden attack would suddenly come right at them.
Julie tripped and stepped on a tile which triggered arrow to shot at her. Good thing she was agile enough, she quickly step away from the spot. Another came, when Heart hold one of the torch handle to rest, the two sides of the wall starts moving, that made them run as fast as they could until the end of it. It almost got Julie, but Mandy immediately pull her from it. One time they where thrown out in the air and landed on a hard floor, thats when they got few bruises.
Luckily they avoided some of it. It's been hours already when they entered the house, but they could still not find the way out.
"This place is endless."Julie complained and huffing her breath out. She was too exhausted in every traps they encountered.
"At this rate were gonna be exhausted to death. Is this really what this place is? As if there's nothing way out?" Chris stated with worry in their situation.
"I hope we're not gonna be trap here forever." Heart stated as she tried to be careful in her every step.
"Don't give-up guys, we're gonna make it at the end of this." Grace stated to them.
Mandy felt unsettled since the time she woke up, she remebered her past, being inside a tunnel and saw the dead bodies. She knew it was all in the past now, but the memory still lingering in her. She wants to forget all about it but every bit of her past was still in her. Even if she tried in thinking other things and make herself busy in other things, she kept recalling all of it.
Few minutes later, until they reach the end of the pathway. They saw a huge space, illuminated enough to see what's around them. As the group gathered, they noticed different doors in the wall ahead of them.
"Doors?" Julie first stated as they face the doors.
"Are we going to be separated?" Heart asked with worry in her face
"No, we must decide wisely what we should do." Chris stated to her.
"But how can we choose correctly? One of this door might be our way out." Grace stated as she looked around in each doors.
"How can we know if its the right way?" Julie asked Chris in his opinion.
"Guys as you can see there are five doors that we will choose" Chris started to explain. "Its a little odd that we are also five in total, as if this place meant to separate us. We must decide correctly or we might not get out of here all."
"There must be some clue in here." Grace stated
"Hey guys, there's something written in here." Julie tell them as she found a written pavement. They gathered around the pavement. They carefully studied the writtings, it was annancient writting. Good thing, the language was thought to them.
"Take each pathway, one must face the end. Once a door occupied, no one can interfere" They realized immediately what the words meant to them. They indeed have to be separated from there. They looked at each other with worry what might happen if they indeed followed the statement they just read.
"There's no other way guys" Chris gave up on thinking for some way to get out with them.
"But we must try, there might be an exception on it. Plus as you notice these doors are huge. We might gave it a try" Grace stated, she started to gather their hands.
"What are you doing Grace?" Julie asked as she follow what Grace doing.
"Don't let go guys, we will going to choose a door and we all are going to enter it." They all hold their each hand. As soon as they decide a door, they all gathered in front of it.
"Ready yourself now guys, in the count of three we must all enter it." Grace tell them.
"One, two,.... THREE" they all shouted, as grace opened the door and they step their foot inside the door way.
Light blinded them, as soon as all their eyes adjusted, they checked each of them. They immediately let go of their hands as they realized they were holding branches of tree.
"Where are you guys!" each of them shouted, but they could not hear each other.
The place was full of dead trees, and a high ceiling above. For some reason, the place was illuminated with light, coming from above. It was from the holes of the cave, a light coming from the bright moon above the cave. The ceiling was too high and the branches of the tree make the place like an open jungle, perhaps a dead jungle since nothing alive could be seen.
Mandy was walking endlessly, as soon as she realized she was separated to them. She don't know where she should go since the place doesn't show any sign of way out, but she remain walking straight ahead.
"I shouldn't have come, I should not be in this kind of situation." Mandy could not help to grumbled. The place looks identical to her, that doesn't help her to find her way out. She tried to fly above but the branches of trees blocked her way, she could not get out from the jungle.
Few minutes later, she stopped from walking and take a rest. Even though Mandy blamed them for bringing her in the fiestival, she still worry what happened to them right now. She hoped they already got out ahead of her.
As she was about to close her eyes, she heard a snapping sound of a twigs. There's a moving creature coming to her. She observed the surroundings, and noticed the moving shadow far from her. Until it was gone feom her sight, she tried to find it.
Suddenly she felt a chill from her spine, as a creature pounce to her. The creature was too strong and Mandy was still in shock from its sudden attack, that she could only fend herself from the creatures sharp claws and teeth to latch at her. She could only look at its eyes which glows brightly infront of her.
