The dark red sun pulses with a faint glow. But as I calm down the glow starts to fade and the glow around me fades as well. "Wait. what the hell is with the glow around that sun?"
"Huh? Oh, it's reacting to your anger and both supplying you with power as well as absorbing the negative emotion." The voice said in an educated, teaching tone. "Anyway, enough of this, is there anything else you want to know before we start your new job?" the voice sounded excited.
Sighing, solemnly I say "Yes, first why me? Second, what do I actually have to do? And third, where will I be going?"
"Wow, you're adapting faster than I expected. Maybe that's one reason why you. Either way though, I cannot answer your first question as they didn't tell me why they picked you, only something along the lines of 'You were good, so you should be able to live longer'. And that sounds like a load of bullshit to me, but hey I'm just a worker. Now for the second question, it's pretty much tied to the third question. You have to provide adversary and a reason for heroes or good to exist in a newly created world. Basically you have to become the 'evil villain' whether it's small scale or large. For the last question, the first place we're going to is called Tang Dynasty."
Vroom, Woosh.
All I could hear after the voice said Tang Dynasty was the roaring of winds; it sounded like I was in the middle of a tornado. The dark red sun was gone, and I couldn't see anything againt.
The smell of rotten wood and musty fabric fills the air. 'Wait, what is that smell? It is.... It's rotten wood? And old fabric? The wind is gone too. Ugh... Why does my shoulder hurt, and why does everything feel so heavy?'
