Osiris's 2 years of compulsory military service in Singapore has finally ended and he is left with mixed emotions about his experience. He enjoyed the feeling of camaraderie with his platoon's members and loved the thought that he is serving his country. Though he left school with aspirations of becoming a cardio-surgeon he now wants to wholeheartedly serve the army. The only thing that is stopping him is his parent's feelings. His parents had to sacrifice everything for him to go to school as they were one of the few people in Singapore that were having poverty issues. The army's pay isn't that high, causing him to not have the ability to lift his family away from their poverty-stricken state. He walked down the sidewalk while thinking what to do when he suddenly saw a young girl chasing after a kitten on the road. A truck driver who wasn't paying attention to the road was about to crash into the girl. With the military principles drilled in him and his own values driving him, he used his superior physique and sacrificed himself to save the girl; before dying he wished the girl to live a successful and happy life.
*Bang!*
The truck had hit Osiris and he has left the place he called home. Whilst doing this heroic feat a god was on earth to go sightseeing. For the foreign god Earth was an unknown world, due to the god's adventurous spirit he was looking at Earth's current state of affairs and coincidentally saw Osiris's act of self-sacrifice. As the god was impressed with such a human sticking with his moral values when most humans sought benefit over their morals he gave Osiris another chance and took his soul into the realm he looked after.
