Synopsis

Functions of the System

First of all, this novel does have a system, for people who are new to them the functions of them are listed below. If you already know what a system is please skip this auxiliary chapter.

A system contains:

> Stats

> Skills

> Inventory

> Quests

> Shop

1. The stats page will describe the main character's bodily abilities. It will be divided into 8 different categories. They are age, strength, agility/speed, wisdom/intelligence, bloodline, class and the level of the character. The more the character increases his level, the stronger he will get (his stats will rise). The way the character will level up is by either killing/defeating strong people, by completing quests or by cultivating with a given technique, depending on the difficulty of the quest, the strength of the opponent or practicing the cultivation technique the exp given out by the system will be different (when practicing the cultivation technique the exp obtained will be a set amount). There is a specific amount of exp needed to level up the character which will be displayed next to the level. It will also show the body's status. For example, if the character is poisoned then it will show poisoned.

2. The skills page will show the various abilities that the character has. There are 2 main categories of skills; they are combat and non-combat (self-explanatory). Then there are 2 more branches of skills which are active and passive, active skills require mana (magic power) or energy to use and are some kind of attack or action. On the other hand, passive skills are always active, they can have many different uses. For example, "Sword mastery" (basic): gives the user a permanent 2.5% increase in attack damage when using a sword.

3. The inventory page will be used to store any items the user gets in a separate dimension only accessible to the user.

4. The quests page will be used to issue the user quests to complete so that he/she would make some progress and will gain rewards when the quests are finished. They can have various difficulty levels with F being the lowers and A+ being the highest.

5. The shop page will be used to buy items from the system. The currency used is unique and can only be given out by the system. This currency will be obtained by completing quests.

6. There will be some hidden functions that the user will unlock when obtaining or using specific things.
