Nefertiri didn't waste any of the precious time so she went to the tribe with Zidite after she was done with the visit. The Lord was happy enough to joke around about nearly everything. It was a good sign even if he knew what happened to Zero. Being strong for your partner can be tiresome and even destroy someone.
Looking at the gate Nefertiri felt weird as if there was some excitement about this whole situation bubbling inside of her. She was smiling happily humming some tune. Past the gate she wasn't happy with what she saw. This place needed a good purification just like her tribe but she already taught this to the kids so she wasn't worried about doing it again in the future. It would be wonderful if it could rain again. They didn't drive in with the car past the gate so she got time to look around to see how much damage was there. Wasn't this supposed to be the light. It was so weird if she thought about it but it didn't bother her that their tribes were called wrongly in her eyes. It didn't really matter as long as everyone was happy with it.
Her long white dress made her look otherworldly with her violet eyes with blue. She looked as pure as an angel but she could be just the opposite if she wanted. Maybe it wasn't the actions but the thoughts that counted someone as a demon or an angel. She didn't really understand it but she though about it that way. So she was an angel more than anything even if she saw no wrong with killing someone of it means saving the population.
When they got in the village the people were looking at her with interest and awe. Was this person really a living being that one could touch. She looked so otherworldly that some of them were really shook. Nefertiri just looked at the people trying to see their eyes and smiling at everyone softly just like she did in her tribe even if everyone or almost everyone was not so happy about her presence.
Zidite was holding Nefertiris hand squeezing it lightly from time to time. Her heart felt warm with his support. Her eyes were twinkling as if she got starts in them from all this happiness. If she though about something else she could think about the show she's going to put for the Lord of this tribe to see. This is going to be a really interesting day for her. For some purification she was going to wait for the rain and teach the kids here too. Nefertiri was aware that this particular spell was really some sort of fun for them. After her first purification she was feeling really good with herself. It was like she could start over again feeling lighter as if there were no problems in the world.
When Zidite was showing her around the Lord came to her in his own. He didn't look happy or mad he was mostly devoid of emotion so she wasn't polite and took his hand in hers and started to read him. She didn't like anything she saw in him and it made her sad. His mate was gone and he was just existing. It was almost a hundred years so she was pretty sure his mate was going to appear pretty soon. The Lord knew everything about the testing and experimenting but he didn't stop them. His mate was a human and he wasn't old enough to remember the bonding ritual so his mate aged and died eventually. She didn't feel any pity it was a really weird thing to feel and Nefertiri didn't really recall if she even felt something like that in her life.
"I hope this isn't an inconvenience to you." The Lord didn't really know what to say.
"Not at all. The Elders of the tribe should be the ones teaching if the Lord is from a younger generation."
"I guess that after the Elders went to rest with the previous Lord there wasn't really someone to teach us."
"As I sense the Priestesses are not in harmony with the gods blaming them. This is a good way to destruction. Are you aware of this?"
"No." The young Lord wasn't able to look her in the eyes. Her cold stare was like knives piercing through him.
"Let's start." Nefertiri guided Zidite looking through the people that already gathered to look at the situation. The weren't aware of the dangers they were in. "You." She was pointing her finger at Zidites father and called him over. Unsure but happy he went to her holding his mates hand.
Nefertiri touched his forehead when he was already near enough for her to touch him. She started to break the connection he had with Zidites mother. The witch needed to be gone like some bad smelling breath or something.
Both of them felt pain but it was bearable, the woman didn't really know what was happening till she felt that her connection was gone. All of them just knew how to mark their mates it made Nefertiri really sad to see this to watch them make themselves mad.
"So as you all know or maybe not I'm here to teach you all about the old teachings that you all forgot. This is the first thing I'm going to show you. Look as if your life is going to depend on it because actually it does." When she stopped talking she was already instructing them what to do.
