It has been two weeks since that encounter with Ryan Yoshihara.
Even the nickname that I once gave him faded away. I don't even know what to do with him anymore. I mean we didn't have a proper agreement kaya so it's possible that one of us might give up without the other one being aware.
Looks like he left me like a wind.
He didn't texted nor called me for the past 14 days. I'm worried, yes, but Zelle once informed me that Ryan was in their practice and laughing with his team mates.
Who am I kidding?
My words don't matter. Maybe I should stop thinking about him now. We're just strangers with memories. I think it will stay that way. Nothing more.
This is our examination day, the Queens have their own errands to do and especially Katie and Chloe. They tend to be the busiest student in every occasion in school. Including examination day.
I don't know where Zara went these past few days. Seems like she has her own business which is so unlike her.
I'm trying to be busy with studies and for the upcoming Cooking Contest. I'm the representative of our school. Cooking is my passion, oh well, I love baking more.
In the cooking contest, I'm in the dessert category. I'll be competing with the Southernians. I actually don't practice before the actual contest, kung ano magagawa ko sa araw na iyon ay iyon talaga. It all depends on my feelings.
My finished baked product reflects on what will be my emotions in that specific moment. I'm hoping I won't fail. I'm hoping I would not see Ryan in that moment. I would feel disappointments if I will encounter him.
After the cooking contest I heard that the basketball tournament will happen, I'm going to watch of course but I'm hesitating if I would stay until it's the boys' turn to play.
It's 4:30 in the afternoon, I heard na dito magppractice ang lahat ng players, it includes all of them, the Southernians.
It's so cold in here. I'm in our office. Nasa labas ako, wala iyong iba eh, so as the Kings.
"Queen Julie!"
I turned my back when I hear the voice that calls my name.
It was Kevin.
A smile form on my face, "Oh, hello Kevin. You're here. I thought you went home," I said. Kevin is nice, that's why magaan ang feeling ko sa kanya. He's nothing like Ryan. The opposite of Ryan.
He smiled back and combed his hair with his fingers, "Hehe, I want to visit the Kings and Princess Zelle for their practice in basketball, tomorrow's the big game for them. Don't you?"
A sly smile showed when he asked me that, "I'll pass. I have something to do," I lied.
"Oh come on Queen Julie! It's once in a lifetime. Come with me, come on," and he hold my pulse and ran with him.
You know you wanted to cheer them Julie. You know you wanted to watch too.

I sit on the right side bleachers sa baba para mas malapit sa mga players, as usual the left side is occupied by the Southernians.
My eyes roamed around at the left side of the gymnasium and hoping I would saw a glimpse of that perverted casanova.
And then there he is, holding a girl on his left lap. Flirting and giggling with those hands that holds the cheeleader in the back for support and the girl's arms are around Ryan's neck.
What a sight.
"Julie!!!"
Josh came towards me with his so nakakadiri na face dahil ang raming sweat na dumadaloy sa katawan niya.
Gosh.
"Can't you at least brought a towel or something?" I sighed and tumayo na ako palapit sa kanya.
Some times he can be a little immature and pinapabayaan niya lang sarili niya. Palagi kasing bini-baby ng parents kaya sanay na may nag-aalaga sa kanya.
Kinuha ko ang handkerchief ko sa bag and I start to punas his pawis sa forehead.
"Di kaya ng panyo ko ang buong katawan mo na puno ng pawis. You're so careless Josh!"
He just laugh, "Sorry na, I forgot. Ang aga naman kasi ng oras na papasok tayo araw-araw, and wala ako sa mood para mag-prepare sa lahat."
"For sure, di naman ikaw iyong nagpre-prepare sa inyo Josh, don't make it look like you do all of it. You can't fool me, ya' know?"I laughed too.
He messed with my hair with that shy laugh in his face, "O'right you know me. By the way, Mom said she misses you. It's been a month since you visited her. She's disappointed."
I frowned, "Why? I'm just busy and besides I'm preparing myself for the cooking contest and for the exam this day. I will visit her as soon as I'm not busy. I swear," I raise my right hand as a symbol that it is a promise.
Confused when he burst out laughing after I promised him, "I was just joking when I said that she's disappointed, she just miss you. You know how Mom adores you, right?"
A genuine smile on my face lit up, "I know, and I'm so thankful because she does. She's like a family. You're very lucky," I make a shy smile in front of him.
"You know you're a part of our family right? Don't be sad. Your mom doesn't want you to be in sorrow because of her death, you know how she loves that smile of yours, like what your kuya said, right? Smile now," and he cup my cheeks and made me smile.
But the truth is, I'm really longing for a family. The ones that Josh have.
Halos mapatalon kami when we heard a bang, I looked at the other side of the bleachers, it's where the commotion came from, and I even saw Chloe walking towards those area.
I don't know but my eyes start to look for the pervert and I was shocked because sa kanya pala talaga galing ang gulo. The cheerleader that he was flirting with ay nasa sahig at umiiyak and the bench below the bleachers na inuupuan ng mga players ay nasa sahig.
Did he did that to the bench? What happened?
He faced down, its like the aura that he showed me when we're in the dance studio and I'm sure his eyes are pitch black.
Later on, he evacuate the area, where will he be going? Outside the campus? Their tournament is tomorrow, how can he skip practice?!
I ran to chase him and I even heard Josh called my name but I didn't mind, I feel like he's going to be in a big trouble, or so am I.
"Ryan!!!"
I called upon his name, but he didn't even stop walking. I still followed him to wherever he wanted to go, I'm getting kinda scared too.
Mas bumilis pa ang lakad niya para makatakas sakin kaya mas binilisan ko ang lakad ko na halos tumakbo na ako para maabutan siya.
Napunta kami sa isang bulding sa labas ng gymnasium na nasa likod ng magkatabing building na halos mga halaman na ang meron dito.
Kaya mas binilisan ko ang pagtakbo.
"Ryan!"
I shouted when I reached the bottom of his uniform and I tried my very best kahit gusto ko na mag give up because I'm damn tired!
Sa laki ba naman ng school even though dalawang building lang ang agwat ng nilakad ko I'm hardly catching up my breath, paano pa kaya if ikutin ko ang buong school?
His pitch black eyes gaze down on me, lahat ng balahibo ko sa katawan ay tumaas and my legs are trembling.
He cornered me with his arms again. It feels so nostalgic. He's the same Ryan that I talked to in the Dance Studio.
"You know I never fail Julienne. You know I never will," he looked at me in the eyes and it shivers me to even take a look at his pitch black eyes.
My body is trembling and I felt lahat ng balahibo ko ay tumaas, I am confused of what he said about him never fails. I was shocked and I felt the zoo inside my stomach when he cupped my cheeks with his warm hands.
"Let's continue the deal, I beg of you Julienne, meet me at the back of your school tomorrow 6 PM sharp," and he even leaned closer to my ear, "I'll be waiting."
And in a blink of an eye, I was watching his broad shoulders and huge back facing me while walking away.
Yeah, he's right.
He never fails.
He never fails to make feel and think crazy every time I saw him!
