Aylin Lui sat in the waiting room for a few hours but the front desk woman kept saying that Ethan Chance was still not back yet.
The front desk woman was surprised by Aylin Lui's action. It has been a few hours but she is still waiting for her boss.
'How long does this lady plan to stay in the waiting room?'
The front desk woman walked up to Aylin Lui. She smiled and said 'Ma'am, even if you wait here the whole day, our boss won't come see you." She continued "It's better if you leave here."
Aylin Lui didn't take her rude attitude to her. She smiled and said "Alright."
Aylin Lui stood up and walked out of the waiting room.
'Where did this man go? It's been a few hours already but he's not back yet. I had waited here for a long time but he didn't show up yet.'
When Aylin Lui walked out of the waiting room, she took out her phone from her purse.
She dialed Ethan Chance's personal phone number.
The room temperature kept wenting down. The employees were dead scared. None of the employees open their mouths to speak.
Ethan Chance was in a meeting. It has been a few hours but the meeting keeps on going.
"Ring... ring... ring…"
Ethan Chance asked with a cold expression "Who phone is ringing right now. I told you guys not to bring your phone in the meeting room."
Secretary Bin walked up to Ethan Chance "Sir, your phone is ringing."
Ethan Chance took out his phone in his pocket and he was surprised to get a call from his wife.
"Hello?" Ethan Chance said.
"Where are you?" Aylin Lui asked tirely.
"At work." Ethan Chance answered in confusion.
Why did Aylin Lui call to ask him where he is.
"I thought you're out?" Aylin Lui was confused. The front desk woman said Ethan Chance went out and hasn't come back till now. But now he said he's in the company?
"I'm in the lobby right now." Aylin Lui said.
'What? My wife came to visit me?'
"Alright. I'll be right there. Wait a few minutes."
Ethan Chance hung up the call after telling his wife to wait.
The employees were surprised by the change in their boss's attitude. A few minutes ago, he was dead scared, but now he's smiling like nothing happened.
"Meeting End." After Ethan Chance said to his employees, he rushed out of the meeting room.
The employees are looking at each other in confusion.
What makes their boss rush out the meeting room in a hurry like that? Who's calling him?
This is their first time seeing their boss end the important meeting half way and rushed out in a hurry.
"Secretary Bin, do you know who's calling?"
"Of course. Thanks to her, our ass was saved. If not because of her, don't ever think of going home today."
"Is that woman that important to our boss? Now I wonder who she is."
"Don't be too curious." Secretary Bin said.
"Why?"
"Because she belongs to our boss."
"Now I'm more curious about her. Let's go see who she is."
"Yes. Let's go."
The employees rushed out of the meeting room.

Ethan Chance rushed as fast as he could.
When he got out of the elevator, he saw a beautiful woman standing in the lobby waiting for him.
Ethan Chance smiles "Why didn't you go up to my office?"
The front desk lady was dead scared. This is her first time seeing her boss come down himself to pick up a woman.
'Now I'm doom. My boss will fire me for sure.'
"I just reached here. Plus, this is my first time coming here so I don't know the way to your office." Aylin Lui smiled and said gently.
Ethan Chance wrapped his hand on Aylin Lui's waist. He pulled her closer and gave her a quick peek on the cheek.
Aylin Lui was blushing hard.
"What are you doing? Your employees are looking." Aylin Lui said embarrassedly.
"What's wrong with kissing my own wife?" Ethan Chance asked innocently.
The employees were surprised by the gentle side of their boss.
