Finn struggled against the dark shape restraining him, but to no avail. He could hear Angel struggling too in the distance, then she was silent. Finn knew he had to escape, he whipped his body around wildly, his captor grunted in annoyance and snapped Finn's arm back. Finn screamed, he could feel the bone in his arm breaking, then he fell limp to the ground. The captor did not stop, they dragged Finn out of the woods, heaving him like a dead weight.
"Oh this one, he is not so pretty." A man stood in the clearing just outside the woods, he was tall, with blonde hair and a military uniform. Finn could already tell he had bad intentions, the man stepped up to Finn and grabbed his chin with a gloved hand.
"Pity boss has said I have to spare your life, or you would die here." The man smirked at Finn and squished his cheeks together, Finn glared at the man with disgust but didn't say a word.
The van was cold and dark, it smelled like metal and gasoline, Finn was chained against the side. The chains were heavy, they bore down on his injured arm, making Finn wince in pain. There was a metal mesh grate that separated him and the driver, Finn had been trying to spit through one of the holes for a while and he was almost close to succeeding when the van stopped.
He watched the other man in the passenger seat get out and he heard the opening of a gate. Finn tried to look out the window, but the glass was dark, obscuring his view.
Another masked man opened the side of the van, Finn tried to shrink back against the wall, but the man got closer. He brought out a needle and drove it into Finn's skin, Finn moved his arm but the man grabbed it. He gasped out a breath as his skin went numb.
"Ah see, now you are quiet as a mouse." The blonde-haired man had returned, he unchained Finn and hoisted him up, Finn couldn't feel any of his muscles, and so he went limp. The man yanked at one of Finn's arms and watched it flop back down uselessly, then he chuckled.
"you are like tiny infant! How amusing" He turned and strode away, but not before signaling to the men waiting around him. "Take him, put him in a cage, but make sure he goes through inspection first."
Finn could only pray that Angel was safe as the men carried him away.
