Angel grew tired of flying, they had been traveling incessantly for hours, barely stopping to rest, and if she felt restless then she knew Finn must've been exhausted because he was carrying both of them.
She stared down at the exposed land below them, there were little fences and grass and sheep, the building they were coming up to looked kind of familiar to her, Angel gasped.
"FINN STOP," she shouted frantically, Finn halted in the sky, his wings flapping soundlessly to keep them afloat. "what?" He said. Angel pointed below them excitedly
"Finn I know this town, my parents used to take me here when we went camping, this must be Saxondale." She smiled, Finn stared at her questioningly "how can you be so sure?" He said. She rolled her eyes "there is only one town around here famous for burning witches, Finn." She looked sourly back at the building, though it didn't look like much, it was a museum, her parents had taken her there when she was younger, she never forgot the torturous machines that they had on display.
Angel glanced at Finn, he had a questioning look on his face. "What is it?" Angel said softly, Finn returned her gaze "I'm debating whether we do go down there, I mean we do need new supplies and a map...". Angel clasped her hands together in a begging motion "oh please, please can we rest, I haven't eaten in DAYS, and I really think you need a good sleep too."
Finn sighed wearily "Fine, but we can only stay for one night", he tightened his arms around her waist and swooped downwards, but this time Angel wasn't afraid. She focused on Finn, the harsh wind whipped through his hair and his eyes shone, Angel smiled and blushed slightly, she felt that if Finn was with her, then maybe, just maybe, everything would be okay.
