Her eyes were looking right and left as she rose from her seat. She gave Mr Shigeoka an unnatural smile and stared at Lee Changhyuk who was also standing beside her.
'I knew this was a bad idea!!!!!' She tried to appear calm but deep down she really wanted to cry. Of course nothing came out of her mouth as she could only give him an SOS look. All eyes were on them. You could see the height difference between the two. Shizu was not taller than his colar bone.
Lee Changhyuk was playing with the soda can in his hand. He was standing casually and gave her a quick smile. Unbothered, he opened the can then took a sip of the cola. She was about to faint from the stress!
'This is nothing, this is nothing.. I am a zen butterfly...' She was attempting a self hypnotise to calm herself down. BUT, the silence made her go even crazier- she should do something to break this unwanted ice! So she diverted her gaze to Mr Shigeoka and the crowd. A corner of her lips twitched up and formed an awkward smile.
"He is the newest... Member in Le Sucre! His name is.... His name is... Leee..." Shizu then eyed Lee Changhyuk, desperately asking for help.
Lee Changhyuk sucked his lips in. He was struggling to hold his laughter so he refused to meet her gaze and lowered his head. He took another sip of soda. He was clearly amused by her hopeless stunts and that's how Shizu came to a realization.
'You saw this coming, didn't you!!!! That's why you asked me to suggest a name!!!!!?'
Remember that time when Lee Changhyuk went back and forth to do that solo catwalk, flaunting his to-drool-for body? And then he shamelessly asked: 'What will you call this oppa?'
How could a person function properly in the face of THAT? That night, she slapped her own cheek in front of HIM and meditated to cleanse her thoughts before bed.
Changhyuk bite his tongue and said nothing as the milk girl unconciously glared at him. A mischievous grin appeared on his face- He could tell that she was having an endless monologue in her head. Ignoring her glare, he raised his head to throw a polite smile to the party-goers. Most of them were adoring his hotness.
"His name is... He's Leeeeee..." She closed her eyes. That's it. THAT'S IT.
"Lee Yuki. Nice to meet you all. I am half chinese please take care of me hahahaha..." He grabbed her shoulder.
She opened her eyes. Slowly, she nodded her head then forced a laugh as she tried to digest the new information given by her tenant.
"Lee Yuki. Yeah.. Haha.. He's half Chinese. Everyone please say hi to Mr. Lee Yuki. HAHAHAHAA." Cold sweat fell from her temple. She clapped her hands then downed the beer in front of her. The crowd gave a round of applause. The atmosphere in the room went back to lively.
"For Lee Yuki." Changhyuk held up his can then asked for a toast from the milk girl. Shizu took a deep breath to calm her head.
She gave him a toast then whispered to Changhyuk.
"Do you even speak Chinese?"
"My great grandmother was Chinese... I've got this."
Shizu's face turned pale, her jaw dropped down. She knew that he was the most laid back person she ever met. But, really???
"You are not serious, are you? The twins speak fluent Mandarin they used to live in Beijing!!"
Changhyuk laughed her remark off then clapped his hands.
"Ms. Katagiri just told me that tonight, all of the food and drinks will be on Le Sucre. Everyone please have a good time."
"Naaahh.. Ayu will kill me." She said with a big smile on her face but her voice was panicking.
"Not if you use Lee Changhyuk's black card." He spoke softly as he eyed her bag. Shizu raised an eyebrow, so he winked at her.
Shizu turned her body to grab her bag on the couch. She opened the bag abruptly and found Lee Changhyuk's black card inside of it. Her knees went weak and her jaw dropped down low. She got an instant migraine so she massaged the back of her neck.
Not all rich people could own that card. That card had no limit. It could buy anything that money could buy. Only the chosen clients can apply for it. It was a symbol for wealth and power. The monthly fee costed a fortune.
She grabbed his arm then begged.
"Lee Changhyuk, take it back. If I ever lost it, did you realize what people can buy with..."
"What? You want lobster? Anybody else wants lobster? They have the best lobsters in all Tokyo!" He clapped his hands happily as he strode away from Shizu who baffled all alone.
That nonchalant brat naturally mingled with others to order a lot of expensive food.
Shizu was cursing under her breath. She was literally worrying like an idiot and there he was..... Lee Changhyuk, no wonder he was called the Evil Magnae!!!
(Meanwhile in the other table)
"Brother, I don't like that guy."
"Same here, brother. Do you like him Kira-chan?"
"Why don't you like Lee Yuki? He seems cool." Sano asked the twins.
"Isn't he too bright?"
"His eyes I don't particularly like them. Those are the eyes of a King."
"Speaking of his eyes. He has the same eyes like Kira used to. Whenever he looks at Shizu... "
"He's head over heels for her."
"Yep, he is definitely in love with her."
"Where did she find him?"
"Don't you think he looks familiar?"
"I've been telling you that since the beginning!"
"How can beard grow THAT thick in several days!?"
"But, he's a foreigner..."
"You're kidding, right?"
