Chapter 45 - Good Night (2)

"Who's your favorite GreenEast member?" He shamelessly asked.

Shizu took a deep breath and slowly raised her head. Yeah fine! She should just answer him since she knew that Lee Changhyuk wouldn't let her off easily.

She was cursing herself for pretending to be nonchalant about GreenEast in front of him and he caught her in the worst possible way. A complete album collection and a dedicated wall for GreenEast?

She was praising all deities for not letting her hang the GreenEast limited edition T-Shirt on the door. Was it her fault that she remembered Kira mentioning about the mega-stars that hated their fans!?

Gathering every courage in her blood to face the infamous evil-magnae, she answered straight and short.

"Han Ryeowook." The leader's name came out of her mouth. Her gaze lowered as she refused to meet that sharp eyes that always seemed able to read her mind.

Lee Changhyuk squinted his eyes and tilted his head. He leaned that broad shoulder back to the chair then folded his arms on his chest like some kind of detective. "Are you sure he's not another Hitomi Nakamura?"

Her lips parted in helplessness as she raised her gaze to meet his. She really wanted to beg him to stop with the questions but could only give him the 'please spare me already' look. After taking a long sigh- she nodded her head.

"Yes, you can ask my friends."

"Whoa. You have a very bad taste." He made himself clear.

Shizu scoffed as she tried to fight the urge to scold him. She really just met him but to her surprise she felt that she had known this guy for quite awhile and could lecture him for being a brat!

Ok, not that she would literally scold or lecture him, they just met so as a polite kid Shizu wouldn't do it. But you see, she felt that it wouldn't take that long for her to be comfortable enough to scold Lee Changhyuk for being a brat. There were moments where she felt that it was just natural to talk to him.

"I also came here and booked all of your rooms. Do you think I'm creepy?" Lee Changhyuk asked.

Shizu bite her lower lip and her mind started to wander. 'I have done creepier things' she thought, reminiscing those days where she stood faithfully in front Kira's house to wait for him. She shook her head.

"You must have your own reasons right?"

He nodded his head. Shizu fixed her eyes on Lee Changhyuk. Her mind was filled with so many questions, after hesitating for a moment she decided to open her mouth.

"Why did you come here?"

"I'm on holiday and I thought it would be fun to spend it with someone I know." He wanted to say 'you' but again, thought that he should save that for later.

"Don't you have other friends here?"

"I do, but if I see them, the whole world will know that I'm in Japan."

"Well remember this afternoon you almost revealed your identity to a RHK crew?"

Lee Changhyuk looked up and cupped his chin, as if he was trying to remember something that happened long long ago. But of course he remembered it, It was actually a test for Shizu. He wanted to know if the Milk Girl was able to trust him and whether she would keep her mouth shut. And yes, Shizu passed the test.

Passing the test was one thing but that girl... She never looked at him with greed or infatuation.

"Thank God you stopped me." He winked at her.

Shizu really had no words to reply him. She studied that handsome face for awhile then took another deep breath.

With one hand, she pushed the amenities that she prepared to the Star. Ooohhhh, the havoc for finding these things- she was cursing herself.

Lee Changhyuk took the amenities and bowed his head lightly to express his gratitude.

"I'll be staying in my room for the whole day tomorrow. Don't worry I'm fine, I just need my beauty sleep." Lee Changhyuk said.

Shizu nodded, she wanted to know why would he need the whole day to sleep and whether she could help him with lunch and dinner. Well, she always prepared breakfast for the guests, and they normally used her well-equipped kitchen to prepare their own lunch and dinner.

But hey, she was having a day off tomorrow, so she could at least offer him that, right? He looked so sick just now thus as a good host she should help him!

Hmm.. but he did say that 'he'd be staying in his room for the whole day'. That would mean he didn't want to be disturbed, wouldn't it?

Lee Changhyuk slowly leaned himself to the table, rested his chin on one hand and looked at her straight in the eye. He was now used to be stared at by that innocent and hopeful eyes.

That eyes were captivatingly beautiful, they melted into golden rays, circling an eclipse. There was nothing boring about that brown eyes, he could look at it all day. And that cute small nose.. that was rather sharp but dainty, fit that gorgeous face perfectly it made you want to touch it.

Lee Changhyuk lowered his gaze and sat himself straight. He could do this for hours but the milk girl needed to rest, they all needed to rest.

"Oyasuminasai (1) Miruku Chan."

"Good night."

Lee Changhyuk left first and headed to the big room. He leaned his tall figure against the door, pulled his hair back and closed his eyes deeply. After a few moment, he opened his eyes then walked towards the luggage that was located in the other side of the room.

He grabbed some pills and creased his brow as he swallowed the painkiller. He really shouldn't have strained himself.

He could feel the sore sensation in his chest. The pain was stinging his bone but why did his lips keep curling up? The answer was: he felt no misery.

To his surprise, he was feeling butterfly in his stomach, he might as well start singing. Was he going insane? Or was he simply too tired? It was indeed a long day but he didn't regret a single thing. He would do it all over again.

His phone vibrated and it was a message notification from 'Sport Maniac' i.e, Han Ryeowook. He quickly read the message then carefully threw his phone to the bed before inhaling deeply to empty his mind. All he needed was a good night sleep.
