Yui Shidoh walked towards Shizu then looked her in the eye. Those mesmerizing yet domineering eyes tendered as she lowered her head. Slowly she bent her knees and pulled her white satin skirt out. Her movement was swift and elegant as she was gracefully bowing before an imaginary prince.
A minute ago, Yui Shidoh was just an arrogant barbie with some resting bitc'h face but in a blink of an eye you could see her transformed into a delicate princess who popped out of a historical tale. Every moves that she made was refined, her expression was one that could take your breath away. An absolute A-lister, Yui Shidoh knew how to work on her entire body and make a good avail of her surroundings. She could change her expression in a split second and even cry on demand.
Shizu gulped as she was not sure what to say. She was blushing from the overwhelming admiration of the top notch transformation before her eyes. Before her, standing an untouchable beauty that would occupy a weak mind, a subtle warmth that could touch the coldest heart. It made her want to curtsy back in response to her ellegant demeanor.
Yui Shidoh raised her fluttering lashes to meet Shizu's. After giving the warmest respect to the imaginary rightful prince, you could see happiness was beaming out of those satisfied eyes. Before ending that brief yet outstanding act, she gave Shizu unwavered eyes then swore an oath of loyalty. Her voice was loud and clear.
"Long live the King."
Shizu collected herself back as Yui Shidoh handed her a magazine. Still blushing, she bowed her head awkwardly to Yui Shidoh then took the magazine with both hands. The magazine was upside down but her eyes widened as she saw the cover. She turned it then blinked several times while studying the front page. The cover was no other than the 5 figures she once met in person a month ago, in Seoul. This magazine must be selling like crazy.
'BREAKING NEWS: Global Sensation GreenEast Announces the Date for Their Long Awaited Press Conference.'
Shizu immediately opened the magazine and turned the page. Her eyes were screening the whole magazine until she saw the exclusive 10-page article about GreenEast.
She quickly skimmed the pages and found the date of their press conference. They would hold it in one week. The rest of the article was just a brief summary of their journey and dozens of their photographs. She closed the magazine at once and her mind wandered to Lee Changhyuk. He said he would stay for a whole month in her place. Did that mean he would have to leave earlier?
"They're coming back." Yui Shidoh lowered her lashes to admire the 5 figures on the cover magazine.
"How did you know?"
"They have to. We're all waiting." She left no room for discussion.
Shizu said nothing but gave her a forced smile. No one knew whether they'd still continue to work together or disband. Shizu had actually no idea what kind of conflict that made them disappear from the screen for one year. All she knew was they were disputing about their contract. A lot of people were waiting for their return- fans, brands, also fellow stars.
Easteners, the name of GreenEast's massive fandom, were giving heavy pressure to StarLord Entertainment. You could see on their official website that the number of their registered fans were increasing day by day. Not only they were known for their record-breaking numbers, they were also very loyal and blindly gave brutal support to GreenEast. They were Gods in the eye of their fans.
There would be an uproar if they disbanded and there would be a massive celebration if they continued. All eyes were on them, no matter what kind of announcement they made- Lee Changhyuk had to be there.
She still hadn't seen him again since 'check in'. He really did not go out of his room and slept the whole day. She was worried that something happened to him but since he informed her not to disturb him- she shouldn't knock that door, right?
Last night she prepared a meal for Lee Changhyuk and put it in front of his door. She wasn't sure if he was hungry but she knew that apart from breakfast he did not have any meal throughout the day.
That's why last night, she made the Shizu (self-proclaimed) Famous Teriyaki Chicken! The sweet and savoury smell would unquestionably ruin your strict diet. It had crackly and crispy skin. The chicken was sliced and drizzled with sweet, salty, sticky and a little bit spicy teriyaki sauce – it covered all the bases for one of these meals that everyone polished off.
She put the food tray in front of his door and sat herself in front of her door, hoping that he would smell the legendary sauce and come out to take the food. Just what one would do to attract a puppy!
She was waiting and waiting happily while playing with her phone but then her mind wandered to Kira. Wasn't that the same thing she did for Kira? Waiting for him? Yeah she was really good at waiting. That memories turned her mood sour so she picked herself up, then went back to her room.
She was staying up with her lights on until Lee Changhyuk sent her a short message on the RoomBnB app, saying "I'm still alive. Good night Miruku - chan." Only then, she did turn off the light in her room then went to sleep.
This morning before leaving for RHK studio, she quickly prepared breakfast for him then found the dishes all clean and back to their proper drawer. There was a sticky note on the fridge. 'I literally could eat 5 portions of that. Thank you Miruku Chan, I give you 10/10 stars!'
That made her morning.
Yui Shidoh was now humming one of GreenEast's song. She might be blessed with a barbie look and an acting that could win her an Oscar but one could tell immediately that she was not born to sing. A smile appeared on that subtle face. 'What a cute girl!' Shizu thought as she listened to Yui Shidoh's off-key humming.
"Do you like them?" Shizu asked.
"Like? I LOVE them. The true King of the Kings that are suitable for me. Once they announced their decision, I will make sure to have Butterfly Entertainment negotiated with GreenEast to do a collaboration with me." She was determined.
"You've never met them?"
"Shut up. It is easier to meet with my dead dog than to meet with GreenEast. I'm in a bad mood now. Fuc.k off." She bumped Shizu's shoulder as she walked back to her seat.
