It was pouring. Good thing someone left her an umbrella so she could avoid getting wet. Shizu closed the umbrella abruptly as she reached the front door then checked the key that she hid behind the vase. She found the key and collected it back to her pocket. She creased her brow as she entered the house. The house was still dark, meaning no one was there.
Her ankle started aching. 'Did I push myself too hard today?'
She turned on the light then sat herself in the living room. Her gaze fell on the crutches that Ryeowook bought for her. That crutches were supporting her walk for 2 weeks. Now that her ankle started aching, would she need to use them again?
Naah... too many hustle. She just had to be more careful.
She chuckled as a bittersweet memory crossed her mind. That night she took GreenEast youngest member into hiding, he only opened his eyes once and asked her for milk.
"Really? How could you crave for milk when you were dying?" A corner of her lips curled up as she failed to understand him.
"And I even promised that I would buy you some milk. I must be really out of my mind." She continued.
Shizu could hear the rain got even heavier. She wasn't feeling very comfortable with being alone so she took her phone then opened her email.
There was no cancellation email or any request for reschedule.
Should she call the guest? What if they're busy or got stuck in this heavy rain? She opened her RoomBnB app on her phone, pressed the Chat Room and started typing.
'Subject: Hello, is everything ok?
Do you have any problems with your transportation or luggages? Please let me know, I will be here to help you!'
Sent.
The current applications were very advanced, she could type the message in any language and the receiver would get it in their own language.
She was waiting for the reply until she heard the sky rumbling. She took a deep breath then headed to her room. Snuggling in one's bed is always best during thunderstorm.
Creeeaked.
She opened the door to her room then turned the lights on. Her room was not small but not very big. She had a double bed, 2 side tables, a study desk, a cabinet, a big wardrobe, and a full body mirror. You could also see that she liked reading books from the full shelves that was hanged on the wall. Her room was decorated in a modern minimalist design. It represented Shizu who loved a simple life.
Her eyes fell on the bundle of magazines that was on her study desk. She actively bought them for the past month as she was desperately looking for news on GreenEast. She went through the bundle rapidly before throwing herself on the bed.
She turned her head left then glanced at her 'Scrap corner'. The scrap corner was a little part of the wall where she hanged and sticked random stuff. You could see some inspirational quotes and also GreenEast posters.
"Hey, can you tell me if you're ok? How about Lee Changhyuk?"
Rrrrriing!
Her ringtone drove her back to reality. It was Ayu.
Ah, she should have called Ayu as soon as she reached home. She must have been dying to hear the report of the first filming day.
Well, it went well until the Yamada Twins ruined it by telling everyone about her and Kira!
She gathered her courage then picked up the phone. She reported about everything.
"What if RHK terminated the contract because they did not want any scandal?" It wasn't a question. You could hear sadness from her voice.
"Shizu, you did great. Don't worry it'll be alright. This is not your fault. I am sorry for putting you through this. Just call me if anything, ok?" The petite girl assured Shizu.
Shizu thanked her friend then hung up. Ah, She forgot to ask her about the tall person that helped her to move the luggages. Shizu was hesitating whether to call her back or not.
She threw her phone to the other side of the bed then muttered.
"Why do I feel like drinking milk now?"
