"You are right, my name is Lee Changhyuk. Nice to meet you."
"My name is Shizu Katagiri. Nice to meet you too."
He grinned then bowed his head. Ok, a proper greeting, checked! They're friends now!
Shizu bowed her head in return, she couldn't hide her excitement to see him.
"Are you fully recovered now?"
"Yeah, thanks to you."
"Ah, so you know me."
She scratched her head then covered her face with both hands. 'When I open my eyes, will he still be there?'
She removed her hands from her face then brought herself from the sofa to sit on the floor. She looked up to get a closer look on the figure that she would normally only see on TV. She narrowed her eyes. Of course, Lee Changhyuk was still there.
"This is not a dream right?"
Lee Changhyuk lowered his body and sat in front of her. He hugged his long legs and put his chin on his crossed arm- his dark eyes didn't leave hers, not even for a second.
"Only if you wish it is." He lightly said.
She could see a man, the most sought man in the continent, was sitting on the floor and looking at her while tucking his body firmly as if he was afraid to hurt her. As if he was afraid to scare her away.
"Of course not. I am very happy to see you." She nodded her head to assure him.
His lips curved up. Lee Changhyuk's smile was nothing like Kira's angelic smile or the twin's naughty smile. It was a quirky and playful one, as though he could easily toy with you. He was even nicknamed evil-magnae because he was known for the quirky personality among GreenEast. But Shizu did not dislike that smile. For her, he looked like a little boy who was honest about his feeling.
He uncrossed his hands then made himself comfortable by sitting straight. He tilted his head, his eyes were still locked on Shizu's brown ones. A mischievous smile broke out on his face.
"You can never take that back."
She could feel her cheeks reddened but she immediately hide her blushing cheeks with a creased brow and a forced smile. What's with this sudden change of mood? She could sense that something was coming. Did she just get herself into something?
"O.. kay?" She did not seem too sure about it.
Lee Changhyuk chuckled then picked himself up before offering her a hand to get up. He did not seem bothered by Shizu's halfhearted answer. It was good enough for him. Most girls would probably faint or scream hysterically in his presence.
Shizu took his hand then got up. She tidied her dress then pinched her cheeks. Lee Changhyuk raised a brow.
"You're real hahaha." She laughed awkwardly.
He nodded. He could tell that Shizu was nervous but he could accept it. They just became friends! Of course it would take some time to feel comfortable around a stranger like him. Eventhough he didn't really mind seeing her adorable nervous stunts.
"Let's eat, do you like sushi?"
"I do. Wait, I can't." Shizu looked right and left as if she just realized something important.
"Why are you here? Are you with your friends and manager?" She continued.
"I came.. alone." He answered her while looking left and right, following her gaze.
"O... kay, are you here for work? Who else knows that you're here?"
He shook his head.
"Not a soul, apart from my hyungs in Seoul. I'm on holiday. So, better not tell anyone that I'm here." He put his cap and shades on before throwing her another grin. The two accessories might hide some of his features but they could not hide his mischievous wet lips and perfect nose.
Shizu gawked at his devilish smile and immediately diverted her gaze. Too sexy!
Good Lord, she could feel her cheeks were steaming hot. Her lips were left parted but she could not say anything. She closed her mouth and gulped. Collecting herself had never been this hard!
Lee Changhyuk lowered his body as he tried to meet her eyes but she was too embarassed to meet his. 'Act natural, act natural.' She kept repeating that in her head like a mantra. It was not easy for her to act 'normal' in front of THE Lee Changhyuk.
She was too nervous! She was a very friendly girl but could find herself pretty awkward especially when she could not get her thoughts together.
"You are not serious, right?"
Lee Changhyuk stood up straight then shrugged his shoulder.
"Who knows. Why don't we try asking that guy then?" He gestured his chin to a RHK crew who was standing in front of the Café's door then removed his shades.
"Wait." She grabbed his arm to stop him. How could he reveal his identity just like that?
Lee Changhyuk was satisfied with her reaction. He smirked as her eyes met his. He put his shades back on.
"So?"
Shizu cleared her throat then stood up straight.
"I can't eat with you now. I have to go back, it must be all mess in the filming set."
"Then we can order a takeout and eat in the studio. I don't mind."
Her eyes popped open in surprise then she shook her head in panic. What was he thinking? How could she explain about HIM to the rest of the Cheerful Youth? Did he realize that people would kill to see him especially after he disappeared for 1 year from the screen?
She was bullied and almost turned into an omelette for being Kira's ex-girlfriend. And if she ever showed up with Lee Changhyuk.. Yup, she would not make it alive. So nope, with the drama that just happened, she was not sure if she was able to handle another star. And not just any star, but the BIGGEST among them.
"Can you wait? I'll try to be out before 7pm. Are you in a hurry?" She begged him.
"Just ask for an extra badge so that I can eat with you and..."
"So you are in a hurry?"
Lee Changhyuk paused for a moment as he watched the smile on her face faded and slightly turned into a frown. He shook his head.
"Nope."
"Do you mind if you wait until the filming done? I promise I'll be fast. And... I'll buy you milk!"
Lee Changhyuk raised an eyebrow. 'Milk?' One corner of his lips was twitching but he did not say anything. He crossed his arms and shot his eyebrows up.
In the other hand, Shizu understood that Lee Changhyuk was waiting for more explanation from her. She was too nervous but she did not want to miss the chance of having a meal with Lee Changhyuk. Was she asking for too much?
"Do you remember? I... promised that I would buy you milk. So, if you wait for me. I'll buy you... two cans!" She gave him 2 fingers.
There's no way he could say no to her. He chuckled then fixed his cap.
"You got me at two cans. I'll see you later then." He bowed his head lightly and strode away. Just like that.
'Aahh, what should I tell Yoonjae hyung?'
He scratched his head as he saw the airline notification popped for the second time on his phone. But he immediately changed his attention as he scrolled through his contact list and made a phone call.
Shizu bowed her head back then could only watch as Lee Changhyuk's tall figure went further away from her. That's it? He left?
She turned her head to the sofa and found an ointment. Shizu tilted her head and raised a brow.
Was it from Lee Changhyuk? When did he prepare this? How did he know that her ankle was hurting?
