Chapter 15: Lower Gods
As the group of superhumans rejoiced in their victory, Orion turned to his friends, "Thank you again. I couldn't have done this without your help. I hope we can continue to work together in the future."
"Of course," one of them replied. "We'll always have your back."
Suddenly, the ground beneath their feet began to shake. A deafening roar echoed through the air as a massive creature emerged from the nearby mountains. It was a giant, towering over them with massive muscles and glowing red eyes.
The group of superhumans prepared for battle, their powers at the ready. Orion felt his heart race with anticipation. He had faced many opponents in the past, but he had never faced something like this before.
The giant charged towards them, and the battle began. Orion's friends attacked the creature with their powers, but it seemed to have little effect. The giant swatted them away with ease, sending them flying through the air.
Orion realized that they needed a different strategy. He focused his mind, calling upon the power system within him. His eyes glowed with a bright light as he channeled his energy.
He launched himself towards the giant, punching it with a powerful blow. The giant stumbled back, clearly stunned by the attack. Orion continued to pummel the creature with his fists, each blow packing a powerful punch.
As the battle raged on, Orion's friends regrouped and joined him in the fight. Together, they worked as a team, using their combined strength to take down the giant.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the giant fell to the ground, defeated. Orion and his friends cheered in triumph, relieved that the battle was over.
"That was intense," one of his friends said, panting heavily. "I've never faced something like that before."
Orion nodded, his own breathing labored. "Me neither. But we did it. We worked together and won."
As they caught their breath, Orion and his friends discussed their next steps. They knew that there were still many challenges ahead, but they felt more confident now that they had each other.
Suddenly, the ground began to shake again, and another roar echoed through the air. Orion turned to see a group of lower gods approaching, their eyes filled with malice.
"We have to fight them," Orion said, his voice firm.
His friends nodded, preparing themselves for battle once again. The group of lower gods attacked, their powers fierce and deadly. Orion and his friends fought back with all their might, their powers colliding in brilliant bursts of light and energy.
The battle was intense, each side determined to come out on top. Orion felt his own power growing stronger as he channeled the energy within him. He fought with all his strength, refusing to give up.
As the battle reached its climax, Orion and his friends launched a final attack on the lower gods. Their powers combined in a dazzling display of light and energy, overwhelming their opponents.
The lower gods fell to the ground, defeated. Orion and his friends cheered in triumph, relieved that the battle was over.
"That was close," one of his friends said, wiping sweat from his forehead. "I thought we were done for."
Orion smiled, feeling a sense of pride and accomplishment. "We're not done yet. There are still more challenges ahead. But as long as we stick together, we can overcome anything."
His friends nodded, their expressions filled with determination. They knew that they still had a long way to go on their journey, but they also knew that they had each other to rely on.
