He tossed his phone on the bed next to him, and then got up to hit the shower before bed. He was about to open the bathroom door when his phone went off. It was a text. He kept walking, and headed into the bathroom. 'I will check it later.'
After his shower it was now 8:01 at night. He had to get up at 5 am again tomorrow. He collapsed on the bed and let out a sigh. 'Another lonely night without you My Dear.' He lazily picked up his phone to set his alarm. He sat up straight when the name he had just saved in his phone popped up on the screen. 'Why didn't I check it before showering? Now she is probably waiting for my response!'
He quickly re-read the text she sent: [MinYue, thank you for everything. I am sorry I was angry that you bought me such an expensive suit. I will cherish it. See you tomorrow at work. Do you like your coffee black?]
He quickly tapped a response. He was afraid that if he kept her waiting any longer she would think that he was mad at her. [Apology accepted. Black is fine. Good night.] He then pulled up the sheets and prepared to close his eyes for the night. His phone lit up once more.
[Good night MinYue.] After reading those three words he closed his eyes, and had the sweetest of dreams.
Morning came fast for him again, but this time he wasn't mad when his alarm went off. Today he can see her at work, and everyday from now on she will be by his side. He could slowly show her how much he loved her. Someday, she would belong to him. While smiling he felt that his cheeks were sore. He hasn't smiled this much in his whole life. He rubbed his cheek bones, and then climbed out of bed to get dressed for the day.
When he went to S label last night he also bought himself a few new suits. Some of the dress shirts he bought even had colors he would never dream of owning, purples, bright blues, and even red. He looked at his growing wardrobe. 'I may need a bigger hotel room, that dam contractor needs to hurry up. I want my place back!'
Cera got up at 4:30 in the morning, she wanted to get to work before MinYue. She knew that David, the old assistant always arrived before MinYue. She wanted to follow in David's footsteps so MinYue wouldn't be forced to change his habits. She quickly got dressed, tied her hair up in a sloppy bun, and headed out. She stopped at the coffee shop at 5, ordered two large black coffees and breakfast for two. She then walked quickly across the street and into the lobby. The only person there was the security guard. He looked at her with a smile, "Good morning Miss." he tipped his hat, "May I see your employee badge?"
"Good morning Sir, here you go." Cera pulled out her badge from her pocket and showed it to the guard. He was slightly shocked at her job title. Cera caught it, and flashed him a smile while taking her badge back form him. She then continued on her way towards the elevator door.
MinYue finished getting dressed, and shoved his wallet into his back pocket, then his room key into the front left pocket. He returned the new room key to the lady at the desk last night. He wanted to hang onto the slightly faded room key that Cera had in her possession. He grabbed his car keys off the dresser, and headed out the door.
15 minutes later he pulled into the parking garage on the backside of the building. He parked in his spot, and made his way into the lobby from the entry way that was connected the building. He spotted the security guard.
"Good morning Sir, your new assistant is already here. She seems eager to work." the security guard said as he tipped his hat to MinYue.
"Mmmh, Good morning Matt. How's the little one?"
"He's great! He just started walking yesterday. Susan and I were thrilled!"
"He's growing up fast. When Lucy comes in at 6 you can head out for the day."
"Thank you Sir!" Matt bowed deeply after hearing that from his boss. MinYue then headed to the elevators.
When the elevator arrived on the 8th floor the smell of eggs and sausage filled his nose. His stomach growled as he made his way through the empty office floor. He then took the corner to Cera's office. She had the door open, and her back was to him. He was very tempted to sneak up behind her and wrap his arms around her. He took two steps in, when Cera turned around to greet him, "Good morning MinYue! Hope you're hungry. I kept it warm until you got here. I will go fetch it from the kitchen."
"Mmmh." he wished she hadn't turned around. He then proceeded to make his way to his office as Cera was leaving towards the kitchenette. As he was about to sit down he noticed that she had already sorted the paperwork that was turned in last night. They were labeled by importance. He was impressed with her work already, but he was about to get his mind blown when he sat down to check his emails. All the spam mail was already taken care of, the trash was emptied, and there was an email sent with the meeting notes to everyone. She even highlighted key points.
