Before Cera could even blink, Friday evening came rolling in like a thunderstorm. "Cera, my dear. Are you ready for this?" her manager Jeremy asked as he was leaning on the other side of the door of an empty office Cera was currently using as a dressing room. When Cera didn't respond Jeremy knocked on the door, "Cera? I am coming in." He then opened the door to see Cera in a tight one-piece dress suit in black that had a single pale blue pinstripe down the right side of the dress. It had a matching blazer with pale blue at the ends on the quarter sleeve. She had her hair slightly curled, and it was flowing elegantly, landing on her shoulders. Jeremy was in complete awe. "Cera, you look stunning. Where did you get that suit? It looks like it was made for you." He walked around her several times nodding in approval. "Seriously, this had to be custom made. There is no doubt about this. Now come on, spills the beans hun?"
Cera laughed at her manager. "I don't think this is custom made Jeremy. The company just gave it to me for the shoot. Ask MinYue."
Jeremy wanted to prove it to her. "Sweetie, take off the blazer, and let me see!" Cera sighed, and then took off her jacket, and handed it to him. She was shocked when he screamed with joy, "Cera! I told you. This was made by Coal Demmings! The number one designer in the whole world! Honey, you said Mr. Park gave you this? Girl, He has it bad for you! I am so jealous!" He spun around in circles while clutching the beautifully seemed piece of clothing as if it was gold.
Cera stood there repeating the words Jeremy just spoke 'He has it bad for you! He has it bad for you!' The more she repeated it in her head the more it made sense. 'What boss buys his assistant a 4 digit suit set, arranges movers for her, buys her lunch all the time, and now had a custom made dress and matching blazer made for Just His Assistant!' She didn't even react when Jeremy was waving the jacket in front of her, "Hello? Anyone there? If you won't take it, I will keep it!" Jeremy then smiled at his adorable little kitten before him, "Cera, oh Cera? Did you seriously just realize that your boss loves you?"
When she heard him this time she jolted back to reality. She quickly grabbed the blazer from him, and wrapped it around her arm. Jeremy was all smiles as he watched her get flustered. Cera tried her best to calm her nerves. "We need to shoot the commercial first. No time to talk nonsense!" She then stormed out of the office, and made her way to her office. She noticed a few tech guys setting up the new computer system at her desk. They had just removed the old monitor, and placed this small black circle in the center of her desk.
One of the tech guys stood up when he noticed her, "Ms. Lu are you ready for a quick run down on how this works?"
"Sure, let's get started."
After she was told how the small black circle projects the images like a screen in mid air, and that the keyboard, and the mouse still operate the same way, she was confident on how to operated it. The Tech guy still insisted on having her demonstrate to the whole group of people that she could. So with a few quick clicks of the mouse, and a few taps on the keyboard she had successfully sent an email to Daniel.
"See. No problem."
The tech guy was finally satisfied, so he stepped back to his position behind the scenes. The director and Daniel walked up to her, and explained the commercial to her. She nodded, and since they just witnessed how she handled the new equipment, they didn't bother to have her act it out before shooting. Cera then made her way to the end of the hall by the cube farm. Everyone that was scheduled that day were watching her. She simply put on her work face, slipped on the blazer, and was ready to go. Jeremy neatly fluffed her hair around her collar, and then stepped out of view.
