After having leapt into the portal, Joseph found himself seemingly trapped inside a spatial tunnel. As he moved his head left and then right, Joseph could vaguely see bright lights flashing through other spatial tunnels leading to unknown worlds, he did try to move his arms and legs every now and then out of habit but none moved.
To Joseph, this travelling seemed to last so long he lost track of how long he had been inside, after what he assumed was 5 days, the other spatial tunnels had longed diverged and so he was by himself left to think and contemplate on what his moved should be when he is reborn.
As far as he was aware and remembered from the light novels he had read involving reincarnation in other worlds on earth, they are came about the soul inhabiting the body of some one who had recently died and most often they too were trash in every aspect from talent to social standing in each of their societies or even within their families. With this thought in mind Joseph was already preparing for the worst, one of the first things he would have to do would be to sort out the memories of his previous body and start taking precautions, thankfully he had a System.
While on this train of thought, Joseph started wondering if the body he was to inhabit was trash, would then his ability [Merchant Golden Touch] could work on turning the trash body into a treasure body if he could that would be something to look forwards to, it would certainly save on allot of time and experience on his part. Thinking about his ability Joseph started to think it's certainly quite a cheat ability he would ask the System directly but it seemed ever since he got inside the spatial tunnel the System had been sealed and was not able to access it in any way.

Suddenly a bright white light forced the sleeping Joseph, to wake up in a startled manner. - "What's happening, why's that light so bright? Is that the end of the tunnel? Am I about to arrive?" - All these questions ran through Joseph's mind at light speed, and an excitement was visible on his face as his a new life, a new future was about to start.
As he got closer and closer the bright white light was growing in sharpness, Joseph tried to close his eyes, but the light seemed to penetrate through his eyes to burn and scour through the very depths of soul. As Joseph passed through the white light he suddenly felt a cold air about him trying to pierce through his skin and this pain made Joseph to cry out in pain. - "Waaah, Waaah" - The cry resounded around the room.
When Joseph heard the cry at first he was confused, who was crying? Who would have left a baby near where he was reborn? "Wait a minute is that me crying?" - Joseph yelped as reality started to dawn on him, he was the baby and the reason why was crying was the pain he felt when he came out of the spatial tunnel.
While Joseph was still crying because of the mild pain he felt, the other people in the room were also crying out in happiness that a baby boy was just born healthy and from his cries, he sounded as healthy as a young dragon going on a rampage when his first prey escapes. A young lady in her early 30's could be seen on the bed, tired, oh so very tired but a trace of satisfaction and happiness could be seen on her face as she entered a deep sleep.
The other members of the family left the room to the sleeping mother, and the soon sleeping baby boy while the were left in a quiet room.
