Ra enters the room in which sanjana is resting.
"I won't let the man escape, who did this. I won't let any harm come to her, you don't worry." Sam said seeing Ra concerned.
"Sam you need to know something, white witch since the beginning of time has were responsible for maintaining the balance of the nature, each witch gives birth to her next generation, passing down the responsibilities to the next generation." Ra said.
"Why are you telling me all this right now?" Sam doesn't understand a word coming out of Ra's mouth.
"Sam, Sanjana is pregnant with two girl child, I think one of your daughters will not make it." Ra says this at once.
Sam in anger chokes Ra, by pinning him to the near by wall, Ra could easily over power Sam, but he understood the pain Sam felt when he said that only one of his child will make it.
"I won't let anything happen to my daughters." Sam left Ra's neck, who holding his neck was still coughing.
'Each white witch gives birth to a wizard and a witch, your one of the daughter will be witch, but their is no need for other witch to maintain the balance. So.." Ra tried to continue.
"So.. so my other daughter will not make it, I will make sure nothing happens to my daughters." Sam said looking at sanjana," does sanjana knows about this?"
"Yes she does, and she has accepted this fact." Ra said.
"How could she be so calm?" Sam looked at her face which was peacefuy resting.
"Because their is more to this." Ra replied.
"What could be worse then this, you are saying my one daughter will not make it!" Sam said in a depressing tone.
"I survived all this years, because of my sister, because she hadn't completed her duty of giving next generation of white witch to maintain balance, now that she is going to have a daughter, after her son our powers will fade off, and we will be vulnerable. You might have noticed that Sanjana's power have started to fade, since she got pregnant." Ra said.
"That doesn't mean, that you are gonna die, right?" Sam asked.
"No that doesn't mean we will straight die, but the powers which were protecting us from death, will be no longer ours." Ra tried to explain.
"That means if I don't have a son, then you and sanjana will have your powers and then nothing will happen to her, right?" Sam trying to find a loophole in the condition asked.
"Yes, it might happen. But since she got pregnant, I think it will be possible that soon our reign as the white witches is coming to an end." Ra said looking at sanjana.
"No, no, no, no, I spend an eternity waiting for her and all I get is this few years!" Sam kicked the wall boring a hole in it.
"Sam!" Ra tried to pacify Sam but the news was too overwhelming for him.
"It would have been better if we stayed in our time, Nef giving birth to my child, and then the circle of life would pass down the kingdom to our children and your powers to them, I messed everything up!" Sam cried.
"We can't control anything now, since the day Nef died, their was always a plan of nature to bring us to this day." Ra tried to be as sympathetic to Sam as he could.
"You know right now, all this feels like torture, I should have died long ago, with my Nef on that day itself." Sam said.
"Sam, the only thing we could do is to make as much time as we get. We don't know what future will have for us." Ra consoled Sam.
Fews days after the whole poisoning incident, when sanjana had recovered, all of her family members left for India, Sanjana's mother insisted on staying till the baby arrives, but Sam convinced her that he would let her stay with her grandchildren once they arrive, and right now it was of no use to get all worked up.
Meanwhile, Sam was afraid as how the event of sanjana's pregnancy will turnout, and he didn't wanted his mother in law to be scared for her entire life, by showing something weird.
Sanjana had turned into a food monster, her weird cravings at night and Sam suffered from it the most.
Sanjana was sitting in her room, scrolling at the screen of her iPad.
Sam came from behind and Hugged her," what are you doing, my love?"
He saw in the screen and found that sanjana was looking for baby names.
"You are deciding the baby names without me! How mean sanjana!" Sam made a face like a kid who is annoyed.
"Hey! I was just seeing the option, haven't decided anything yet! But they all are too old, our babies names should be hybrid just like they are going to be." Sanjana said hugging Sam back.
"I love you sanjana, for completing me, for being my past, my present and my future." Sam kissed sanjana on her forehead.
"I love you too, for making me feel so precious." Sanjana replied.
"Now, its enough of buttering, you need to sleep." Sam said.
"You know they won't let me sleep, they are hell of a kicker, once I sleep. " Sanjana showing her belly said.
Sam bend down on his knees touching her belly said," baby, mom needs rest, if you let mom rest, then I will sing a song for you."
He made sanjana sleep on the bed and started to sing. Within few minutes Sanjana was sleeping peacefully holding Sam's arm.
Sam was sleeping in an uncomfortable position, when sanjana woke him up.
"Sam! I want to eat blue berry cheesecake!" Sanjana said, with a serious tone, as if it was life and death situation.
"Now!" Sam rubbing his eyes looked at the clock, which was still ticking 2:30," darling its 2:30, i will make it tomorrow morning for sure." He said.
"No I want it, I am hungry!" Sanjana pushed Sam out of the bed.
Sam knew it was useless to argue with sanjana at present, she had done this several times in last 2 months.
Sam still in half sleep entered the kitchen and started to cook. Hearing at the noise of utensils from kitchen, Tia and Roy came to see.
Tia laughed seeing Sam still almost asleep, but trying to cook something," ah! The food monster strikes him again. Let's go."
"Roy please wait, help me with this!" Sam plead for their help so that he could sleep a little longer.
"Sorry Sam! I don't know my ways around the kitchen." Roy said laughing with Tia.
"Tia atleast you should help me, I am your brother." Sam looked with desperation at Tia.
"Sorry! Bro! Your battle you fight." Tia and Roy left Sam in the kitchen, Sam got frustrated for a minute but then continued his work.
Sam cooked the blueberry cheesecake and took it to his bedroom. Sanjana ate the whole cake, though Sam was not surprised as she had done that before as well and then slept.
Sam finally slept at 4 o'clock after Sanjana dozed off, when a knock was heard at door.
"Master, are you ready for the hunt." A man stood at the door said.
Sam hadn't had blood since 3 days may be the blood could make him go for a few hours. He took his coat and left from the room stealthy. Afterall he needed to be at his strongest point to support sanjana if something goes wrong.
