Sanjana sat in her couch still thinking about rudra and his similarities with Samrat's face. But could it be possible that Sam is alive and is staying away from her, when she is pregnant with his child. Can Sam do this to her? Does he really doubt her character?
Only one person can tell if this was Sam or not. She took her jacket and left in a cab for Shergill mansion.
"How dare you enter my house without my permission? You know I don't like you around." Tia roared at Sanjana.
Few men gathered around Sanjana to throw her out of the house. Sanjana was afraid for her baby," wait, I think Sam is alive." She said before anyone could manhandle her.
All of them looked at Sanjana in shock, how can this be possible.
"If you are lying then I am not going to spare your life this time, even for the sake of your unborn baby." Tia said.
"OK, agreed." Sanjana after thinking for a moment said. If Tia could identify Sam, then it was worth it, if she could get her Samrat back.
She took Tia to the hospital, Tia couldn't believe her eyes seeing rudra, same face, same body structure. She looked at him for few minutes, but then snapped at Sanjana," how dare you call me for this stupidity? it not Sam."
"How can you be so sure?" Sanjana asked.
"He smells human, and after a thousand years of experience, I can differentiate between human and a hybrid." Tia said pushing Sanjana aside.
She couldn't believe which had hurt her more, Tia pushing her or her saying that this is not Sam.
Rudra saw Sanjana on the floor and ran towards her. Sanjana was in tears, she felt as if her world had torn down again.
"Madam, are you alright?" Rudra helped Sanjana get up.
Sanjana looked at him confused. He made her sit on a chair and offered her a glass of water," you should be careful."
"Huh?" Sanjana confused asked.
"You should be careful for the baby and your health." Rudra replied.
Sanjana tried to get up but felt dizzy, seeing this rudra said," don't worry, you sit over here, tell me what you need, I will get it for you."
Before Sanjana could reply to rudra, her eyes fell on Roy, who was seeing everything from a distance, as their eye met, he left making a face at Sanjana.
"What happened madam?" Rudra turned but didn't find anyone their.
Sanjana started crying, she knew that Roy must have thought wrong about her and rudra.
"Go away from here." Sanjana shouted at him.
Rudra left crying Sanjana their in the chair, never giving her another look. She got up from the chair and entered in her cabin and sat on her chair. She saw a letter opener in her stationary box. She took it, and watched at her wrist carefully, she was about to slit her wrist when some knocked on the door.
She dropped the letter opener and immediately shook the idea, how could she even think of suicide, when she was with a baby.
"Come in." Sanjana said wiping her tears off.
Rachel entered," Roy has asigned your duty for the evening, instead of mine. "
"OK." Sanjana thought it fruitless to argue.
At the lunch time, Sanjana sat alone in the corner, rudra approaching her asked," are you okay now mam?"
"Why are you always coming to me?" Sanjana asked frustrated.
Rudra sadly started finding another table to sit, Sanjana felt bad as how she behaved with him so she immediately said," sorry, please sit, I am not used to people behaving politely with me."
Rudra's face lit up immediately, he turned and sit at the table, and happily started eating his lunch.
Sanjana noticed that rudra's dish was full of vegetables, she reminisced how Sam used to love nonveg," you don't eat non veg?"she asked.
"No, I just hate it's smell." Rudra continued to eat in the same gross manner as he was eating. Sanjana remembered how sophisticated Samrat would eat, he often commented on sanjana's eating habits and behaviour at the table. Their was clear difference between Sam and rudra.
"Mam can I ask you one thing?" He saw at Sanjana with hope.
"Yes sure." Sanjana replied.
"Do I really look so much like Dr. Samrat? Dr. Rachel had recruited me as I was a look alike of him, she immediately gave me the post." Rudra asked.
"Just the face, you can't be him, he would be besides me in my bad time." Sanjana replied and left the sit.
The days passed, rudra developed sympathy for Sanjana, he would help her in his free time, sandhya had become acquainted to Sanjana, but misha didn't like Sanjana's increasing influence on. Her family.
Roy had turned more vengeful on Sanjana and rudra. Tia too had become aggressive and forced Sanjana to leave from her post in board of directors. Though they didn't have to try a lot, Sanjana left her post as soon as they kept on pointing at sanjana's absence in board meetings.
Rudra tried to make her understand that by resigning from board of directors, she gave a chance to Roy and Tia, now they could fire her, whenever they want, she was pregnant and she needed stability for her baby.
Sanjana went the departmental store for shopping, she was trying to get something from the top shelf, when someone else grabbed the cereals for her.
Sanjana looked at her helper, it was rudra,"mam you could have informed me, I was coming her with Sandhya, we could have brought it for you."
Sandhya clung to his leg, as rudra was talking to Sanjana. She for a moment felt that if Sam would have been alive, within few years, their daughter would also be with Sam and clinging to him like that.
Sanjana smiled at sandhya and then pushed her trolly forward. When she felt pain, she hold her belly and sat down.
"Appa, aunty.!" Sandhya pulled rudra's hand and showed, Sanjana collapsed to the floor holding her belly.
He lifted her in his arms and rushed to car, putting Sanjana in the back seat, he closed the door, he made Sandhya sit on front seat and drove off.
Rudra was sitting in the waiting area with Sandhya, when doctor came to him," she is fine, but someone really needs to take care of her. She has placenta previa, and she is weak, she would deliver prematurely, but we should try to give as much time as we could to the baby."
"But right now the baby is alright, right?" Rudra asked.
"Yes, you can take her home but tomorrow." The doctor said.
Before the doctor could finish his statement, misha arrived,"what are you doing here with my daughter? You know I don't like that women near my daughter." She pulled Sandhya's hand from rudra's hand.
Rudra also ran behind misha," wait, misha, don't."
She left with Sandhya in the cab, rudra stood their confused, on one side was Sanjana admitted in the hospital and other side were misha and sandhya who were angry on him.
Sanjana woke up the next morning, alone in the hospital, Her bill was already paid, but no one besides her, she touched her belly, and tears rolled down from her cheeks.
She came home after being discharged, their she saw Sandhya and Misha standing.
"I knew it, you were faking it. Knew it!" Misha shouted at sanjana.
"What are you saying?" Sanjana was confused and a bit dizzy.
"You act as damsel in distress and then steal others boyfriend and husband. Stay away from my husband. " Misha said angrily.
"What do you mean?" Sanjana asked after recollecting her words properly.
"Rachel told me about everything, how you stole her bf and now you have eyes for my husband, but you will pay for all this." Misha said.
"Look I am not trying to steal your husband." Sanjana saying this tried to pass Misha to enter into her apartment, but Misha pushed her angrily. Sanjana rolled down the stairs and became unconscious.
She woke up after a few hours in her own bed, her apartment locked from inside. She felt the whole inside with Misha was real but their was no sign of it. May be she just hallucinated being weak. Maybe she just opened the door and slept and probably had the dream that Misha pushed her on the stairs. She again slept peacefully, thinking about the news that doctor gave her today. She was happy.
