His hands aren't tied but he's obviously the culprit. Ocean is sitting on a chair in the center of a circled chairs which the councils sit.
The trial hall is a big room where trials for criminals are being heard. Wooden chairs circled the room. The only open part is the center or the place for the culprits. The King sit at the tallest chair in front of Ocean with the four councilors on each side of the king.
"So tell me your majesty, why did you brought a human girl here," Silenius asked him for he can't count how many times. Ocean can sense that Silenius is mocking his title because he didn't abide by the law.
"Because she's mine," Ocean simply answered. The councilors grunted because of his answer. If they keep on asking the same question, the trial will be pointless because Ocean will keep on answering the same thing.
'Sealina Equinox is mine.'
As King Io watched his fifth son answer the questions from the council, he remembered himself.
'Once a Song fell in love, it will be for eternity. And looks like my son is one,' King Io said. He pinched the bridge of his nose. One of his sons inherited his trait.
"This trial is going nowhere. As the head of the council, I will give my punishment to Prince Ocean Leandro Avery Song, fourth prince of the Song family in 16th generation—"
But before the head council finished his statement, the door fly open. (Because Rude Morie kicked it.)
King Io threw his deathly glare to his stupid sons. "Sorry father. We are in a hurry," Nyle excused and quickly curtsied.
He noticed that the human girl is with them as well as the Queen. The human girl dressed like an Osirisian and can fit as a princess but with her expression, she looked lost.
Every member of the council looked at Seal with wide eyes. They can't smell the human blood from Seal. They all looked at Ocean who is devilishly smiling.
'She's only mine guys. I brought her here, you get your own,' Ocean said at the back of his head.
The council gritted their teeth at Ocean. The fourth prince already made sure that Seal will never be taken from him. Once the one marked his/her partner, they can never get away from them because one will die without the other's presence.
"Ehem," Queen Jia cleared her throat turning everyone's attention to her.
The council stand up and bowed to their queen. The King asked his wife, "Why are you here, my queen? Why did you bring the girl here?"
"She want to ask something to you. And also I want to know what punishment my fourth son will receive," the Queen said sweetly.
Quite Seal asked herself. 'Fourth son? Don't they call each other by names? Does he have a name?'
'I have a name.'
Seal got startled by the sudden answer in her mind. She felt a little pain in her head. She saw Ocean who is facing her. Something in his blue eyes make her feel calm but also irritates her.
'I must be hallucinating. He can't talk me by my mind right?' She thought again.
'I can, baby. You're mine and we're connected,' Ocean answered again. The hallucination was proven when Ocean smirked at her.
Seal's eyes grew big. She was about to say something when Ocean stopped her. 'Shhh. Keep it a secret.' followed by a wink.
"Let's go my dear," the Queen gently pull her arm and lead her to the seat beside her. She's in between the Queen and Pierce. She knew the name of the brothers since they introduced themselves. Pierce is the guy with red hair and cute nose, the youngest.
"Your highness, we decided to give our punishment to the fourth prince since he's not answering our questions well," Silenius said.
'He's not answering their questions? Is Ocean lying to them?' Seal thought.
'I'm actually telling the truth here.' Ocean replied.
"Alright, but before that. I want you all to hear what the Sealina will say," she said before looking at Seal. The queen looked as if she trusted her so much.
She suddenly became nervous. She never attend some meetings like this before. Seal didn't want to disappoint the queen but she doesn't know what to say.
"Uhmm. Is there any way to get back to the human world?" she asked like a dumb person. She can't blame herself. She's too nervous but the councilor's presence.
The council members shook their head. "Once you enter the Vampire World, there's no turning back," Linus said creepily. In the council, he's the second in command after Silenius.
'Don't you want to be with me?' Seal heard Ocean asked in her mind.
Seal just nodded as if to accept the answer of the elders. But leaving Ocean? Something in her can't bear the idea.
But she still hope that someday, she will be back on human world.
"As for the punishment, I decided for the fourth prince not to be close or have communication to the girl," Silenius said.
'WHAT?!' Both Ocean and Seal thought making them look at each other's eyes. Jinx, Seal flushed.
"But this girl is my son's property. Isn't he supposed to take care of what he get?" the Queen asked. It's obvious that she doesn't want her son to be punished.
'Property? When did I become his property?' Sealina asked in her mind.
'Since the day I laid my eyes on you.' Ocean's statement brought wonder on Seal's mind.
"Remember my queen, the person that brought a human in this kingdom is not just an ordinary vampire. He's a prince, your majesty. And that can ruin his title. We all know that we can go to human world but humans must not enter our world. It's in the law. It's dangerous for a human to be here," Silenius said that made Seal focused on the situation.
Seal looked at Ocean with pity. 'He doesn't look bad at all. I'm sure that he will not hurt me.'
'Of course I won't hurt you. Why would I hurt the one that I love?' Ocean replied in her thoughts.
"But the girl loves him. They can't be far away from each other. They will find each other's presence. Both will suffer. This will only worsened the situation. Right, Sealina?"
She was startled by the Queen's question but still, she nodded. It's for the prince anyway. When the council decided to separate them from each other, both of them will die since Ocean marked her already. Being away from the marker is dangerous.
"Both of them will die. They already marked each other," the Queen said which is half-false since Seal didn't marked Ocean yet.
The councils' jaw dropped. They didn't know that their fourth prince will go this far.
"The reputation of the family must be protected. The girl must be converted into a vampire before they have their children. A week is enough for her to prepare while the fourth prince is being punished," Silenius said.
"We must resolve this before the news spread to the whole land," King Io said while thinking deeply. Somehow, the councilors became tensed.
"What will be my dear brother's punishment?" Quintus, the blonde prince asked.
"He will be jailed under the castle and battle with the Minotaur," Silenius answered.
Seal suddenly felt the fear at Ocean's punishment. She's a human and she can't help but to worry to the fourth prince. But her worry is subsided by the thought of 'Do minotaurs exist?'
