Chapter 13 - Her new name.

In the next morning he began telling them what their training would be.

"For four years you are not to leave these two rooms. I will let only a really tiny ammount of ki inside. And at the end of four years you have to be in the 4th layer."

"Something like that..." the 'new disciple' was stunned. How could one cultivate in those sorts of conditions.

He simply shoved them into the rooms and said "You are not to leave those rooms withouth my permission. You have everything prepared there food, water, clothes and a bath." After saying that he activated the formations at the door and left and the doors closed.

As soon as she entered in the room sge sat down and entered in deep thought. 'Could it be something with the Ki? No, it isn't. A formation? No. The walls? No, that isn't it either.'

Multiple such thoughts went through her head but in the end she didn't find anything wrong with the room or the Ki.

After a few days of search she decided to cultivate normally. It was incredibly frustrating to cultivate in such an environment where Ki was so thin as if it didn't even exist. After an entire week she only managed to make two grand circulations, even worse this body didn't cultivate before so it required food and sleep.

Aftet that week she didn't give up and continued doing the same withouth any rest. Perhaps something would come to mind in due time. As time passed she found nothing at all, instead the only thing she gained was simply reorganizing her mind and her thoughts.

Time seemed endless. As an unknown ammount of time passed she almost about to breakthrough to the first layer, but she couldn't. She felt that something was missing, and withouth that something that she is missing she couldn't breakthrough or she would regret it for life.

She maid her mind. She broke the small formation on the door and left the room. As soon as she left the room she encountered the old bastard waiting outside still sitted on a chair in the same position as she had seen him previously.

"Finnaly out? Took you long enough to let go of that pride and coming out to ask what it is you are missing, huh?"

As soon as she heard those words she felt annoyed and was about to enter the room again to ignore him.

"Wait, wait, wait don't go back in." Laing Chen said hurriedly.

After hearing that she stood in front of him.

"What is it that you wanted to teach with this?"

"Well after being in deep meditation for so long what did you gain?"

"Nothing."

"Really?" he smiled.

"What do you mean with that?"

"Well it is obvious that you are not a normal brat. You didn't even frown when seeing that massacre I made. And your knowledge is far above mine. But well I will not force you. I know you are trying to take advantage of me. But it matters not. In my heart you are my only disciple. And as my disciple your problems are my problems and your enemues are my sworn death enemies."

She was a little stunned. Who would ever do something like that? Knowing the other person is only taking advantage of you but not caring in the slightest. So she couldn't help but ask "Why go that far?"

"Because I can." he said in a clear and slow tone.

"Even if I do not tell you anything?"

"Everyone has secrets and as your master I am willing to always listen to anything you have to say. I am willing to always be the first one to wield a weapon to go for the moat perilous battlefield for your sake. Anything I own is yours and all my teachings are for you. What about a little secret?"

She was completely stunned by these words. 'This man is a madman, that is the only answer.' But even so she still felt a warmth is ger heart that she has not felt since she was very young.

"Even if that secret may harm you in the future?"

"Harm me? There is no one or anything that can harm me in this world."

"What if it's not from this world?"

"I will kill it nonetheless."

Those five words shock her mind and she couldn't help but reveal a slight and inconspicuous smile.

"Are you even willing to fight gods for my sake then?"

"Fight gods?" he asked in a strange voice. "I will kill even the Heavens for the sake of my disciple what about mere dogs?" he said in a domineering voice.

"Then -..." she was about to continue but was interrupted.

"Disciple, your master is willing to kill or fight anyone. It matters not who they are or what price I have to pay. I will kill them all if they offend my disciple."

She couldn't help but let her laughter come out this time. This was a first in many many years.

Liang Chen was stunned by this laughter he knew his disciple was a block of ice, thus he didn't expect that laughter of hers.

"Ok then. If you are this confident then I shall tell you everything about me."

As she told him her story he was awestruck. Yearning was written all over his face. He longed for such a world, such battles and such opponents. His battle spirit was ignited to the fullest.

"Then do you know the coordinates of that world?!" he asked in a hurry.

She knew why he asked such a thing.

"Yes I know, but it's impossible for you to advance further and if you went to such a rich Ki environment your curse would flare immediately and kill you from what I could gather so far."

"I see." he said dispirited but soon smiled. Then you go there and wreak havoc for my part too. Just make my grave as domineering as possible with the corpses of all your enemies to act as my resting place." he said in a confident and arrogant voice.

"And so have you decided to accept me as your master even if it's just for a few years?" he finally asked the question on his mind.

She did not answer immediately instead entered in deep thought and finally answered. "Yes."

He let out a laughter followed by a bright smile. "Ok then from today onwards you shall be known as surnamed Liang and named Meng. To simbolize the new you and the old you. To kill that bastard you have to be stronger than before and master shall help you to do that."
