That shock lasted until she heard his next words.
"The only shame is that I have no idea what stages come next otherwise I would have devised the next cultivation change. A shame indeed."
She became silent. Even though he was brimming with talent and passion he was born in the wrong world or wrong time. Had he been born in her world there would be no equal to him all would fall and bow before his spear. He could have brought about a new era with what he just showed her. Even though at the moment it was still embryonic and incomplete in several parts it had a huge potential.
"But well enough of that. Come with me."
As he said that he lead her into his room.
"Here are all the spoils that I have made over the years they are all yours. But I hope you will complete the formation to teleport through worlds first. So that you can run in case something happens to me and you are still weak to do anything to dave yourself."
After observing and thinking for a while she said: "Alright. There are indeed more than enough materials here. And it's good to let the formation accumulate more power with the years ahead. Since that formation will absorb Ki with time."
"Ok then. Here take this." he said as he threw at her an orb full of color. "This is the Ki of all the corpses in that place. It shoulb be enough for you to utilise to cultivate and for an emergency."
She nooded and said "Thank you." in a voice that was almlst inaudible.
"What? Did you say something."
"Not at all. You are getting in your old age already. Even your hearing has gone bad."
"How dare you say that to your master?! I see. Because I haven't thought you a lesson for a while you have gotten naughtier since then!"
She had a bad premonition ans began retreating but was suddenly thought and full of resignation and amger she yelled "Dont you dare!"
"Why wouldn't I dare?! A brat withouth any manners deserves a spanking!"
After a while she left the room with a black face with anger written all over it and unsteady pace.
She entered the room she was at previously and began cultivating according to the cultivation technique they had designed.
As soon as she began doing so she was conflicted because once she changed her Ki into Spear Ki there would be no turning back. She used the sword but now she was made to use a spear which she had not even touched before.
She was conflicted, but suddenly realized, she couldn't abandon the sword nor could she advance further using it. Meaning she would always be weaker then that hateful bastard Xiao Hai.
So she must try a new path. She must give it her all and change everything. The next time they meet she would slaughter him. She braced herself and began changing the Ki into Spear Ki. She didn't realize that it wasn't complete either only Liang Chen understood and knew why it wasn't complete.
Outside the room Liang Chen was sighing withouth end and there was sadness and unwillingness all over his face.
He only had ten years to live and so he decides to teach her everything. But after knowing her story he couldn't. He couldn't do it to this beloved disciple of his. He knew her path wasn't the spear nor the sword. But that must come to oneself not by others help.
He didn't know why but looking at his disciple he felt endless grief as if he was looking at a lost and helpless little girl. That was why he didn't let her reach enlightement before. If she did he felt she would lose her way even more. So he secretly put everything he knew into writting and stored it in a storage bag. Next he prepared clothes, food and cultivation resources and put them in a corner in sufficient range to get in the formation in vase it was ever necessary. As he did so he sighed once again.
