Grrr!!!!! Grrr!!!! Grrr!!!!
The alarm vibrated so loudly that Klora fell from the bed. He landed badly that he shouted Yelp!
He scratched his forehead continuously as he went back on the bed. He sat on it and yawned.
He looked around but couldn't see clearly, his eyes were still blurry.
Through his blurry eyes, he saw something that looked like a clock on the stool. He tightened his eyes and wiped it with his hand.
He opened it again and looked at the direction he couldn't see clearly. To his surprise, he saw a clock on a tall stool at the edge of the bed.
He beamed and stared at the clock.
" I guess my wishes are bound to come to pass in here" he grinned.
The Ray of sunlight streaked into the room as he drew the curtains. It's morning already, he yawned again and walked towards the bed. He looked at the clock and noticed that the short steel indicating the hour was pointing at nine while the long one was pointing at two.
" what! 09:10!" he exclaimed.
" have I been waking this late?" he thought.
He stood up and moved towards the door as he thought of bathroom. He opened the door and went in. It wasn't a surprise anymore, he was already used to it.
He walked at the bathtub and took his bath. After some moments, he was back in his room. He then moved towards the luggage and opened it. He was surprised as he saw the black robe he had worn the previous day neat and smartly packed, it was placed at the top. Even though he was used to it, he still felt somehow amazing. Who ever had been helping was even doing his laundry for him.
He took it out and put it on. He moved towards the door again and thought food. He opened it and as he walked in, he widened his eyes.
The tables had been filled with students. The Brown table filled with Brown Knights and the other tables filled with the knights of the tablecloths color. Except for the golden table, it was empty, no one was sitting there.
They were all eating various kinds of meal set on the table, chatting, whispering, murmuring and laughing. Some were so attached to their food that they didn't talk to anyone.
On the podium was a chair set there , no one was sitting on it, of course, it was vacant.
The door had led Klora to the back of the hall, he froze as he kept on looking at the crowd. He wasn't sure of what to do. He turned back to the door but couldn't see it anymore, it had disappeared.
" is the door feeling shy or what?" he thought. He spotted an empty chair at the Brown Knight table.
"maybe I should come back for the leftovers" he turned to leave but remembered that the door was gone. To leave the hall, he had to use the front door which means everyone is going to see him which he didn't want.
" What a surprise!" exclaimed a hefty boy from the Brown table. He had spotted Klora at the back where he was contemplating about what to do. Other students also looked at his direction in amazement.
" The negro finally found his way to the food after several failed attempts. The spirit of hunger is sure strong!" the boy exclaimed again as the crowd burst into laughter.
Well, since he had been seen, he thought of going out. He walked pass the crowd and reached for the door.
" you have some gut you know, " a voice whispered into his ears. He turned and noticed that it was one of the boy that beat him the other day. He wasn't sure if he was to be scared or not, he possibly can't beat him in front of the crowd, could he?
" I ask you to leave the boy alone!" exclaimed a brown Knight. Klora looked and traced the source of the voice back to the boy who helped him during the REALIZATION class. Klora's mouth drew out the ' O' shape. He was somehow happy, at last he had seen someone to stand for him.
" Prus, you're taking this too far" said the boy. Prus moved away from Klora and walked towards the boy, he was an inch away from him.
" Geoge, you won't always go away with your insolence just because you're the headmaster's son" Prus hisses as he went out of the hall.
" This is the second time you helped me, I owe you one" said Klora as he beamed a little. Geoge smiled as he offered him a handshake.
" well, you're owing me two actually" they both shaked as they beamed together.
" Geoge is the name actually, I'm the boy nextdoor" said George. Klora really couldn't believe it, he couldn't believe he just made a friend and not just a friend, the headmaster's son. He heard Prus saying it, he possibly couldn't be making that up in front of Geoge without him interjecting or something. It's going to sound weird asking him such on their first day of meeting.
" I'm Klora, and it seemed you already know my room" replied Klora. He still couldn't believe he was having this conversation right now.
" let's meet some other time, perhaps, you can come to my room anytime or I should come" said Geoge.
" What!" Klora exclaimed. He just invited him to his room, that was something fantastic to begin with.
" I can't let him in my room, I can't trust him just yet, not when I still can't figure out what has been happening in my room" he thought.
"I'll definitely check you out sometime" Klora replied him. Geoge smiled and went back to his seat. Klora became so happy that he felt hungry no more.
He opened the door and found himself in the corridor. He knitted his brows as he remembered he didn't think of his room. He was too happy that he had forgotten.
He turned back at the door and reached for the handle when he heard someone call his name.
" Klora!" the voice was soft, timid and familiar. He wasn't sure of who it was. He turned to see the person and to his amazement was Zil.
"zil!" he exclaimed. He froze as he kept on staring at her.
" Klora, it's really you" she rushed at him and hugged him. Klora still couldn't believe it, he couldn't believe he was seeing Zil right there. Zil is somewhat a stranger to Klora but not anymore to Klora, not after what they had passed through together.
Zil was putting on a gray robe with a longbow hung around her shoulder.
" You should be in the Brown Dept. already, shouldn't you?" she asked as she retreated from Klora's grip.
" yeah! Though, it's going to sound weird if anyone calls me a Brown Knight. " replied Klora. Zil looked at Klora and smiled.
" I heard about the way you were being treated by everyone." She said.
" what! You did!" Klora exclaimed.
" yeah, I saw what they did during the history class"
" you were in the history class? Why didn't you call me or something?" Klora asked as he furrowed his brows. Zil looked dejected all of a sudden.
" I'm sorry klora, I would be given a hard time if I did, it's just a luck that we met here." Said Zil.
" I understand, I know what being bullied means." he beamed.
" I'm sorry klora, you saved my life and I will never forget that but it would be the best for the both of us if we can put on the act"
" what! You mean we should ignore each other?" Klora asked.
" It's just for the time being, just until I gain ground." Klora's happiness faded away all of a sudden, he felt disappointed and cheated. He couldn't believe what he was hearing.
" Okay" he said. He had a lot of things he wanted to talk to her about but not anymore, not after she had shown him her true color. Klora couldn't still believe that Zil was telling him this.
Zil walked pass him and reached for the door handle.
" and also" she said as she turned to look at him in the bad state he was in.
" it would be good if you ignore Boyun and Ofelia when you meet them or else, you might not like their attitude towards you" said Zil.
" bye Klora, thanks for everything" she opened the door and went inside the hall.
" what was that all about?" Klora thought. He had thought it was a good thing passing the corridor when he firstly saw Zil but now, he was regretting it.
His eyes were filled with tears but still yet, nothing came down. Klora walked along the corridor for a moment before he suddenly stopped and turned back.
" I will never use the corridor again, it's bad luck" he thought. He wiped his eyes with his palm as he went to the door.
" I'm just by myself now, no Boyun, no Zil , just myself"
He thought of the dorm and opened the door. To no surprise of his, he entered his room and went straight to the bed. He looked beside his bed edge and toward the long stool.
" 10 already! He exclaimed.
" how the heck I'm I supposed to know when the Swordon class is starting?" he signed.
Oh!
Klora gasped as a parchment fell out of thin air to his bed. Even though he was used to things like that, he was still startled.
He picked it up and had a look.
" Swordon Class at 11!" he exclaimed. He beamed as he folded the parchment. He had already forgotten about his encounter with Zil.
" I should be there before it's time then" he concluded.
