It was 9 o' clock and Klora was already off the bed. He had come back from the hall and was preparing for the class of the day. He was near the luggage in the corner of the room, browsing through its contents.
" a Brown robe!" Klora exclaimed. He just saw a brown robe in the luggage, it was a big surprise, he was looking for the black robe he had worn the previous day but couldn't see it.
He held out the Brown robe as he beamed. It was neat and sparkling. Maybe it was time for him to put it on. He used his hand to brush its surface as he kept on staring at it.
Knock! Knock!! Knock!!!
Klora knitted his brows, no one had come visiting him since he arrived at the Knight school, he didn't even have anyone to check on him.
He placed the cloth back inside the luggage and made for the door. He opened the door just a crack and peeped through it. He couldn't see anyone.
" Who was that?" he thought. He closed back the door and went back to the luggage. Fear gripped him a little.
He brought out back the Brown robe and put it on, he felt a new surge of life as he put it on.
" I'm going to make this work, I'm going to become the best Brown Knight yet!" He exclaimed.
He moved towards the door as he thought of the Hunting class.
Phew!
Something flew pass his ear as he closed the door. He widened his eyes as he noticed an arrow stuck on the door.
" what the….." he looked around and noticed he was in a forest.
" The class really is outside the castle" he thought.
The door had already disappeared, leaving half of the arrow on the floor. He was standing in front of a huge fallen branch, that was where the door had left him.
It was quiet and he wasn't sure where to go, not after a stray arrow missed him an inch. He stood still, looking here and there.
" Ha!"
Klora heard a continuous screaming all of a sudden. Startled, Klora slowly moved away from where he was standing. He was near a bush when he heard the scream again.
Ha!
Klora was already shivering, he wasn't expecting something like this. He ducked in front of a bush, picked a stick and poised it.
Gasp!
A hand pulled Klora from the bush he was ducking in front of. He tried to yell but had his mouth covered by a hand.
"Easy, you should be in hiding, not ducking in an open area like that." Said a voice from behind him, the voice seemed familiar.
"Geoge!" Klora exclaimed as he turned back to see who was behind him.
"You should be careful next time" said Geoge. Klora beamed a little.
" where's the teacher and why does it look like we are in a high ranking mission?" Klora asked.
" quiet!" Geoge exclaimed as he covered Klora's mouth again. Through the slight opening in the bush, they noticed two ugly creatures growling as they drooled. The two creatures sniffed around for some moments then later went off.
" holy shit! Dullers for a class!" Geoge exclaimed.
" What do you mean? Those things, are they for the class?" Klora muttered.
" They are controlled by the Green Knights and once they show up in class like this, it means one thing" said George.
" and what's that?"
"bite and drool on it" Geoge replied.
Klora stared at him.
" can't we just stone them or something?"
Geoge sneered then giggled.
" that's the craziest thing have ever heard someone say, stone a duller?" Geoge giggled again.
" what's wrong with that?" Klora asked.
" Well, no other Dept. except for the Green Dept. is able to tame a Duller." Said Geoge.
" then does it means our teacher is a Green Knight?"
" yes!"
Klora widened his eyes.
" do you perhaps know how many years he has been teaching?" he was filled with curiosity.
" well, the youngest teacher has used 30 years and that's Master Klaren, the Swordon teacher " Geoge replied.
"30 years!" Klora exclaimed.
" but a Green Knight shouldn't live for more than…." Klora stopped talking, he wasn't sure if he should be discussing that with Geoge.
Geoge stared at Klora in a weird way, Klora obviously knew what the stare means, he knew he was expecting him to finish his statement.
" is this what we are going to do for the whole day, lying in the bush?" Klora asked, he needed to stop Geoge asking him where he heard that from.
" we hav... Quiet!" Geoge exclaimed. Klora noticed a rustling coming from a nearby bush on the other side of the fallen branch.
" we need to move" said Geoge, Klora furrowed his eyebrows.
" Why?" he asked . Geoge ignored his question as he crawled backward. Klora sneered as he started crawling too.
Not long, they were already out of the bush, they were now ducking behind the bush.
" what's in there? Do you think that's a Dulling?" Klora pointed at the rustling bush.
" We need a new cover" said Geoge. As they were about to turn, they noticed someone walking out of the rustling bush. The rustling stopped as he came out. He was in a gray robe. There was no expression on him and held in his hand was a Dulling. He was holding it by its tail. In his other hand was a longbow and hung in his back was a quiver of arrow.
He looked here and there as he pulled out the arrow stuck in the Dulling's head. Blood oozed out as he pulled it.
All of a sudden, he stared at Klora and Geoge's direction. Both Klora and Geoge hurriedly lowered their head as they maintained a perfect silence.
Geoge noticed the look on Klora, he could see the look of surprise and terror.
" Do you know him?" Geoge muttered.
" Yes, he is.... my friend" Klora couldn't believe he was staring at Boyun for the first time in days.
" Friend! That's weird" exclaimed Geoge.
" what do you mean?" " a friend from other Dept. doesn't always work out well" Geoge replied.
Klora still couldn't believe this, he wasn't sure if he was to call his name and let him know he was around.
" It would be better if you ignore Ofelia and Boyun when you see them" he remembered what Zil had told him.
" I think we need to get away from him" said Geoge.
" why? He possibly couldn't kill us, we are in a class probably learning how to hunt" Klora replied.
" Really! He already has his hand on the Gray Dept. arrow and you still believe we're here to hunt rats, right?"
Klora didn't understand what Geoge was talking about.
" what do you mean?" Klora asked
"you sure don't know anything, do you?" Geoge sneered, Klora could see the look of disappointed in him, and he himself felt embarrassed.
" normally, a knight shouldn't have access to his or her Dept. weapon in sect 1, it's too early. But now that your friend has one, it means all the sect 1 of the Gray Dept. are already going far than normal." Geoge explained. Klora couldn't believe all what he was listening to. He peeped to see Boyun again and to his surprise, Boyun was sitting on the fallen branch, butchering the Dulling.
" I thought you said no other Knight except for the Green Knight can tame them" said Klora.
" and does that look like taming to you?" Geoge asked rhetorically.
" we shouldn't have been here in the first place, I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner" said Geoge.
" What do you mean! The hunting class is today and that's what we're doing right now!" Klora exclaimed.
" No you're wrong, the hunting class has been postponed till we all have our Swordon "
" hell no! You knew that all along? Then why did you come too?" Klora asked, he was already overwhelmed with fear, beads of sweat was all over him.
" I'm sorry, I followed you here."
"you what!" Klora exclaimed loudly that Boyun was up, looking around cautiously. He drew out an arrow and nocked it very fast as he aimed towards where Geoge and Klora was hiding.
" come out with your hands in the air" said Boyun as he walked slowly towards them.
Klora could feel his heart in his mouth, " is Boyun going to kill me once he knows it's me?" he wasn't sure.
" what should we do?" Klora whispered. Geoge dipped his hand inside a pouch hung around his waist and then rummaged through it.
" It's good I brought it along" said Geoge as he withdrew his hand folded from the pouch. He unfolded it and on his palm were two white pills. He gave one to Klora while he held onto the second one.
" you get 3 sec until you come out!" Boyun exclaimed, he was already near them.
"Hurry up and chew that" said Geoge as he threw his in his mouth and started chewing it. Klora hesitated for a sec, wondering what the pills was for but he was forced to chew it when Boyun started his count.
" 2, 1!" he shot the arrow as he stopped counting.
To Klora's surprise, he could see the arrow fly through his chest and unto a nearby tree. He couldn't feel anything, there was no blood coming out, in fact, it looked like the arrow never went through him at all.
Boyun hurled himself at the back of the bush. He gritted his teeth as he stared at Klora for some moments and then later looked towards Geoge.
