Chapter 170 - Restless

Three in the morning – the attack of the Tiger, pouncing on its prey… as the Chinese believed…

The only sounds that could be heard were the sounds of night owl and crickets… Si Weimin's men quietly made their way and surrounded the warehouse…

"Make sure to make them taste hell," Si Weimin smirked inside the car while he ordered Wang Guo to proceed with the plan.

"Yes, boss!"

"You already know what to do," Si Weimin nodded at Wang Guo before he looked at the beautiful woman beside him, "Thank you for the help, love."

Earlier, after they took the hidden camera, Xu Jia Li asked him to use his laptop as she began to type the codes that managed to hack the system. He gazed with awe as he watched her worked hard as she infiltrated the system without even alarming the enemy. The information began to leak as Xu Jia Li tapped at the keyboard so fast.

She looked engrossed in what she was doing as she ran a code that made the server unavailable to the main controller. She typed faster as she made the server crashed.

Once Xu Jia Li hacked the server, she sent the copied data to Ru Tengfei since all the data had been fully encrypted. Within minutes, Xu Jia Li managed to cause a huge trouble in the server in a relatively small amount of time.

Ru Tengfei called after receiving the data and told them that he managed to decrypt and crack one of the encrypted data which led to an address at D City. Si Weimin immediately ordered his men to get ready.

Within an hour, they arrived at their destination, with Xu Jia Li still focused on the laptop on her lap as she tried to decrypt more data that she could.

"Some of the data are tricky," she sighed as she began to type more code without even taking her eyes away from the screen.

"It's okay, love. You've done a great job. I didn't even know how you managed to infiltrate their server. It's more than enough. We'll get to the other data some other time."

"But, it's making me restless…"

"Don't think too much about it. Are you ready?" Si Weimin held Xu Jia Li's hand as they waited for his men. He gazed lovingly at Xu Jia Li before he said, "Our next target will be Zhou Jiayin's underground army. Since it's against the law, we need to get solid evidence. Just wait a little more and we'll avenge your mom."

"Boss, it's all done."

"Great. Let's proceed to the hide-out," Si Weimin nodded with a satisfied look in his face. Then, he moved his head on his side and saw Xu Jia Li sleeping soundly on his shoulder. He caressed her smooth face as he ordered Wang Guo to drive.

"Boss, we're here. Should I drive young madam to the resort?"

"No. She needs to know everything. Guo, make sure that the perimeter is safe. I won't take another failure just like the last time."

"Yes, boss." Wang Guo held his breath when he saw the ferocity in the devil's eyes. He shivered. The devil was becoming more and more frightening. He shouldn't make a mistake or the devil would have his head.

"Jia, we're here."

Xu Jia Li woke up from hearing Si Weimin's voice. She didn't know that she fell asleep after trying countless times to crack the code. Her gaze automatically moved from her lap. The laptop wasn't there and was placed beside her. She looked at Si Weimin with dozy eyes, "Where are we?"

"In the new facility that we put up. Let's go?"

Xu Jia Li nodded as the two of them exited the car. The place was one of the Si Family's branches. It was a modern two- storey building with top of the class security feature.

Once they entered inside, Xu Jia Li was greeted by the sight of the two men tied in the middle of the room. They wore black masks. The younger one wore black suit while the other older one wore a deep blue Mao suit with brocade cuffs. She immediately looked at their cup links but they weren't the same as the cup links that Si Weimin showed her before.

"Guo, removed their masks."

"Yes, boss!" Wang Guo did what he was told as he took off the masks of the two men.

"You're making a mistake," the man wearing the Mao suit clenched his jaw. He was almost 70 years old and a red sparrow was tattooed on his nape, "You won't live after this."

Wang Guo hit the old man's face which caused the lips to bleed, "Who are you and why do you want to hurt the young madam?! Answer!"

"Do you think you can make me speak? I'm already old. I don't really care about my life anymore. Go on. Kill me."

Wang Guo looked at Si Weimin who was now sitting on the couch opposite them. Beside him was Xu Jia Li. Once he saw Si Weimin's signal, he hit the old man's neck which caused him to choke, "We'll grant your wish but we'll make it satisfying for you."

Afterwards, Wang Guo hit the old man's chest. A series of coughing followed.

"Master, I'll do everything to take you out of here. Just hold on!" the younger man wearing a black suit shouted as he tried to remove the shackle on his wrists.

"Don't be impatient. We'll get to you soon," Wang Guo kicked the man before he held him and injected a red liquid on the man's left arm.

"Whatever they'll do, just keep your mouth shut." The old man said without lifting his gaze away from Xu Jia Li.

"Shut up!" Another blow hit the old man's chest which caused him to cough blood.

Meanwhile, the liquid on the younger man's body was taking effect. His veins bulged, swelled and turned crimson red as they became visible. The veins in his eyes also reddened like they would burst. The sight was horrifying.

"Master, is it? I guess you already know how that liquid works. It will slowly creep through your veins. First, you'll have difficulty breathing. Then, one by one each vein will burst until the agonizing slow death knocks on your door," Xu Jia Li grinned as she looked without fear at the sight in front of her.

It was her idea to use the fruit and sap of the Deadly Nightshade plant and the Gotu Kola plant to make a potion that would slowly kill whoever had it. She still remembered how her mother taught her about medicinal and poisonous plants. She didn't know that it would come handy this time.

"I'm not afraid," the old man calmly sat on the chair as he looked meaningfully at Xu Jia Li, "It seemed that Yi Fei raised you well."
