Looking at Little Gold who is sleeping beside him with a bloated belly and a satisfied grin on its face, Yun Xiao could not help but feel warmth and love towards the Golden monkey. After saying out the oath, familial feelings has taken root in his heart towards Little Gold.
"I do not have any siblings, my only family now are mother and Little Gold. Mother is just a woman and Little Gold is nothing but a monkey and a glutton. I guess it is up to me to become dependable as the only male figure in the family and take care of my family. I do not know or understand why we are hiding ourselves away in this cave. I can only guess that Mother must have her own reasons and the only reason she has not told me anything is because either she thinks that I am too young or it is because she thinks that I am not yet dependable. Whatever the reason may be, I have to start working hard to not let Mother shoulder all the burden. With strength, I can make Mother live a good life."
He may be young but living in the forest and seeing how animals interact with their own kind, how they struggle to find food, mates, shelter and how they struggle daily with the threat of death from predators has matured his thinking and mindset far beyond most other children his age.
"Tomorrow, I must ask Mother her permission to go and cultivate in the tree. There are way too many items that its impossible for me to bring them back with just Little Gold and myself."
After thinking alot about what to do with the Golden Dragon Blood fruits that are in the tree, Yun Xiao decided to use a part of it for himself and also to give to Mother as much as she needed so that she could also recultivate The Heavenly Body Reconstruction skill.
The next morning, at dawn, Yun Xiao was once again woken up by Little Gold. Surprisingly, Little Gold did not wake him up by throwing a stone seed. Little Gold found a different way to wake him up this time. Little Gold sat on Yun Xiao's face and let out the loudest, the smelliest and most absurd fart that Yun Xiao has ever heard. At first, it was because of the fart soumd that jolted him awake. But it was the smell of the fart that completely awoke him.
"puuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut!"
Yun Xiao awoke to the most horrible smell imaginable. With tears in his eyes, not because he was crying, but because it was just too horrible, he pushed Little Gold away and sat up
All the time coughing his lungs out for he was sure the fart went directly into his lungs.
"Arghhhh, Little Gold, are you trying to poison me to death with your fart? I am going to kill you!"
With bloodshot eyes, and having completely lost all reason, he ran towards Little Gold who immediately took off. Little Gold was laughing so hard as he ran away from Yun Xiao. Little Gold was feeling extremely pleased with itself for discovering a new way to wake Yun Xiao up. One five year old boy and one golden monkey thus began a chase. Knocking down things and creating a loud din.
"What is going on here? Why so much noise from the two of you so early in the morning?"
Out of the blue, Mother magically appeared in between the two little rascals. She immediately pinched the both of them on the ears, holding them apart, one hand on each ear.
"Mother, it is Little Gold who started it! He farted on my face when i was sleeping and that smell mother, that smell, i can still smell it even now when i breathe. I am going to tie it up and fart on it for the rest of the day. I will eat the smelliest foods i can find so that my fart smell will be even more horrible than Little Gold's."
Mother : =_=**!!
"Do not blame Little Gold here, it is your fault for not being vigilant enough."
Yun Xiao continued protesting for a few more minutes, Little Gold tried to act innocent but could not help itself from sneering and making muffled laughter sounds.
"Enough!, This will be the end of it. If you do not wish for this to happen, then be more vigilant. Imagine of instead of a fart or a stone seed, what if it was a blade. You would have already died mutiple times over. In fact, I personally think that what Little Gold is doing is good for you. Little Gold, you have my permission to continue farting on Xiao'er or do even worse. Xiao'er, take this as a form of training."
"What the hell kind of training will this amount too? Will i be considered the umtimate fart master after this training. Will I be using farts to attack and defend. Wait, i am sure if there was any attacker, I can just throw Little Gold right at the attacker, once Little Gold farts at the attacker, i am sure the attacker will just faint."
This was what Yun Xiao was thinking when Mother told him to consider this as a form of training.
By now Yun Xiao had calmed down a little.
"Mother, remember yesterday I told you about the huge number of Golden Dragon Blood fruits that in the tree. Please take half of it for your cultivation. At the same time, I have decided to use the remaining Golden Dragon Blood fruits on myself. With the sheer number of it, I am confident that I can make significant progress in The Heavenly Body Reconstruction skill. "Thank you Xiao'er but Mother has no use for the Golden Dragon Blood fruits. Mother sustained an injury a long time ago. Do not worry, it is not a life threatening injury. It is just that if Mother do not resolve this injury first, no matter what heavenly medicine Mother eats, it is useless as Mother's strength cannot be raised."
