It has been almost three months since his teacher gave him the time limit.
During this time, Yun Xiao never slacked off. His current life was currently a routine. Every morning he would practice and hone his bow skills with Little Gold by hunting near the lake. Part of this was due to his determination and part of it was due to his natural talents. He has since reached level two thanks to the supply of the Golden Dragon Blood fruits. Now his vision was even more sharper compared to before. He could even clearly see the details of a mosquito's wings 5000 metres away. The Thunder Goat was killed by a single arrow from a distance even before it could react and call forth thunder. It died not knowing who or what animal killed it.
"I can't wait to actually start learning sword skills from teacher. Unfortunately up till now, teacher has not taught me anything. Everyday, I am condensing my killing intent, making it stronger. But I just can't wait to learn some of the powerful sword skills teacher has. Teacher is so amazing. All his opponents so far has been legendary figures yet they all cannot even stand even one strike from teacher. Thinking how I will one day face teacher in a battle gives me the shudders. I rather not think about that at all. Anyways, today is the day to meet teacher again. I wonder if teacher will be pleased that I completed his task with one week to spare."
Once again Yun Xiao was transported into the Sword World as soon as he touched The Executor's Sword. By now, Yun Xiao had gotten used to the gore and blood of the Sword World. He ignored all the corpses and headed directly to the hill. Now he could climb up the hill in 2 breaths. As soon as he got up, he was once again in the presence of the thousands of swords. All the swords now gave off a happy humm as soon as he approached. This is testament to how much he has improved and how his indomitable will has conquered the swords. Naturally he knew that he was very far away from sword mastery and he had only gotten the approval of the swords. Feeling pleased with himself, he confidently looked towards his teacher's abode and called out to his teacher.
"Teacher, your disciple has completed the task given to him. May i ask teacher to come and verify for himself."
Whoosh.... In a blink of an eye, his teacher was standing in front of him and looking in the directions of the thosands of swords. Feeling his gaze, all the swords immediate gave out a humm of excitement. The excitement level given off by the swords was thousand of times more than what Yun Xiao received from the swords. Yun Xiao felt that if his teacher gave just one word, all these swords would strike and slash the whole world just to earn his teacher's pleasure.
"One day I will surpass this. I will make the swords want to bow to me in reverance." Yun Xiao swore to himself as he once again committed to his desire of wanting to surpass his teacher.
"Xiao'er, not bad at all. Teacher is satisfied with your performance. From today till you achieve your awakening, you will be practising the basic sword moves. There are three moves in total. The first is poke. The second move is slash. The third move is parry. Allow teacher to show you each of the moves."
"Teacher, please wait a moment. Is it possible for this disciple to learn an ultimate skill instead? I should be able to master these 3 moves immediately. It sounds easy enough." Yun Xiao asked. He really felt that the three basic moves were very easy once he heard its names.
"Ohhh..you can master them immediately? If you really can, teacher will impart to you an amazing sword killing skill immediately. Come on.. now show teacher how you can master the basic sword moves immediately."
Seeing the look of disdain his teacher was giving him and also the sarcastic tone his teacher used on him, Yun Xiao sweated.
"Teacher,your stupid disciple apologizes. I indeed bit off more than I could chew. For me to have assumed that the basic sword moves were easy was just nothing but sheer stupidity on my part. This useless disciple have now realized his errors. Please forgive me teacher. Whatever teacher teaches must definitely be very important. Teacher's wisdom is more than all the men and woman in the world put together. The sages of the past must be turning in their graves knowing they did not manage to hear the golden words of wisdom and enlightenment coming from teacher."
Yun Xiao continued singing his teacher's praises. Seeing that his teacher did not stop him and was actually enjoying the praises, Yun Xiao contined the shower of praises. Hahahaha, what a wonderful disciple you are. To think you truly understand the magnificance of your teacher. Come, come closer and watch your teacher demonstrate the three moves to you. Intially, I was only going to demonstrate each move only once but now I am in a very good mood so I will show you each move three times. Get ready now, watch the first move very carefully. It is known as the poke. When you poke, all the barriers are gone. The poke goes through even the heavens. Nothing can stop it."
With that, Yun Xiao saw a move that created a vaccum all around it. It was as if the vacuum was bringing towards the tip of the sword. Nothing can escape or block it. His teacher showdd the move three times and each time Yun Xiao was able to generate more and more insights. He slowly went into a daze of enlightenment where the poke move his teacher had shown him occupied all his thoughts. He replayed this move of his teacher hundreds and thousands of times.
Suddenly Yun Xiao awoke from his enlightenment. He immediately grabbed a sword that was nearest to him. As soon as he held the sword, he took a deep breath and a very small black vacuum, the size of a grain could be seen at the tip of the sword. Compared to his teacher, the difference was like heaven and hell. The vacuum created by his teacher was like a huge mountain, engulfing everything in the vicinity.
"Good, good, good. You have managed to induce the vacuum. Train harder, hahahahaha. Now watch the second move very carefully. The Slash is to slash apart all obstacles in front of you. Nothing deserves the right to stand in front of you and your sword."
As soon as his teacher held the sword, lightning clouds began to form in the skies above. Rain started to fall. It was as if the heavens are crying and asking for forgiveness and begging his teacher not to use this move.
With a slash of his teacher's sword, time seem to stand still. The slash brought about thunder and lightning. That one slash seem to represent the fury of the heavens. Not even the heavens deserve the right to stand in front of his teacher and his sword.
Once again, his teacher demonstrated the move thrice. After the third move, Yun Xiao once again went into a daze. Once again, Yun Xiao was in a state of enlightenment. Every detail of the move shown by his teacher was being replayed in his mind over and over again. Inside his mind, he watched the slash move over and over again. He broke down every slight detail his teacher did. Even the fine hairs on his teacher's hands did not escape him. Yun Xiao's now amazing sight was put to full use now.
After what seemed forever, Yun Xiao once again awoke from his enlightened state. Grabbing the same sword earlier, he concentrated and tried to recall every single detail about the Slash move his teacher did.
There were no lightnings or thunder this time. But he did manage to form some clouds.
"Hahaha, no need to feel disheartened Xiao'er. Analyze more on the essence of the slash. Once you understand the essence, you will naturally improve. Now let me show you the third move."
After completing the three moves, his teacher left him. Yun Xiao was still in an enlightened state. This time after coming put from his enlightened state he did not rush to try execute the Parry move. He bowed his head in the direction of his teacher's abode and said,
"Disciple thanks teacher for the lessons. Disciple will train hard and will not let teacher down."
After giving three kowtows, he touched The Little Green Sword and was immediately transported out of the Sword World.
