On a bright sunny day on Earth, mayhem was in the air, death and destruction rampant as far as the eye could see. On a freeway a young man could be seen protecting a family of three that included a woman and two children, their appearances were average of a single parent family. The young man wielded a long leaf shaped blade with diamond shaped engravings in the handle, in front of him were a horde of hideous caterpillar like monsters.
Instead of the somewhat cute little bugs, these monstrosities had 10 to 15 rows of sharp teeth and a couple thousand small spider like legs. Our young hero was cutting them down. as fast as they came at him but there were simply to many. "Get out of here!" the young man shouted." There's a stronghold not to far from here to the east, I have already cleared the path, just follow the corpses of the bugs. "Okay!" The mother of two shouted out, you could hear the fear and distress in her voice as there was a slight tremble when she spoke. The woman wasted no time and grabbed her two children, they last swiftly in search of their only hope.
The young man looked back at the fleeing trio and smirked. "Well it seems that I'm going to die today, at least I won't have any regrets. I'll try and stall for as long as I can, you three better live on and take revenge for me." Hahahaha" the young man laughed. "The world's gone to shit anyways, these damn things will probably overrun us in a few months maybe a year at most. Unless a miracle happens and give us the power to take these things out, we're doomed." The young man turned to face his foes his killing intent soaring through roof. He dashed forward, every slash of his sword taking a life.
This battle went on for two hours. The young man, now surrounded by a pile of corpse's, exhaustion appernt on his face. His body riddled with various wounds too numerous to count. He had blood flowing down both arms due to the deepness of his wounds. In his last breathes, he stared down the everlasting horde of bugs. "Hahahaha" he laughed out loud. "Well it's been a good fight boys, but I'm nearing my limit and I'll be dammed if your eating me for dinner, alive at least." The young man took took his sword and pointed the tip at his chest right around the area where his heart was. "Hopefully I wouldn't be so unlucky in the next life, if there is one." Splitch! the sword pierced into is heart killing him instantly with minimal pain.
On the continent of Verwood year 1275 Chaos Calender....
It was a stormy night, the wind howling louder than ten thousand wolves, torrential rain pouring down as if the flood gates to the heavens had opened. Lighting running rampant in the skies as if daring to strike down any who were opposed to it's rule of the skies. In the Castle of Pale-Blood on the southeast corner the room of duchess pale blood was located.
On the luxurious bed in the center of the room 5 women could be seen surrounding a fair maiden with milky white skin. She had large round belly and was screaming in pain. Her hands firmly gripped the bed sheets with enough strength to tear a mans hand off. All five of the women were fair in their own right but were nothing special compared to the maiden in labor. None of their depositions stood out except one, she had sharp eyes which entailed intelligence and a voluptuous figure that would make an army fight for her. She was the midwife in charge of this childbirth.
"Get the warm water quickly! She shouted "and get something for her bite on!" Helen you don't need to be so hard on them" the maiden groaned out through clenched teeth. "Your highness Zara we can't jeopardize yours and the child's safety for sake of some servants feelings." Yes mine and the child's safety is important but yelling and rushing them isn't going to help the- AAAHHHHHH!" "Your Majesty come here quick!" Helen shouted in desperation. Boom! The door burst open, "What's wrong Helen" Said the man that broke down the door. He had a tall stature with muscles bulging out of his luxurious robes, on top of his head sat a kingly crown with jewels adorned in intricate patterns all around it. He had dark complexion but had bright green eyes that seemed to pierce through your very being.
"Your majesty something seems wrong with the pregnancy. We were having some issues before but now it seems to have taken a turn for the worst." "Siegfried, promise me that you will save the child. No matter the cost PROMISE ME you will save him." Zara barley manged to muster the strength to say these words. "I promise my love, that I will save the child at all cost or my name isn't- wait, you said son. How do you know it's a boy?" "I can feel it, he has connected to my life force and begun draining it so he can come it to this world. It's just as Helen said, it was fine at the beginning but suddenly he connected to me and started draining me." "Bloodline Awakening!" Siegfried gasped.
" I can feel it, he's going to take everything." Zara said with a smile on her face. "My love, you will die" Siegfried said with tears falling from his eyes, you could see the torrent of emotion he was feeling just by looking at his face. " That may be true dear but he is strong, so strong that he can exhaust all my life force, he will be a good heir to rule the kingdom you and your father built, to take back the throne from that bastard you once called brother." Zara said with anger and sadness mixed in her voice. " Once he's born be sure to nurture him with the best resources, take care of him and make sure no harm comes to him." "I will my love, I promise y- AHHHHHH!" " The baby's coming out your majesty."
A bright white light decended from the heavens and filled the room blinding all who dared to look at it. In Helen's hand the source the light clung to was a baby boy fresh from the womb. He had bright light green eyes that seemed to contain untold wisdom. Floating atop his head there was a bright multi colored Halo. "All Attribute Affinity! Zara was right, the heavens have truly blessed me and my clan. A gienus not seen for millions of years has decended on my clan today." Said Siegfried in glee. As soon as Siegfried finished his speech the light faded away. "Helen quick let me see him." Zara said with haste in her voice. " My handsome little prince grow strong for me and help your father rule this land as none are as special as you, remember that. Helen bring him to his father." Helen careful took the baby and brought him to Siegfried. " Your majesty," "Thank you Helen.
He has my eyes and mouth but it seems he inherited your beautiful looks Zara." "Zara? Zaraa!" Helen rushed to Zara's side and immedaity saw that her eyes were closed. She reached with her hand to check her pulse, there was no heart beat. Siegfried made his way with the baby boy in his embrace to Zara's side to she her state in passing. She had a big smile on her face, eyes closed and tear you could barley notice at the corner of her right eye. Siegfried took a deep sigh, " I guess it's up to me to name you now, me and Zara went over many names, but one stood out to me. From this day forth you will named Godfrey Pale-Blood.
