As Rael heard those words, 170 vanished.
"It's that damnable child." Rael shook his head on that thought. It had been a long time since he felt that unique presence that child carried when he 'delivered' him to a new life.
The presence of death and emptiness.
Rael shuddered as he reminisced the fleshy walls and the lake. Everything seemed to be vivid like everything happened just yesterday despite a long time ago. Whatever it is that the child schemed would exactly destroy his life for good.
He decided not to go.
"I should head to the camp. I need to protect Lily."
...
Meanwhile, in an exclusive cafeteria, a lovely lady is seated inside surrounded by her companions near the slave camp. A fiesty argument is ongoing, making their coffee and tea seemingly cold in comparison to their flaming rebuttals.
"I tell you, princess, it would do you no good defending germs such as that." The man seated adjacent to her spatted out loud as he pointed at the Soulless outside. Then he proceeds to add sugar cubes in his beverage.
"Soulless or not, creatures within the universe are all equal! Indeed, even the Suspiria are regarded out of fear. For what reason wouldn't we be unable to do likewise for other humans?" The princess guarded her stand. She endeavored to safeguard the Soulless slave's dignity.
Which, in a sense, absurd.
"I do admire your soft and kind heart, as expected of the second princess of Von Morgen Kingdom; however, I stand the same ground as Pol does. It's nugatory your highness." Another man interjected, he carried the presence of a majestic prince.
"Just like those germs! Nugatory indeed!" Pol exclaimed, then he pats prince in the back. "You do know how to draw the line of mercy your excellency, worthy of being an SS5 rank among this generation."
"As for you, Princess Sarane. You are herald as the Daughter of the Heavens by the universe, an SSS rank, humanity's future! You should know how to act accordingly, or else others might take advantage of you" Pol added the spice on his previous words and gestured an unsatisfied expression as he lifts his cup and sips the tea in one gulp.
Infuriated, Sarane slammed the table. "You dare disrespect me as you brought up my title?" A yellow light glowed in her glabella. Between them, a sinister cloud wafted its brilliance.
Following this outburst, every cup in the cafeteria levitated as if they had acknowledged a mystical force. Pol fumbled and was startled by what happened. Great shock was noticeable to every one of the clients face inside the cafeteria.
Talent Seed Manifestation!
Talent Seeds are seed-like marks. These seeds are the visible proof of possessing the power of authority. Talent seeds are said to be given by the universe and can't be taken forcefully or destroyed. It can glow in four different colors.
Red, which means the Physical Seed, grants invincible physical prowess
Blue, which means the Psychic Seed, grants overflowing life force
Violet, which means the Progeny Seed, grants both invincible physical prowess and overflowing life force. However, due to both power clashing for dominance, cultivation can prove challenging. Thus death is a usual occurrence.
Yellow, which means the Perfect Seed, grants superior power among all creatures in terms of Physical prowess and Lifeforce. They are herald as the Sons and Daughters of the Heavens.
Talent Seeds are one of the foundations for power and authority usage for creatures.
"Calm down your highness!" The woman beside Sarane quickly held her hand, trying to ease her outburst. Blue light glowed in her forehead, but when compared to Sarane, her light shone like an ember next to the flaring sun.
In spite of the difference in power, she managed to calm her down.
"I am leaving!" Sarane remarked. Countless cups fell on the ground, a symphony of shattering glass chime in the cafeteria.
Insane telekinetic ability!
Silence filled the cafeteria as Sarane walked out. The lady beside her hurriedly followed. She gave Pol a death glance which suggested to him that he's a lump of dead meat if the king finds out!
Pol sighed in disbelief; fear was the last thing he should worry about. The king hated the Soulless similarly. What he is worried about is a death decree under the princess' name.
"Don't worry she won't. She's not that low, and besides, you're my property." Seemingly aware what Pol worried about, the prince calmly said. His forehead glowed with a blue light as well. His tea floated in the air; then it flowed right into his lips, similar to marching soldiers.
"Under my royal name, Prince Lock. You are safe." Prince Lock said after he finished the flowing tea. He then stood up and patted his clothes. " Let's go, that bratty excuse for a princess caused quite the commotion. "
Pol then came to his senses. He then noticed the sea of stares from the crowd inside the cafeteria.
"What are you all looking at!?" Pol shouted, then the crowd averted their gazes on their table. "No matter what, I'm a combatant lieutenant veteran! I may not be of an Expert rank, but I can still kill her in a snap! She should know how to respect her elders! Princess of humanity's future of or not!"
Both of them proceeded outside the cafeteria.
"Stop your chattering you worthless germs, consider it as a blessing that the king of this kingdom allows you to breathe the same air as we do!"
A powerful might descended on the marching Soulless. The sight was purely gruesome.
The scene made both Prince Lock and Pol happy deep inside. Seeing the Soulless convulsing on the ground made them feel good.
"Pathetic, I'll make sure to reward that guard later for such great performance."
Prince Lock suddenly had an epiphany. "Pol, since our lovely Princess loves the Soulless so much, we shall cave in with her desires."
"What do you mean your excellency?" Pol precisely knew what the prince had in mind. However, he still wants to confirm his young master's thoughts.
A sinister grin then emerged from Prince Locks face. His face was devoid of any royal presence he had. The pure conviction of emptiness shrouded his words, and an expression of a cynical murderer covered his entire face.
"I have a plan."
