Mo Chang Chang soon left Chen Ai Yu's apartment. They agreed to go job hunting soon. It was pretty late already, so Ai Yu headed to bed. The next morning was a Wednesday, Ai Yu got straight to looking for a job after freshening up. She prepared an american breakfast while scrolling through her phone for job offers. She found many, but they all looked real sketchy.
After some time, her phone vibrated. Liu Jun Yi had messaged her.
"Hey, are you free today?"
"Hello! Sorry, I'm not free today. I'm going job hunting with Chang Chang," Ai Yu replied.
"Job hunting? What job are you looking for?"
"Lawyer... lawyering? Erm, I studied law..."
From the other side of the phone, the male chuckled at her awkward explanation of a lawyer job.
"Got it. I'll message you back soon."
Ai Yu wasn't quite sure what he meant, but she just gave a short reply and continued her quest for a job. She finished up her breakfast, sat on the sofa and waited for Chang Chang to come over. It was about 2.30 when she arrived.
"Let's look online first and then go out and look for companies later," Mo Chang Chang suggested as she settled down and quickly set up her laptop. Chen Ai Yu agreed. It was an afternoon with no success...

After messaging Ai Yu, Jun Yi cleared his schedule for the day and phoned an old friend.
"Dewei? We haven't spoken in a long time huh...."
"Yea, hahaha! What's up?"
"I know I'm asking you this on short notice but I have a friend who studied law in university and is currently looking for a company to work at. Are you accepting interviews right now? She's been having difficulties finding a good company so I want to help her," Jun Yi explained.
"Oh... I see. I'm accepting interviews right now, so I'd be more than happy to have her. When will this be?" De Wei wasn't actually accepting interviews, but he could tell this girl was someone special to Jun Yi. There was no way he could've said no!
Jun Yi was satisfied. He replied, "I'll talk with her about it and get back to you. But thanks! Don't be afraid to deny her if she's no good though."
They chatted for a bit before hanging up. Jun Yi immediately called Ai Yu. "Hey, I got you a job interview for Shi Zheng." "W-What?" Chen Ai Yu choked on her words after hearing that. Shi Zheng was a company with many great lawyers and politicians in their city. For her, a newbie, to join such a big company so soon was pretty absurd. "I know we're friends, but I don't want you to use your position to get me jobs like this. It's unfair to others... I haven't done anything to earn this..." Chen Ai Yu said. She had a fair point.
"No problem. Repay me by going to dinner with me tonight. That way you'll owe me nothing, you would've earned this interview." Jun Yi already knew she was going to say this, so he had planned ahead of time and got a reservation and a few dresses picked out personally for her beforehand.
Ai Yu was a little stunned. He would do something nice for her, then ask for something in return. It wasn't like she was complaining or anything, what he asked for wasn't hard to do at all. "Erm.... alright then. Don't go to a fancy restaurant though, I don't have glamorous clothing, I'm not rich either so don't order too much please," she warned. "You're not treating me to dinner, silly, and who said you were going to wear clothes?" He coughed. "I mean, who said you were going to wear your own clothes? I'm sending a few outfits I picked for you later, pick the one you like the most. You can keep all of them."
"You're being too nice... I can't-" "Oh come on, just take it! Who cares about him being too nice, if he wants to, let the guy do it!" Chang Chang interrupted Ai Yu. She was listening from the side and couldn't stand it anymore. Ai yu was very much taken aback. "O-Okay... erm, what time will the dinner be?" "The outfits will come at 4.30 and the dinner will be at 6. Just message me if you need more time to prepare. I'll go to your house to fetch you," he said. After which, they hung up.
"EEEEE! AI YU!! When the dress comes, I'll help you pick out the dress. I'm so excited! Girl, you definitely need a good man like him in your life. It's about 4 now, the outfits should come soon!" Chang Chang exclaimed in elation, her dark brown eyes shimmering in the sunlight. She grabbed onto Ai Yu's arm and shook her. Ai Yu just smiled at her silly friend.
The next 15 minutes passed by painfully slowly for Chang Chang, but when it finally did, the doorbell rang and she sprang up from the sofa and ran towards the door. She retrieved the huge box of outfits and dragged Ai Yu into the bedroom to try the dresses on.
Ai Yu carefully pulled the red satin ribbon that was tied to the silver coloured box and took off the top of the box. She slowly took out the outfits, one by one. In total, there were 3 that Jun Yi had picked out. The very first one was a red, black and grey checkered dress which started at her chest and ended slightly before her knees. The dress had a applique ruffled black layer at the bottom of the dress. Jun Yi was very considerate. He packed shoes and accessories for each outfit.
Along with the checkered dress came a small red jewelry box, in it was a set of crystal earrings and a matching necklace. There were also a pair of black 5cm high heels, and... a strapless bra! . Ai Yu wasn't a big fan of heels though, so she quickly dismissed that outfit.
She slowly took out another one, her eyes scanning the elegant dress with it's accessories. It was an off-shoulder applique multi-coloured dress with a baby pink tie-on belt made of satin. The dress touched the ground and from were the belt was placed, flowers with a pink that matched the belt sprouted out. It was a dress that screamed fairy princess! She just had to tie her her into a bun, put on a tiara and grow a pair of wings.
The shoes for this dress were a pair of heels that weren't very high, so low they were almost flats. It's colour just about matched the colours of the dress. The jewelry along with this one were also crystals, the same material as before, with pink crystal flowers dangling at the end of the earring. The necklace matched the earrings.
The very last one was a scandalous red off-shoulder bell sleeve body-con dress. It reached slightly below her mid thigh. Even though it was a body-hugging dress, the material was soft and comfortable. With that came knee-high black boots that complimented the dress. The thing that completed the look was the jewelry. It was simple, a gold moon-shaped earring. The necklace, of course, matched the earrings.
