Tria and Crei, were both lost in their own imagination as the carriage nears the outer parts of town. It continued until they reached the foot of the mountain, located not too far from Tria's temple, she could see the tall building from where she was.
"From here, I'll personally take you up," said Crei as he wraps his arm around her waist bringing her close to him.
Tria smiled inside, as she sniffed in his masculine scent, then she looked up at him.
"Up?" she asked.
"Un, hold on to me tightly," lightly said Crei, as he made a huge leap into the air, bringing them at least 50 meters high. He then leaped from tree to tree, skipping leisurely as he was used to that.
However, Tria was not. She had always been scared of heights, not to the point of categorizing it as a phobia, she just never went up high often. She clenched her tiny hands around Crei's waist, and the feeling of Crei's muscles under the garment made her forget all about fear of heights. To the point where she didn't even realize that they had already landed on the ground.
"Wifey, I would love for us to stay like this, but I don't want you to get sick from the cold winds gusting at us at this height, so follow husband this way," said Crei, with a wide grin on his face.
Embarrassed, Tria let go of him, pouting shyly. They were at the top of the mountain; however, it wasn't a peak, it was a flat land with no trees. Instead, there were shining black rocks all over, big and small sizes piled up together, just illuminating the whole area with blue and purple lights. She followed Crei to where seems to be a tent already built, and next to it was a large lake with more at the bottom, except they were a lot bright, and shine as if the night sky filled with stars.
"It is so gorgeous up here," said Tria as she ran along the side of the lake, mesmerized by the shining lights, there were even phosphorescent fishes swimming around, she then looked up at Crei. He was standing beside the tent with a bota bag shaking it at her.
"Is that wine?" she asked.
"Yes, wifey would you like to try some?"
"Hmm, is it strong?"
"Not at all, haha, I would not want you to get drunk on our first outing, it's simply has the alcohol aftertaste, other than that it's no different from regular beverages."
"I'll have some then," she skipped towards him, and took the bag and took a sip of it.
"Aaahhh, that is really refreshing and sweet, what is in there?", she asked looking at the bag with eyes full of curiosity.
"I made it especially for you, I used some dried fruit and that maple sap you enjoy so much, and some light alcohol," he proudly stated.
"Made especially for me, thank you husband, but I must applaud you, wine is such a rarity in the Lands, that only royals would have it, and for my husband to know the craft, I'm a lucky girl," Tria teased him.
The glow on Crei's face shined more around his cheeks, he was blushing.
"Ahem, of course, come let's sit, and enjoy this view, you can even see the temple from here," he led her toward a large chaise he had prepared inside the tent.
The tent was very well decorated, the floor was covered with soft colorful clothes, the woven palm fronds chaise was at the center, surrounded by various fruits, sweet wine, and soft white cheese. The tent was facing the open view of the town, with the shiny lake right in front illuminating the whole tent.
Crei sat first, and Tria sat right next to him, with her head near his chest. He had covered their legs with a wool fur, keeping them warm. This image was extremely peaceful, and Tria was quite pleased with it. She has been on the go for too long, snuggled on this wool fur close the one who made her feel safe, was what she longed for.
Crei was watching her relaxed expression affectionately, he knew how much she had been working hard. He had many different things planned, however, this was his best choice to give his wifey a little peace of mind.
"How did you find this place?" asked Tri, snuggled close to his embrace.
"I made it, for you," he answered.
Tria was taken aback, and looked at the area again, 'he made all this?'
"How?"
"There are many things your husband can do, wifey, you just need to say the words and I'll get it done."
"You are getting more and more mysterious, this is no easy feat, and it only took you two days to achieve, I am really impressed."
Crei simply smiled, as he wrapped his arms around her and hugged her tighter.
"You smell so good wifey; how did you achieve such a feat?" he asked as he held on to her.
"Ah, haha, I simply bathed for a while and it happened, nothing too silly," she nervously answered, and laughed.
"Interesting, well I really like it," he said as he sniffed her hair.
The night became darker, but their site became brighter, sheltered from the winds, Tria and Crei snuggled and hugged as they happily converse with one another.
They had conversed till dawn, not about anything very significant, as they were mostly there to enjoy each other's company. However, as the day grew nearer, Tria had to get ready for her appearance at the temple, so wrapping up their date, it was time to go back. Crei did not have to do much, with a snap of fingers, the area which was filled with shiny rocks, and even the lake, disappeared.
Crei picked up Tria, and just like the night before, leaped up in the air and skipped over from tree to tree to the bottom of the mountain where their carriage was waiting.
Tria was no longer afraid, but she still held on tight to Crei, given the fact that they were a lot closer now. Thinking back to how fast Crei had transitioned the rocks back to normal, she wondered about Crei's power level.
"Husband, how powerful are you?"
"Hmm, I have been at a bottleneck in the low sovereign level for a while now, I will not be able to advance any further unless I visit where I am originally from, the energy there is a lot purer and denser, it would not take me long to break through."
"Is it far?"
"My home?"
"Hmm."
"It depends on how you look at it, we can get there in one second, however, it is millions of miles from here."
"Hmm, space travel?"
"My wifey is so intelligent, yes, we'd have to travel through space, setting up a portal is not easy, and I have no need to go there, therefore I haven't been looking in it, why? Would you like to visit husband's home?"
"Maybe," she said sticking her tongue out at him, laughing. However deep inside, she was just thinking of something else.
