Having been transferred the memories and experiences of the ancient priestesses, her whole persona had changed. She was more wise, mature, decisive, and she did not have cold feet when it came to killing those who deserved it.
Tria had killed those bandits back near Azul Town, and it indeed affected her but the experiences that were drilled into her mind, made it less traumatizing. At this moment, if the Eye involved any innocent people, she will not hesitate to end their lives.
Redirecting her attention to the people, she advised them to return home, since she had finished her ceremony.
Tria leaped off the balcony and landed on the ground in front of the Eye clansmen, Mexi followed her a little bit after.
Surprised at how easy Tria landed from the tall balcony, the Eye felt uneasy. The only way for someone to jump from such a height with ease is for them to be a cultivator.
"You! How are you able to cultivate, none of the previous priestesses have been able to cultivate! Brothers! She's a fake! Blasphemy, she shall be killed for wronging the name of the ancient priestesses!"
Tria was annoyed at their claims, they were starting to make no sense, coming up with all sort of gibberish to make themselves look righteous.
"You are really pushing it, are you running out of excuses to take my life? Twenty grown men against a little girl, you are quite shameless, go on then, make your move, "she said, waving two fingers at them to come ahead.
"Disrespectful! We don't need excuses to take your life, the Eye clan has been around for over centuries, a fake priestess will not have power over us. However, we can give you chance to join us. Priestesses have always been chosen from the impoverished, if you join us, you will be able to live a life similar to a royal. What do you say?" offered an older man with rotten gold teeth.
"Cheh! You just won't cease to surprise me? Now, you want me to join your lowly group of degenerate men? What is it going to be next?" answered Tria, she was utterly disgusted by their shameless behavior.
"I'll take that for a no, then you give us no choice," said the older man angrily, waving his hand at his clansmen.
Given the signal to attack, the twenty or so men plunged their weapons at Tria. As they made their way towards Tria, they were unaware of the group of people coming from behind them, who ended trapping them in a circle, that group was Tria's subordinates.
"You didn't honestly think that I would fight you all, did you?" said Tria as she slanted her head to the side looking at them.
She was still standing in the same spot as before. She had no intention of fighting these men, they will serve as practice for her people. The fight had already started and Mexi was there in case, it got out of hand. Tria had another opponent in waiting to take care of.
"I wonder how long you are going to continue watching, or are you waiting until I am at a disadvantage to land the killing blow?" asked Tria, directing her gaze towards the top of a tree.
Hidden in there was a handsome man wearing a red tunic, with long white-silver hair, sitting on top of a branch.
"You really are able to cultivate since you could sense my position so easily, I am impressed, besides I am only here by coincidence, not to fight you or whatnot," spoke out a deep magnetic voice.
"Is that so?" answered Tria, noticing his features, she knew he was from the Moon Land.
"Yes, I have no plan in getting into a fight with you, priestess."
"If not then, excuse me," Tria said as she was about to leave, but was stopped by someone's grab of her hand.
"Don't be so fast, although I was only passing by, I really couldn't help myself from being attracted to you, it's as if…something pulled me towards you like a magnet," whispered the man close to Tria's ears.
Tria pulled back from him, 'so powerful! I didn't even sense him get close,' she thought.
"Oh little rabbit, there is no need to be scared, I have no plans of hurting you," said the man as he sniffed the hand that held on to Tria.
Whoosh!
A breeze of air flew in between the two, bringing Crei to the scene.
"Wifey, is everything alright?" Crei rushed towards Tria to make sure she was alright, then confirming her well-being, he murderously looked towards the man in red.
The man in red was as powerful as Crei, and Crei would have not noticed his presence if he didn't move.
"This is your husband?" asked the man in red, stunned, the priestess was already married, and her husband was a sovereign, that was a first.
Sovereign levels were extremely rare, even in the Moon Land, besides himself, there were only three more. The man in red became even more interested in Tria.
"Yes, I am her husband, so beat it, before I beat you," threatened Crei.
"Oh ho, I like your confidence, but no one dares to tell this noble one what to do," answered the man in red, leisurely.
Tria had finally understood what attracted this man towards her, and she looked at Crei who was unaware of her situation, she felt sorry for not telling him sooner. She simply didn't think she would have come across such a situation this soon. She needed to get away from that man in red, she then looked back at the fight still going.
"Husband leave him. Let's go wrap up the fight so we can continue on our journey," she said hoping to get out of this.
"Getting rid of me so fast?" asked the man in red, noticing her intention.
The man in red was truly only passing by, he was traveling by air when he noticed the bright light and came closer for inspection. He had learned of a priestess awakening, and he was not interested in such affairs. However, he was surprised at how he reacted when he saw the priestess. He was drawn into her like a magnet, and something inside him yearned for her; it was inexplicable.
