Chapter 31 - Building a Temple (Part 1)

"Ha ha brother-in-law," Chukah said nervously, "Tria specifically wanted you to look after the twins, she even said that would be practice for the future," he finished as cold sweats ran down his back, actually Tria said no such thing, but he really knew of no other way to make Crei stay.

"She said that?" Crei stopped and looked out the sky as if imagining the 'said' future as he smiled. He had already forgotten all about going to find Tria, he didn't mind the twins anymore either.

Crei knew Tria wouldn't want him following her, it's just that he didn't even get to spend enough time with his wife and she left, now he already has to share her time together with other people. However, now that Chukah told him such a thing, he was on cloud nine thinking about their own little ones.

'Oh, what to do? I mean they are already married so eventually they'll have children, right? I hope Tria doesn't get mad.'

While Chukah was racking his brain about how to deal with Crei, Tria has already made it to the capital of the earth land. Since they have arrived in the Earth Land, she had noticed the way of living on this land.

Everything was done with respect to nature, they did not cut any trees, they simply co-existed. They would only harvest fruits and vegetables when they're about to use them, and they only stocked up when something is going out of season or when the other lands would buy them but that was within limits.

The capital city was located on a large plain, at its end was a dark mountain range, with mountains peaks surrounded by clouds. Looking towards the great open view, Tria had decided to build her first temple right in between those peaks.

The others were there as well, they were currently standing on an elevated plain that overlooked the city, so they were able to see everything, then she said: "Everyone, gather around, it's time to start the plan."

Before Tria had reached the capital, she had already gotten rid of their fellow disciple identity, and they had all separated as well, working out on tasks ordered by Tria.

Tria already had Mexi find information on the current state of the capital and the powers living here. It was not a problem to buy the land, however, to build the temple as fast and silently as possible, she needed to be in contact with the Prime Minister of Earth Land. It just so happens that the prime minister had sent posters out looking for doctors to heal his oldest son, who came back injured from an expedition.

Using a doctor identity, Tria had Mexi follow her to the prime minister's tree house. At the front of house were people guarding however they let them in as soon as they stated what their business was. Walking into what seems to be a receiving area, Tria noticed there were a few doctors in waiting, as well an older person walking towards her.

"Excuse me, Miss? Are you here as well to heal the young master?"

"Yes, I am."

The few doctors who heard she was there for the same purpose sneered at her, but she ignored them.

"Very well, please tell me your name, so far, we have been going by order as to who have come first, when it is your turn, I will let you know. If someone heals the young master before your turn, I would like to thank you in advance in behalf of the prime minister for journeying here."

"I understand, my name is Thea, how many doctors are ahead of me?"

"Miss Thea, there are four doctors ahead of you, please take a seat and I will have some servant serve you some maple sap tea." The old man was extremely polite, he did not show any disdain, nor did he look down upon Tria.

Tria and Mexi sat down, while the servants have already served the tea, it was extremely delicious, she's already had it in the past few days. However, this one tasted a lot better, as the maple tree they were collecting the sap from was not too far from the courtyard.

There was no one else left in the courtyard, other than Tria; all the previous doctors had left while shaking their head, indicating there was nothing that could be done.

When it was her turn to see the prime minister's son, a servant had come to accompany her, and she could already detect the pungent smell of blood from all the way out the front.

"We have arrived, I am not allowed continue, please it's that room ahead," pointed the servant as Tria walked on.

When she got into the room, she could not believe her eyes, there were two servants dabbing clothes on someone's chest laying on a leafed bed.

"Stop!" she didn't even look at who else was in the room, she dived straight for the bed, stopping the servants from moving further.

"What are you doing? Excuse me miss, this was instructed by the doctors," said an older man, "this is my son, are you one of the doctors from outside?"

"If you do not want your son to die faster, please stop dabbing those wet rags on his chest, and yes I am a doctor."

"You tell me to stop them, but it's been less painful for him when we d-

"It's not because it's less painful, it's because he is growing numb to the pain and he doesn't feel anything, what you are doing is draining the blood out of his body, not helping him"

Shocked at the sudden revelation, the prime minister threw those servants out.

"No, have them come back and clean around, if you want your son to get better, the air in here needs to be clean."

"Do you know what is wrong with my son? Do you know why he is not getting better?" asked the prime minister frantically.

"Please calm down, it will be fine, I will save your son."

Appeased, the prime minister found a clean corner in the room and just sat on the ground.

Tria did not mind him staying in the room, so she left him there. The servants cleaned the room and left Tria staring at the person on the bed.

There really were many beautiful people on this land, she thought. She proceeded on having Mexi help undress the upper half of the man's body, as it reveals the gruesome wound on his chest.

Originally it was just a slight cut, and only with some minimal aid was needed and time to heal. However, they kept dabbing the wound with wet clothes from salt water, making it swell and infecting it, which now complicates the healing process.

Walking back to where the prime minister sat down, Tria bent down in front of him.

"Your son, I can save him, however, I do not need your money."

Seeing a ray of hope, he hastily answered, "whatever you want, I'll give it to you."

"Good."
