Somewhere, in an island, faraway south, a pretty boy is sulking. He paced back and forth in front of the woman that just knocked him unconscious. She's currently sipping from a straw with her juice.
The guy even waved his hands around in exasperation while the woman just lazily moved her head sideways, unaffected by his rants.
"How is this possible? I even told them where she lives."
"I live there, too."
"But I told them the room number! It's 501!"
"Yeah. And I'm room 500."
"This is supposed to be a vacation for her."
"Yep, I'm supposed to be on a vacation, too. And now I'm stuck here with you."
"I really can't believe it. I told them it's a woman-" he stopped talking when he felt her dangerous gaze towards him.
"I mean, how can they make a stupid mistake like that." He continued to rant. The woman just shook her head.
"When can I leave? I'm not staying here with you."
"Who told you I wanted to stay here with you! I don't even know if you planned this all along. Did my parents contacted you? I'm not marrying you." The woman scoffed.
"Huh, I don't even want to breath the same air as you do. Why would I want to marry you?"
"Don't you know me? I'm the most suitable man for marriage. I'm handsome, I'm rich, I'm talented."
"Stop selling yourself, I won't buy you even if the world crumbles." She sipped on her juice again. When she gulped it all down, she started biting on the straw.
"Why are you doing that?"
"Habit."
"Stop it. It's grossing me out."
"I. Don't. Care. Get me out of here before I beat you again."
"You can't do that to me, my body is insured, you won't be able to pay it." The woman rolled her eyes, this guys loves himself too much.
"Just get me out of here will you! Any minute that I'm staying close to you, I lose confidence on the male species."
"I-I can't do that." he finally said.
"What do you mean you can't do it?"
"I can't do it." The woman stood up, her presence so domineering that he felt his knees buckle even when he's towering over her.
"Explain."
"The yacht will only come here next weekend." She heard the same thing from the elderly couple when she asked but hearing it from the guy made it even worse. It's just Sunday today!
"Don't you have any contact with them?" She tried to breath, containing her anger.
"Have you not tried it yet. There's a really poor reception in here. I would not even try."
"Do you have a gym in here?" She did not find one earlier but seeing that the guy has toned abs, it might be located somewhere she hasn't seen yet.
"Nah, why would I exercise, it'll hurt my body." No use talking to this idiot.
"Can I use your girlfriend's things for now?"
"You can use them, they're all brand new. But she's not my girlfriend. We're just friends, okay. Friends."
"Okay." Keep denying. It won't kill him anyway.
The woman left the guy still whining in the living room and changed into some sportswear. She's already on her way out when he called out to her.
"Hey." She just glared at him. Can I kill him now?
"Yeah."
"What's your name?"
"Maria."
"Are you sure?"
"Are you my mom?" he raised his hands when she walked towards him in annoyance.
"Okay. Okay, I believe you. I'm AK." He stretched his hands for a handshake.
'Tap'
"Okay," she just tapped her hand on his palmed and turned around. His eyebrows furrowed from shock.
"Wait, you don't know me?" She annoyingly turned around again.
"Why, do you know me?"
"No!"
"Well, me too! Get lost." She walked away from him again.
"Grandma!!!" he shrieked when the woman just walked out on him.
The old lady came shuffling to his rescue but finding nothing wrong with him, she just looked at him with questioning eyes.
"Young master?" Alon looked shaken.
"Am I not popular anymore?"
The elderly lady just scratched her head, unable to find the words to console her sulking master. She just patted his head until he relaxed.
Their unexpected guest arrived just after the sun set and they all ate an awkward dinner. Wherenever Alon tries to make a small talk, Airi just answers him with one-word replies and he just gave up, ultimately shutting up.
He did not dare try to annoy their guest anymore as she's been dragged here against her will adding to the fact that they don't know each other.
They just exchange brief greetings when they come upon each other. Waiting for the weekend seemed like forever for Alon but everyday is now getting exciting for Airi.
She found a good place to hike and she goes over at the place daily to train. She did not want to converse with her 'captor' as she may get irritated again and turn into a murderer.
She's still annoyed that she just got easily captured but there's nothing she can do about it now. She's just like any other human, she has her limits too.
Maybe because she's not training anymore. But why should she train, she doesn't need those skills anymore. She's long quitted the service.
She struggled for deep breaths as she reach the peak of the cliff. She bent her body down and held onto her knees as she took some more air.
She just suddenly felt two strong arms held onto her body and pull her away from the cliff. She broke loose of those arms and prepared to attack when the person bellowed to her.
"What were you doing?" Alon is panting trying to catch his breath from both worry and exhaustion.
Airi was not able to answer anymore as the ground where she's standing had shaken again, causing her to loose balance and fall off.
She tried to reach up but the distance is too big that she only caught air. Alon was quick enough to reach out and had luckily caught her her arm. Airi knotted her forehead.
"What are you doing?"
"Can't you see I'm trying to save you."
"Let go."
"You can't die here. I won't let you."
"I said let go."
"No!"
"Fine. Look down." The guy took a peek while still holding her arm.
About a foot from her dangling feet is a flat surface where she can mount and start climbing again. Alon hurriedly let got of her arm and let her climb up before he can speak again.
"It's still dangerous." Airi just sighed.
"I'm already used to it. That's my line-"
"Don't use that kind of excuse while you're staying here with me. It's my fault that you got dragged here but please don't add more guilt on me by trying to injure youself."
Airi rolled her eyes and walked away from him.
"I'm just trying to enjoy my vacation. How did you know I'll be here?"
"What do you think?" When she looked back at him, she noticed the scratches on his skin.
One foot is also missing a shoe and there were also scrapes on his legs. She sighed.
"What should we do about your insured body?"
