"What insured body? Let's go home." He grabbed her hand and after a little bit of positioning, successfully put her on a piggyback.
Airi started to break away in annoyance.
"What are you doing? Get me down."
"Ma'am, I'm not sure what kind of lifestyle you're used to having but as long as you're here with me, I will not worry myself by looking at your scratches and doing nothing." Oh great. Guy suddenly wanted to be nice.
Surely enough, he tended to her wounds when they arrived at his house. Only when he's satisfied with tending on her that he stood up and walked towards his room to cleanup.
It's already late when they arrived home. Alon had to put her down many times to take a rest and refused to let her walk. He's trying his best to act like a gentleman. But sometimes, a person's true colors are bound to show up no matter how hard you try to hide them.
A loud shriek could be heard coming from his room about an hour after he went inside his room. Airi shrugged her shoulders, already expecting the next episode.
She followed the elderly couple when they both rushed to the guy's room.
They found him fussing over his own wounds and thoroughly checking his face. Airi does not even want to facepalm anymore, this reaction is long overdue.
"Let me take care of him Ma'am, Sir." she offered and took the medicine box from the old lady before she could even react.
Sending the old couple to bed, she walked towards the guy diva and started tending to his wounds.
"Acting like a hero on one second then crying like a baby next time. Stop being pretentious."
"My work revolves around my face. This rakes in millions." He continued whining.
"If that's true then you wouldn't be here, hiding."
"I'm not hiding. I'm on a vacation."
"You kidnapped a woman."
"I did not kidnap you!"
"Well, you kidnapped the wrong woman."
"I'm just trying to give my friend a vacation. What is wrong with that?"
"I don't even want to talk to you anymore."
"Who said I want to tak to you? Ah! Ah! Stop it, it stings!" he complained when she just rubbed on his scratches.
He looked like a drenched puppy after she dressed his wounds.
"I'm hungry." Airi just pressed her lips together and stood up.
"Follow me."
"You won't poison me, would you?"
"I can just twist your neck, you know."
"Whay are you being harsh?"
"I'm being honest. Stand up, I'll cook you food." She gets irritated the more she speaks with him.
After a few minutes...
"What is that?"
"Noodles."
"Yeah. Instant noodles to be exact. Do you expect me to eat that?"
"That's the only thing I can cook. You can't wake the old couple, spare them of your dramas. If you don't eat that, then starve." She ruthlessly said.
"How did this mishap happen to me?" He started to scoop the noodles from the bowl.
Eyes growing wide, he spooned more until he slurped the bowl empty. Airi pushed a glass of water to him and after drinking, he let out a loud belch. So much for reputation.
"That's a really good food. I wonder why I only had it now. You really have a good taste. Would you like to have some extra income."
"I don't take job offers from you. And no, I don't need an extra income." Alon pouted.
"Now, let's stop being picky. You can be my assistant-" he did not get to finish his sentence anymore as Airi's foot is already inches away from his face when she tried for a kick.
"Go back to sleep."
"Why can't we even have a decent talk?" Airi looked at him like he just ate something bad.
"We're strangers, there's nothing to talk about."
"You're still my guest here." he insisted. Airi wiped the nonexistent sweat from her forehead and calmly replied.
"Alon Kailo Lee." Alon's eyes widened.
"So you knew me after all. Are you a fan? Are you trying to stalk me?"
Airi didn't even want to speak anymore so she just gestured at the numerous posters in the room with his name plastered on it.
Alon's reaction did not even change when he realized it.
"Oooh!"
"I'm not like you who has time to leisure around. I have a company to run and clients to cater to." And those clients are another headache like you.
"So wha-" this guy will never finish a conversation.
They can now hear the sound of engine arriving by the shore. Both of them stared at the nearby clock.
It's just four o'clock. Who could be arriving at this hour? There are sounds of boisterous laughter as the footsteps near the house.
"Does your crew arrive early and noisily like this?" Airi instantly asked Alon.
"They come here early but not this early." he looked confused as well but his expression suddenly became grim.
"I also don't recognize this voices." Airi suddenly went on alert.
She swiftly switched the light off in the kitchen making the whole house dim. She firmly held onto Alon's wrist as if telling him to cooperate.
Before she could even guide him out of the house, the silhouettes of the elderly couple rushed past them and towards the door.
Curiousity instantly filled them and they stealthily followed. The old couple stood side by side as they spoke with a bunch of odd-looking guys that are nearing the house.
Airi instantly counted them on her mind while still trying to listen to the conversation.
"How dare you come here!" the old man sounded angry. One of the guys in the group came forward, a lazy smile showing on her face.
"Grandpa, you can't treat me like this! I'm your granddaughter's husband." The couple spit on the sand.
"Stop saying nonsense! You seduced our granddaughter and ran away with her. When you found out that she can't support you, you dumped her. And now she's gone. You killed her." they just kept on smiling but the more he smiles, the uglier he looks.
"Oh there must have been some misunderstanding. I did not even know that she planned to give this place to me as part of her inheritance."
"Inheritance! We don't own this place. Get out now before the owner sees you, you filthy person."
"And don't show your face here ever again!" the old lady finally spoke.
"I just arrived, can't you be a little more accommodating?" he smirked then signaled for his gang to enter the house.
"And who told you to enter?" Alon's thundering voice is clearly heard on the shore.
Airi rolled her eyes when she realized that the guy is no longer standing beside her. Oh crap!
