"NO!" Harumi screamed while the man felt up en down her body. Her vision was blurry from all the tears but she didn't stop fighting. The man cursed while he tried to undo her clothes.
"Fuck it." He growled while he ripped open her kimono.
"LET GO OF ME!" Harumi yelled while trying to bite his hand. He man evaded her attack and slapped her hard in the face. Her whole body hurt from all the punches she received.
She was so scared she didn't even notice that other people came into the tent. At the moment the man tried to expose her breasts there was a weird sound. A second later the man lost all his strengt and fell on her, blood gushing everywhere. The limp body of the man was heavy and his blood streaming over her face. She could hardly breath. She tried to scream again but all the air was sucked out of her lungs. Then, someone pushed the man away. In a reflex Harumi grabbed her torn kimono that was now soaked in blood and tried to cover herself while rolling up into a ball. The only thing she saw was red. The strong iron smell penetrated her nose and covered her throat. She looked at the man that assaulted her. His lifeless body lay beside her while his head was a few feet away. She had never in her life seen a death body. She felt faint and sick. Het stomach and head started spinning in different directions. The little food she had came out. Her stomach hurt while the muscles tightened. She fell forwards and vomited on the futon. She didn't care. She could only cry.
When she felt two strong arms pulling her into a hug she completely lost it. She started yelling again and punching and kicking around her.
"NO! LET GO!" She screamed trough her tears. Immediately she felt the pressure of the arms gone.
"Nohime, calm down, it's me!" Nobunaga tried to get trough to her but his wife was in shock.
The battle took longer than he had expected and he was happy he had brought along more men. Not only had they planned a sneak attack, their numbers were far greater than he had expected. Not that that was a problem, he still had defeated them easily. Most of the enemy men had fought till the death, something that he admired. When they had finally won and was ready to celebrate the victory, he got word that a small platoon had infiltrated the camp he got angsty. His wife was there and almost everyone was fighting in the field. Closely followed by the highest ranking warlords he jumped on his horse and galloped to the camp. The camp was as bloody as the battle field. The few guards that stayed behind were all death, just as the enemy. Nobunaga wasn't convinced everything was okay. Someone still had to be alive and he didn't know if it was a fried or a foe.
"NO!" He heard the panicked voice of his wife. Her voice cut true the bone and it took Nobunaga a moment before he jumped into action. As fast as he could he ran to his tent only to find his enemy trying to defile his woman. Without any hesitation he grabbed his still bloody katana and killed the man in one sweep. The body of the lifeless man fell to the ground with a dull sound while his head rolled over the ground and came to a stop at the desk. Everything in the small tent was immediately covered in blood. His wife was buried under the large body of the man. Thanks to all the adrenaline he could easily pull the body aside.
Nohime immediately duck into a ball while she kept crying. Her kimono was ripped in the front, but by the looks of it, nothing catastrophic had happened. Toshiie and Hideyoshi had followed him inside. He turned to them to give him a moment alone with his wife. Her upper body was bare and he didn't want anybody but him to see it. His two most trusted warlords bowed and left the tent while Nohime vomited. He didn't blame her, this was probably the first time she went trough something like this. He slaked up to her and crouched down. He tried to take her in her arms to comfort her but as soon as he touched her she completely lost it again. Quickly he moved away. He didn't want to scare her wife any more than she already was.
"Nohime, calm down! It's me." He tried but his wife didn't heard him. He had no idea what to do so he just sat next to her while she kept crying.
Eventually Harumi's tiers dried up. she had closed her eyes, scared to open them. She didn't want to see what was before her eyes.
"Nohime, can you hear me?" A familiar voice came trough.
"Nobu?" She asked in a shaking voice, about to cry again.
"Yes, I'm here, you're fase." He said while he pulled her towards her. He closed his arms protectively around her while she sat on his lab and started to cry again.
"Let's get out of here, I don't want you to see this ugly site." He calmly whispered while stroking her hair. Carefully he picked her up and walked out of the tent. Nobunaga could barely contain his rage. Someone had tried to dirty his woman. Outside of the tent were a lot of people. He barked some orders around and told everyone to leave. He didn't want anyone to see how vulnerable his wife was at this moment. Everybody made themselves scares faster than lightning while he carried Nohime to the river that was next to the camp. Some soldiers were washing themselves but as soon as they saw their lord coming they left in a hurry. He carefully put her down on the bank of the river. Nohime was shaking from top to bottom.
"Lets get to blood off..." He eventually said, not sure what to do.
Harumi looked at the concerned face of Nobunaga. She was covered in blood and just wanted to get it off of her. Slowly she lowered herself in the cold river. She went completely under. After a few seconds he emerged from the water and tried to clean herself.
"The blood isn't coming off.." She said with a trembling voice, ready to cry again. Hideyoshie had been smart and had brought a new kimono and her soap while she was in the water.
"Here, with just water it won't come off." Nobunaga said while he walked up to her and handed her the soap. Although she wan't panicing anymore, her hands were still trembling. When she tried to take the soap she almost dropped it. Nobunaga caught it just in time before it would be lost in the river for ever. He wetted the soap and helped Harumi clean herself. Nobunaga himself was also covered in blood and dirt and was still wearing his heavy armor but he didn't notice. He first wanted to make sure Nohime was alright.
