There was a glint in her eyes as she went to the door, and Arius had the same weird feeling of a premonition, only this time the feeling seemed to represent a future burden. Arius stood up when she opened the door, and outside were two men, both seemed to be between ages 20 and 30.
"Arius! Dante! This is Tibet and Jeffrey, they make up two thirds of the entire staff at 24/7 sandwiches!" She smiled as she pointed to the two of them, and Jeffrey grinned back. Dante nodded while Arius was confused, 'what is 24/7 sandwiches'?
"Hello sir, can I assume you're the owner of this establishment?" Jeffrey stepped forward with his hand outstretched as Zuna walked out of the way. Immediately after speaking, Tibet's hand collided with the back of Jeffery's head.
"Just because the man is rich don't mean he talks all fancy."
Jeffrey rubbed the back of his head as he gazed at Tibet with the look of a wronged child. Arius wasn't surprised with the way Zuna's friends acted.
"Even if I did speak like that, you wouldn't have to copy me." Arius informed them politely.
"Rich dudes are nicer than I'd thought." Jeffrey then hit Tibet on the shoulder, and it was a rather strong hit as Arius saw Tibet stumble a little. Tibet wouldn't take it lying down though as he pushed Jeffrey, and watched as the latter fell over. Zuna didn't react at all except to let the dispute pass.
Seeing them fight, Arius now understood the burden the two would bring, yet it didn't seem to bother him as much as he believed it would. He was being naive though, 'cause as soon as the two decided on a truce, Jeffrey went to introduce himself to Asrael and the girls. The combination just didn't sit well with Arius.
"Howdy, the name's Jeffrey, but you can call me Jeff." He held out two hands, one towards Asrael, and the other towards the girls. Chrysanthemum had no qualms out shaking the man's hand, but Asrael completely ignored him. Jeffrey frowned a bit at that but kept talking anyway. "You gals are cuties, here's my card." And he proceeded to hand them a white card, with sans font.
"Hazuna!" Asrael exclaimed with the obvious tone of a complaint. "Keep your weirdo friends to yourself."
"Ha! Speak for yourself, your entire gang is full of weirdos, yet you don't see me complaining!" Zuna walked forward, and right behind her was Tibet and Arius. Dante sat on the couch, wanting to stay out of it.
"No worries! I'll stop heckling the pretty boy an' his friends!" Jeffrey sounded upbeat but regretful, he had no idea he was bothering Asrael.
"What did you just call me?" Indeed, Asrael was pretty, but he would rather die than be known as that.
"He called you a pretty boy, because you're such a delicate flower!" Zuna immediately fanned the flames.
Chrysanthemum was about to intervene when Asrael stood up with a cold gaze. Usually, Asrael wouldn't simply let it be so Dante was preparing for war.
"Alright, stop it now, Zuna." Arius calmly spoke as he put a hand on her shoulder. "It will do you no good."
Both Jeffrey and Tibet were a little rattled at the contact between Arius and Zuna, but they didn't say anything.
Zuna became quiet as she pouted, and Arius gave Asrael a forbidding look. Somehow, the battle Dante was awaiting never occurred, and Asrael sat back down, albeit reluctantly.
