Chapter 55 - If You've Come to Seduce Me

"Eirik Nitya, brother of Hazuna Nitya... They both moved in with Philip because they had run into debt, and Philip is s very generous and upright person." Arius smiled as he typed. "Philip, who already legally adopted the now Durante Johnson, found the boy's older brother, Asrael Nili, and out of the kindness of his heart, allowed him to move in as well."

Arius waited a moment for a reply, although Pierre was probably asleep. Then his phone rang, it was Pierre, so he picked up.

"Did you read my message?" Arius asked over the phone.

"Yes, and I'll have Pierre do it immediately." Janice was the one who called… using Pierre's phone in the middle of the night.

"It's so late… I didn't realize you two had that kind of relationship…"

"It's not like that! He just- he left his phone at the office!"

"You're still at work!?"

"No…"

"Jane, if Pierre tries to bully you, you need to tell me!"

Janice smiled on the other end, "Okay."

When he eventually ended the call, he realized he might have been a bit loud. Well, it didn't seem like it woke anyone up, so he wouldn't mind it.

That was until he heard a knock at his bedroom door. He paused for a moment before deciding not to turn the light on went he went to answer it.

As Arius opened the door he was absolutely dumbfounded. Zuna stood there, rubbing the sleep from her eyes, somehow completely forgetting all self awareness as she had come to his bedroom wearing only a large t-shirt and panties.

At the moment, Arius couldn't even find the power to smile in greeting, let alone tease her. He simply thought to himself, 'If you've come to seduce me, stop trying, you've already succeeded.'

Zuna kept her voice lowered. "You're too..." she Yawned. "...loud."

He nodded as his gaze drifted lower, and she didn't seem to notice this as she was practically half asleep. Arius started to feel a little uncomfortable in his northern regions, and as he was quite familiar with the feeling he quickly averted his eyes. "I'll try to be quiet." He whispered.

"Mm..." She bobbed her head sleepily and walked away.

He sighed as she walked away. How good was her hearing to have been able to hear him from the floor below? Not only that, but her room wasn't even directly under his.

Zuna paused when she was halfway to the stair case. "It's too far." She looked back at him and suddenly spoke, "Carry me."

Arius was mortified. 'Don't you realize what you're doing to me?'

He wouldn't really pick her up and bring her to her room, right? Wrong. He knew it would be torturous to his soul, considering his abnormal attraction to her, but he was more than willing to oblige. "Of course, M'lady."

Arius walked up and scooped her up into his arms, and although he had picked her up this way before, she was wearing pants back then. She had a hand on his chest, gribbing his shirt as he very smoothly made his way down the stairs. It didn't take long to get her to her bedroom, however, she had fallen asleep in his embrace.

He was quite agitated at that point, as he walked into her plain looking bedroom, that she must have been too lazy to decorate. She had a pile of items stacked in the corner.

Walking to the bed, he leaned down to place her there. Unfortunately for Arius's sanity, she wouldn't let go of his shirt, and it seemed as if he would have to pry her hands open.

This wasn't how he was supposed to spend his night. Though as he was trying to develop a plan to get out of the current situation, he started feeling quite sleepy himself. Her scent, it was just too comforting.

He grabbed hold of her hand and gently began removing her fingers that grasped his shirt. It didn't work, so he tried the next best thing. He took his shirt off.

He was finally able to stand up as he watched her subconsciously move into a more comfortable position while holding the shirt closer. 'Alright, you win.' He slowly leaned down so that his face hovered over her's, and then he briefly touched his lips to her forehead.

He stood up straight and left, quietly shutting

her door.
