Corey makes it back to his house with a smile on his face.
'Heh… mom and dad wouldn't be too happy if they knew I was going to be staying here…' In front of him is one of his father's buildings that he was never able to sell.
'However, if I wish to make a game studio… I'm going to need a space.'
He goes inside and turns on the lights. The lights turn on fairly quickly, and he takes out the Virtual reality suit. With the suit on, he looks somewhat different. It's almost as if he's donned his character, Thrasher's identity.
The suit has sensors all over it and has a small port in its sneakers for where he can connect to the game. In a few minutes, the game will start and quite nervously he looks around.
A few minutes ago, he ordered food, and was expecting it to be here on time. Luckily, he hears a knock on the door soon, and a man comes in with his food.
"Your food is here, sir! Please pay now before it gets cold!"
With little time to delay, Corey runs over with his suit still attached. "Yes… coming! Please tell me you got the right order!"
"Of course, we wouldn't give you the wrong order on opening day! I can tell by your suit that you're going to be a part of <
Corey takes the food and nods his head. "Yes, this suit feels really comfortable, and the equipment connects right into my old computer! I'm really excited about trying it out."
The man smiles at him and accepts the money from Corey. "Well, if you ever need someone for your studio here is my card… Just ask for me at Beacon's Restaurant, and I'll be over here…"
Corey takes this to heart and nods his head. "Yes, I will keep you in mind! Now get out of here and go play the game!"
The man smiles and looks down noticing that Corey gave him a huge tip. "Ah, I wish I could be starting in the game today like him." He dejectedly goes back on his delivery bike before he hesitates.
"Wait… how come I haven't seen that model suit he was wearing before?" He sighs wondering what it would be like if he was rich.
Corey, who is still standing by the door, jumps onto the docking station before the lights turn on in his goggles sucking him in. Immediately, at 9 am, the entire world is ready to play <
"Ding! Welcome to World's Glory… Would you like to keep the same profession."
Corey is soon presented with the new User Interface. He finds himself in a white room that reminds him of a box.
"Please just click on the button you so desire…"
Corey clicks on yes, and an image of himself appears on the screen.
"Selecting Dual Swordsman… Past account was named Thrasher. Keep same name?"
"Yes…"
"Would you like to add your old friends," The fairy like voice asks.
"No," Corey dejectedly replies thinking about his old friends. Many of them decided to not play the expansion. "However, please add Dream Knight, and Purple Monarch to the list… They will be the only two friends joining us buddy…"
The voice laughs and adds those two characters.
"Well, they have been added. Now, though, you must select the town you will be staying at. Which town would you like to join."
The map appears in front of him showing 25 different areas for him to play in. "Hmmm, I'll select my old territory… Blue Bay City…"
"Confirmed… Old items are being attached to account. Welcome Thrasher to the new <
Thrasher finds a smile on his face as he enters into the game.
He appears in the middle of a filling up street. He figured all the pros would enter this location and he is indeed correct.
In the old version of <
A voice he recognizes soon greets him.
"Welcome to the starting edition of the VRMMORPG World's Glory! I will be your host, GM Albatross! Please enjoy the game, and don't forget to level up!"
Corey smiles hearing their familiar voices. A second later though, a female voice enters his ears. "Thrasher… is that you?"
"Dream Knight?" He turns around looking at the girl behind him. He can't believe it's her.
"Dream Knight…. So you really look like your avatar…" Corey replies to her and she smiles at him.
"Yes… well, isn't that what you did too?"
Thrasher looks down realizing he forgot to adjust his appearance. In World's Glory, you could customize your original appearance up to 10%. However, he was in such a rush to start the game that this was fine.
"Heh… I guess, but would you want to party?"
Dream Knight smiles at him as her hair falls down her life like body. She looks pretty enough to be working as a model for a modeling agency. However, she is very addicted to games like Thrasher.
"Yes… I'm still going to be the best Battle Cleric in the game, and I'm still joining your horrible guild…"
Corey rolls his eyes before he accepts her request.
A moment later, he notices a bunch of men are surrounding him with familiar names. However, many of them are much uglier in this version.
"Heh… So, the Mighty Thrasher dared to enter my territory?" A man named Steel Lion looks at him angrily.
He's been waiting for Thrasher to show up with his guild members.
"Ah… yes, if it isn't my favorite road kill… You still wish to get fried Lion," Thrasher says as he pulls out his level one epic blades.
In the last game, he found some rare level one equipment of the epic tear. With the new game allowing user to keep their old equipment, he felt safe even under the scope of nearly 20 players.
"Ah… is that the epic Winter Dual Sword Set? If we kill you, we'll get them, right?"
Corey, not one for mincing words, immediately dashes forward towards the group of 20 men. Behind him, Dream Knight follows and immediately takes out a mace.
They begin fighting the twenty men quickly, and soon Corey's blade work is shown.
He had been trained by his father for a few years in combat. If he were to ever inherit his fathers company, he would need to be able to defend himself.
Steel Lion, who only knows that his weapon is of the epic tier, and not how to use it, find a sword in his gut.

"Steel Lion has been KO'd by Thrasher…"
A siren soon sounds in Blue Bay City, and all the men surrounding Thrasher gulp.
"They kept the Arachnids! Everybody run!"
Corey turns around noticing the level 20 Arachnid Supremes that are hopping towards him.
