20XX, October 19, Monday; Konner House, Library
It's Eli! He was just here a moment ago. First time in a while since he voluntarily entered my room. I didn't know who was knocking on my door last night when I was about to sleep and it was just Eli.
Well, he was here because of what happened the other day. My twelve-year-old brother was actually going to scold me because I let another guy enter my room but he told me he won't tell aunt so I still think he's a good brother.
About the other day, it started because of me still being busy with club activities. There was the regular meet up with practices for the incoming performance then, during club off days, I meet with Luke in the library after classes to look at the script. He was also consulting me with other club details even though I really have no experience. But at least I can help with my assistant manager experience before in a sports club.
So that's a meeting almost every day these past week with Luke. Then, last Saturday, there was a heavy rain before we were about to go home. It was just a drizzle when we got in the library after class so we don't have any umbrella.
There was also no one else in the library aside from the clerk and she also doesn't have an extra umbrella. I thought there will be forgotten umbrellas in the lost and found section of the library but no luck.
We tried to wait for it to stop but it just got worse. Luke was actually planning to run to his apartment or a nearby convinience store and bring an umbrella for me to use. But I said my house was closer so we could just both run there and he can borrow an umbrella from me.
Since we don't have any other better ideas, we decided to run for it to my house. And that was why Eli was in my room.
It was Saturday so Eli has soccer practice and aunt still drives and accompanies him there so nobody was actually in the house that time. Being a good person that I am, I suggested Luke to dry himself a little first before going out again. Or maybe wait a little in case the rain weakened.
I made stew for dinner and he was actually surprised I can cook. Then we talked while we ate. It was a good atmosphere for any love story... until Eli came in the front door.
It was so funny. All of us paused then Eli stared at the guy first, then at me, his expression asking me who it was. Being a good guy, Luke introduced himself and explained why he was here. But Eli was kinda rude. He ignored Luke's intro and told me that aunt was still talking to the neighbor for bringing inside her laundry because of the rain but she will come inside soon.
It's not like I'm doing anything wrong but I still sent Luke away and said that we'll meet again the next day. At least the rain was stopping at that time.
Too bad Eli didn't talk to me after I sent my guest out. He just talked to me a while ago, but, it was still two days after the event.
That's it. Sean signing out. :)
