Chapter 20 - Literally Raining Stars (1)

As soon as I raised my hand to the above, I attempted breakthrough into the Xiantian realm. My essence rumbled like a river as my Qi easily broke through with no bottleneck. Qi from the surroundings quickly entered through my shingles, before being purified as it entered my system. The liquid sea of Qi within my dantian reached a critical juncture when it was filled to the brim, before finally stopping. I felt a subtle click in my body like a trigger for Saint Qi.

A dreadful presence, more dreadful than the saint creature, descended upon the area. No clouds rolled in, but a loud roar ensued as the stomach shook, causing acid waves to form in the calm lake. It quickly calmed down for a few seconds before another roar appeared, following acid waves.

This process went on for a bit, but the intensity of the roars increased dramatically. The acid lake looked like the ocean waves in a hurricane as everything shook. Even I was having a rough time hanging on. A horrifying and dreadful divine sense swept through the area before locking on to me. It seems as though it has figure something out.

The stomach violently convulsed as an unknown force sent only us out towards the esophagus. Flying through at ludicrous speeds, we jettisoned out of the mouth of the creature. I immediately expelled the inhabitants of my stomach out, which were grouped together by the middle-aged man. Creating a thick devour shield, it protected them from the horrifying winds as the middle-aged man shot away from me.

At this point, I'm flying at near the speed of sound, as I quickly catapulted away. Looking behind, I saw the massive alligator's head, which was miles big, gloomily glancing at me with it's red eyes before retreating underwater. In the sky, massive super cell storms were circling the beast as heavenly lighting constantly descended, that seemed to have the power to annihilate anything. But seeing that the intruder is out of the area, the clouds stopped attacking and quickly dissipated.

Creating a huge splash into the water, I looked up to feel the dreadful presence again. The void seemed to be trembling and the skies seemed to be falling apart. The sun seemed to be afraid and was retreating, as it quickly descended below the horizon. The blue skies changed to orange to dark, and the bright, large moon quickly came into appearance.

The place descended into night, and stars could be seen clearly, but there was no clouds. Only the visible night skies were seen. But where did the heavenly clouds go? But the next scene was something I had never seen in a cultivation novel.

The stars seemed to be moving as they brightened up. They turned into long, white streaks that descended towards my area, and quickly growing. It was like the entire Immortal Realm suddenly moved at ludicrous speeds towards the sea of stars in the night skies. Millions of stars turned into meteors that were on fire as they descended. The sky lit up from the star light as they came crashing down.

These stars have similar sizes like on Earth, but in the Immortal Realm, they're like flakes. Some are hundreds of thousands of miles in diameter, while others are in the millions. Their sizes quickly turned me into an insignificant figure in front of them. The burning heat from them quickly evaporated the ocean waters as the air caught fire in the process.

Like raining stars of hell, they quickly approached my insignificant body size. I couldn't help but scream, "WHAT KIND OF TRIBULATION IS THIS?!"

Furiously pumping my Qi into my devour laws, and devouring nearby Qi, the first star collided with my body. I entered it's body which was scalding hot. But the impact pushed me out and catapulted me towards the water. I furiously retreated into the waters, with all my might.

I quickly approached the sea floor, before colliding, and heavily panting. What kind of nonsense was that man spouting?! This aint no tribulation! This is hell on Earth! Just as I thought I was safe, everything seemingly shook in the darkness.

Looking up, I realized how foolish hiding at the sea floor is. Each star is way larger than the ocean depth. The area quickly lit up a just a single massive star absorbed the sea water. The water seemed to be sucked towards that star, as air quickly filled around the ocean floor. Massive hurricane winds of air rushed into the empty space between the sea floor and the ocean, sending mud flying.

Gravity seemed to have reversed, as debris and mud began floating in the air. I watched as all the water for hundreds of thousands of miles was pulled into the star before being gulped up. The sea floor caught on fire as it turned into lava. I clung to the scalding lava and yelled as the star approached head on with me. I poured all my Qi into my exoskeleton.

The area turned into a bright light as I was engulfed. The entire star seemingly began to sink inside the surface like butter. However, it seemingly collapsed on itself before exploding like a supernova. Space collapsed and the thousands of miles of ocean around the star turned into tsunamis hundreds of miles high. The place lit up like a light bulb for millions of miles. Islands nearby turned to charcoal before being directly uprooted.

A violent explosion rang out again at the epicenter as molten magma escaped from the shattered crust. The pressure release seemed to be just as violent, sending the star gases out of the atmosphere, leaving behind a massive vacuum. Black soot and smoke replaced the area as magma violently flung out.

Within that sea of lava that stretched hundreds of thousands of miles, a black dome-like object slowly floated to the surface. All the heat and energy seemed to be sucked towards that figure. It's aura moving about wildly. On the black shingles were cracks everywhere that were repairing visibly.

This person is me.

The violent explosion sent me hundreds of miles into the mantle of the Immortal Realm. The impact caused cracks on my exoskeleton and internal injuries to my body. I thought I was dead until I realized that I was still devouring. I don't even know how if it's possible because I'm sure even the saint creature would be severally injured. I couldn't help but cheer on the floating magma surface that is making waves like tsunamis. As I looked up, I couldn't help but freeze.

That was only the first star, yet millions of other stars are still approaching. I guess the closest ones collide first in order. I do not know how I will survive this, nor do I know if the Immortal Realm can either. Utilizing the time, I quickly began to devour all the Qi and energy from the surroundings at full capacity.
