"we have arrived princess," Mo-chou said as she was standing in front of the greenhouse
"I told you not to call me princess when we're not in the palace," Li-lian said as she was walking towards mo-chou.
"let's go into the store," Li-lian said as she was holding Yang yang's pulling him into the shop
"What can I help you nice youngsters with?" The shopkeeper said as he was eyeing li-lian and mo-chou and ignoring Yang yang
*Yang yang gets in front of li-lian and told his guard Zeng-qing to guard mo-chou*
"What we want is the blueprints to this shop and the whereabouts where the other greenhouse shops are at," yang yang said while giving the shopkeeper the coldest glare he could give anybody
"Umm young man what makes you-you think that I am just going to give you the blueprints to my shop and any other information you want?" The shopkeeper said while trying not to be persuaded by the energy that yang yang was giving off
"Are you defying the king then?" yang yang said while he was reaching into his robe
"What do you mean young man! How dare you say that to me? Weren't you taught manners when you were little to not disrespect people older than you?," The shopkeeper said while stepping back a little because of yang yang actions
"But I'm here on the emperor's order to get the blueprints from all the greenhouses in the capital," Yang-yang said while holding the token in front of the shopkeepers face
"I am so sorry, please forgive my incompetence, your majesty!!" The Shopkeeper said while getting on the floor and kowtowing
"The Emperor will forgive you if you just give us the information we asked for earlier" yang yang said while putting back the token in his robe
"Yes, I will give you all the information you desire," The shopkeeper said while running to the back to get them what they desire
"Where did you get my fathers token? Did he give you it?" Li-lian said while walking backward in front of yang yang
While smiling Yang yang said that it's a secret, while yang yang was talking he stopped and told li-lian that they have arrived
"Hello, How may I help you, youngsters?" The Shopkeeper said while watering the flowers and getting ready to welcome customers
"We would like the blueprints of the greenhouse if you would be so kind and give us the blueprints," Li-lian said while looking at the shopkeeper in the eye
The shopkeeper said no problem like a robot like she was possessed, Mo-chou and Yang yang looked at each other and then at li-lian
"What?!? If we just ask them and they refuse then we'll just be here all day. We need to go home at some point, " Li-lian said while looking back and forth at yang yang and Mo-chou.
"It would leave a much better impression on the people if you were to do it this way instead of making them do it" Yang-yang said while looking at the shopkeeper whose head is still bleeding from kowtowing. With a wave of the hand Yang-yang dismissed the shopkeeper.
"I don't think they have what you were looking for, princess, I suggest we go somewhere else to find the blueprint." Yang-yang said while holding out his left arm for Li-lian to grab onto.
"Indeed. Let's try a few more stores." Li-lian said as she interlocked her arm with Yang-yang's.
They exited the shop with Mo-chou and Zeng-qing following behind them. Li-lian chatted with Yang-yang until they reached another book store. People were lined up outside the store just to get in.
Mo-chou was going to tell the shopkeeper who they were until Li-lian stopped her and said they can wait in the line if they have to, they shouldn't attract too much unwanted attention. After a while, the line started to wind down, before they knew it Li-lian and the others were already at the front entrance of the book store.
"It's almost our time, young miss! I hope they have what we came for." Mo-chou said with an innocent smile.
"Me too, Mo-chou, I would like to get started on the greenhouse right away if possible." Li-lian said as she walked into the store while the door was being held open for customers by a little boy no less than ten.
"Is this your job, little boy?" Li-lian asked as she bent to the ten year olds level.
"Yes, ma'am. I open the door for the bookstore on the week-days and work at the butchershop opening doors on the weekends. I need to be able to feed my brothers." the little boy said as he ran to open the doors for another few more customers.
"Hmm, that seems pretty tiring to do all day?" Li-lian said as she smiled and walked towards the kid to give him a gold coin for holding the door.
"It's nothing compared to the other jobs I used to work before the bookstore opened up." The little boy said while smiling and making sure no one reaches the door without him opening it up.
Li-lian thought the little boy was peculiar to have that certain way to look at his situation. She was impressed and started to wander off into her thoughts, before she reached the book section where random old books are gathered to free the shelves closets to the register to have more up to date books be put out. Li-lian picked up a book, it was about food etiquette in the forest country. She looked around more until she found a few books on having and the upkeep of the greenhouse. Li-lian situated the books into her arm and turned left into a hallway containing even more books, just then Li-lian spotted blueprints stacked in the middle of the shelf on the highest shelf. Li-lian tried to reach the stack of blueprints by herself. She turned around when she felt wind blow past her face, a piece of her hair blew past her face tickling her nose. She closed her eyes. She was face to face with Yang-yang lips. They were rosy pink. She thought his lips looked soft. Li-lian looked up to face Yang-yang's amber eyes. Her cheeks flushed a bright red, she swung around after hearing Yang-yang chuckle to himself.
Yang-yang grabbed a couple of blueprints for Li-lian to look through while he brought the rest down. Li-lian was flipping through the blueprints on the desk next to where she found the blueprints. Her eyes lit up when she was looking at a design of a greenhouse, the last three weren't up to her standards and the rest were for houses, shops and pharmacy shops. She sighed a sigh of relief. She looked up to find Yang-Yang and the others, she couldn't see them from her seat, so she got up to look around a few of the bookcases. She didn't find Mo-chou or Zeng-qing. Li-lian turned around another corner only to bump into Yang-yang. She thought there must be a magnet spell or something that was making her always bump into him, or always finding him instead of Mo-chou.
"Do you like staying in my arms, princess? I don't mind but we're in public." Yang-yang said as he steadied Li-lian on her feet with his arm wrapped around her waist and his other hand holding her cheek, ever so lightly stroking her rosy, soft cheek.
"You would like that wouldn't you? But that is not the case, you're just simply always in my way." Li-lian said as she touched the part of her cheek where Yang-yang had been stroking her cheek.
"I found the blueprint that I was searching for, we can head back home now. Where's Mo-chou and Zeng-qing? I haven't been able to find them for some time." she said as she motioned for them to start going back to the desk to grab her blueprint.
Yang-yang followed in pursuit of Li-lian with a smile on his face, giggling to himself quietly. He waited for Li-lian to finish her questioning before he answered them one by one.
"I sent them both to have some fun in the different shops around here, they wanted to look at this one bakery that sells some type of special spiritual infused pastries." Yang-yang said while picking up the blueprint, still keeping eye contact with Li-lian as he answered her questions.
"That's fine. I've been meaning to give Mo-chou some free time, she needs to take a break from everything and just enjoy life while she's at it. So thank you" Li-lian said with the straightest face still locking eyes with Yang-yang.
For a second, it felt like time stopped between the two as they walked to the bookstore cashier and paid for the blueprints. Leaving the bookstore side by side.
