I lay in my bed, staring up at the ceiling. Three more days till school starts. I wonder who I will get as roommates. I think to myself. I sit up as I hear a knock on my door. I then get up and walk over to the door, opening it. Before it was even half way opened I hear someone speak
"Um, Hi." A female voice says, before I can see them. I open the door the rest of the way and see a young lady. She was about five foot ten, blonde hair, green eyes, fair skin. She wore a blue training robe signifying she was a water mage.
"Hi, What do you want?" I ask, confused. Maybe she is one of my roommates. I think to myself.
"Uh, I am your roommate it seems." She said, shyly. I move aside to let her in watching the way she walked. She doesn't have much confidence. I think to myself, sitting down on my bed.
"What is your name? Mine is Wolf." I ask, trying to start a conversation. I turn and watch as she nabs the bed right across from me.
"Oh, uh my name is Nina." she said, taking her stuff out from her bag and putting it away. She then sits on her bed turning towards me.
"Welcome to room six Nina." I say, watching her stare at me. Why is she staring at me?
"Why is your robe red?" She asks, confused. Is she stupid or what?
"My robe is red because I am a fire mage." I explain, rolling my eyes. I roll over on my side and look at the door, stomach growling.
"Oh." I hear her whisper.
"Want to go get some food? The cafeteria is really close." I ask, getting up. I watch as her face brightens and she stands up.
"Sure!" she says, happily. I go walk out of the room towards the cafeteria, Nina following me.
"Wow, that's a lot of tables." Nina mutters. I turn around to face her, grinning.
"Yeah, this is the number one mage school in the world, they are gonna have a lot of students here." I laugh. She is definitely stupid. This is the number one school so it has a responsibility to teach hundreds of students. I walk towards the counter and see Adenine cooking something again.
"I will have the usual Adenine! Whatever you are making." I say, smiling. She turns around and grins at me, filling up a plate and hands it to me.
"No problem Wolf. You eat whatever I'm making every time." She laughs, then looks at Nina. "Well who do we have here? You brought a friend? What would you like?" She asks, smiling at Nina.
"Uh, I guess I will have what Wolf is having." She says, shyly. Adenine goes and fills up a plate, handing it to Nina she smiles again.
"Come back anytime, darling." she says, turning back to make something else.
I walk over to the nearest table and start digging in. Nina sits across from me and starts eating.
"Oh wow, this tastes awesome!" She exclaims, the loudest I've heard her speak since meeting her.
"Yes, everything Adenine makes tastes amazing. She has never let me down." I say, eating the steak.
"She seems really nice." Nina whispers. I look at her.
"Of course she's nice." I laugh, wiping my mouth off. I then get up and walk to the counter, setting the plate down.
"That was really good Adenine." I say, tapping my stomach. "That hit the spot." She comes over and picks up my plate.
"I'm glad you like it." She laughs, putting the plate in a sink full of dishes. She then goes back to cooking so I go back to the table, just as Nina finishes eating.
"Where do I put the plate?" She asks, looking around. I laugh, and beckon her to follow me. She follows slowly.
"Give your plate to her." I told her. She sets the plate on the counter and pushes it towards Adenine.
"That was really good food Mrs. Adenine." she says. Adenine comes over and picks up the plate.
"Thank you young Nina." She says, smiling and then goes back to cooking. I'm beginning to think all she ever does is cook. I turn and head towards the doors Nina following me back to our room.
