Dye bought an earring from the system store using the gold coins earned from beating Lin Mao. Well, it was a mission after all.
[Quest : Unfilial Son.]
[Find Lin Mao and teach him a lesson.]
[P.S. He might be something that you're looking for.]
[Reward : 10 Exp ; 10 Silver Coins.]
The exchange ratio was 100 Copper Coins for 1 Silver Coin, and 100 Silver Coins for 1 Gold Coin. There were also Copper Note, Silver Note, and Gold Note. Each had at least a million coins of the same tier.
And with 10 Silver Coins, she was able to buy a Blue tier earring called [Flower's Dance].
Right now, they were at the enterance of Lychon valley, waiting for Ynoir to show up. Lin Mao, being the rather impatient Swordsman he was, started stomping his feet after a few minutes, clearly irritated. Dye, on the other hand, started sighing and shook her head.
Suddenly, Dye felt someone appear behind her, breathing air onto her neck. Dye shuddered before turning around and met the ruby red eyes of the devil.
"You creepy old man!" Dye shouted, jumping from her position, "you're a pervert, a real pervert."
"I'm not...," Ynoir helplessly tried to protect himself, especially when Lin Mao eyed him.
"Is he really an old man? He looked really handsome," Lin Mao asked Dye, who huffed in return.
"He said he's the Elven Ancestor, so he must be old," Dye explained, "not only is he old, he looks really young and is a creep as well." Honestly, Dye had nothing serious against Ynoir. She only acted like this because of how he treated her before. Poor Ynoir, never knowing what Dye thought of him.
"I give up," Ynoir sighed, "So, we're clearing Loud Love Birds out of Lychon valley, what about the other monsters?"
"You can kill them or spare them old man, up to you,"Dye said, "but it will all go to the team's budget." Well, it certainly would. Level 2 was the lowest level in the forest, so it would be hard for Ynoir to kill a monster by himself. In the end, they had to split the money fairly.
"Alright, fine by me," Ynoir said, his face still painfully stoic as he vanished. Dye could still feel his presence around her as she smiled.
Meanwhile, Lin Mao, who wasn't the brightest person in the group, was a surprised when Ynoir disappeared, "Dye! He just disappeared. Did he just leave us?" Lin Mao started to search for the 'missing' Ynoir, looking really funny while doing so.
"He just used the skill Vanish, Lin Mao, he's a Creeper," Dye assured the handsome Swordsman.
"If you say so...," Lin Mao calmed down, still a little confused but better than before.
The three of them, in this case, Lin Mao would say two, walked into the forest quietly. Lin Mao's footsteps were a little bit louder than Dye and Ynoir's combined, but at the least he made some effort. Dye valued effort more than perfection after all.
They finally found a group of Loud Love Birds after around half an hour. This group had 5 members. There was one Loud Love Bird with a bright red crown on top of his head. It was probably the alpha of the group.
"So what's the plan, Dye?" Lin Mao spoke as if Ynoir wasn't even there, which made the elven male a little annoyed.
"Yes Dye, what's the plan?" He appeared beside Dye, silently glaring at Lin Mao, who silently glared in return. Dye could honestly feel the tension between the two. It was as if sparks were everywhere, trying to electrolute people.
"I can't think due to some disturbances...," Dye muttered sarcastically, emphasizing the word 'disturbances'. The two males stopped glaring at each other, but they swore to themselves that it would only be temporary.
Dye sighed as she looked at the alpha Loud Love Bird in the group. It stood proud and tall, as it looked over the other Loud Love Birds.
'Why do I feel that it's going to be really troublesome from now on?' Dye thought as she stared at the Loud Love Bird group, 'well, that's for later. Right now, I have to stop these two from their...childish...rivalry. What are they even fighting about, really?'
