Faruth was astonished, though to describe his state of mind that still might be a bit of an understatement. His personal strength had pretty much doubled from when he was just a Gnoll, he felt as if he could take on a Hobgoblin with ease now. But even though he knew that his strength had wildly increased, he didn't become arrogant, or at least, he tried not to be.
He knew how much complacency affected him, he didn't want to be his own downfall, like he had before. Though it may only seem like a minor change, his first battle with an enemy leagues above him had caused his mind to change. He was beginning to leave behind his life behind as a human on a modern Earth, the bloodthirst that came with his more animalistic and primal side began to take control.
He couldn't wait to try out his newly gained skills, but he knew it was best to try them out in a real battle to test their true effectiveness. Sadly, there was no battle that he was aware of in the foreseeable future.

After checking further the intricacies of the 'Menu', he planned his next major decision. He decided to begin work on constructing buildings within his village, otherwise it would be nothing but an empty shell with a few Gnolls living inside of it.
Leaving Wulfarth to go and do his own thing for the time being, he made his way back into the main room of the cave where all of the new members of his village were conversing with one another. As he stepped through the doorway, the whole room went silent.
Faruth swore that he could see beads of sweat dripping down their faces, if they weren't covered in fur that is. The only one that managed to remain mostly calm was the Monk esque fighter, Alneth, but even he was shivering slightly.
Faruth wore a confused expression on his face, he had only just walked in and the room suddenly fell silent. Alneth seemed to notice this change on Faruth's face and walked towards him with a comparatively awkward face of his own.
["Lord... You seem to be confused.] {Alneth}
["Yes, I am. How come the room went silent as soon as I entered? You were all talking so loudly to each other earlier"] {Faruth}
Faruth replied in a surprisingly aggressive tone and as a result, he could see several Gnolls at the back shiver even more. Even Alneth was no exception to this fear, although he still managed to push out a response.
["Lord, It... It appears that they are all afraid of you"] {Alneth}
["Afraid? They didn't seem to be so afraid earlier!?"] {Faruth}
Again, a tone he didn't expect escaped his mouth. However, this time he was only met with the absolute silence of the group behind him. This silence was only broken by both of the Gnoll children, a boy and a girl, bursting into tears. As they were comforted and quickly silenced by who Faruth could only assume were their parents, he felt a definite headache coming his way.
Alneth reacted to Faruth's annoyance by continuing on.
["Lord, they didn't dare to be disrespectful when they first met you, first impressions are important, no? Please forgive me but, It seems... It seems like your not used to controlling your power, you must have only just evolved into a higher rank recently."] {Alneth}
["That is indeed correct, I have only just evolved recently. And this 'Power Control' that you speak of, how is it done?"] {Faruth}
To this, Alneth immediately dropped to one knee, a similar posture to when they had first met.
[Lord, Please forgive my disrespect. I don't dare to instruct someone as great as yourself."] {Alneth}
Here is the headache that he was sensing. Thinking this, Faruth placed his hand on the shoulder of the his kneeling subordinate before continuing to speak himself.
["There is no need to apologise, I am asking for your guidance. Rather, I would be offended if you refused to instruct me."] {Faruth}
Hearing this, the Gnoll looked up into the face of his lord standing above him with a much fainter look of fear about him, replacing this fear was a look of happiness and relief instead.
["Lord, if you think so highly of me then I shall abide by your wishes"] {Alneth}
Completely forgetting the situation of the Gnolls behind Alneth that were currently only beginning to calm down, he became engrossed in listening to the teachings of this Gnoll in front of him.
Though he managed to zone back in before he forgot his purpose in coming here, finishing only the first part in the basics required. As he learned from the Gnoll, he found that the easiest way to control his aura was through the same methods that the Gnoll himself used, the [Buddhism] skill.
Even though it was named Buddhism, it was vastly different to the Buddhism that Faruth knew of in his past life, adopting a much more violent approach than its earthen counterpart.
Just as Alneth finished talking, Faruth promptly thanked him for his guidance before asking the most pressing question that was on his mind at that time. He asked Alneth to find the carpenters that he rescued in the first batch of captured Gnolls, for a reason only he himself knew.
