Alneth seemed to be confused at first until a knowing grin slowly emerged as he nodded towards Faruth. He then walked towards the group huddled together in the background, before calling out the names of the two that Faruth had selected.
["Keil, Auram, come with me, the lord wishes to speak with you."] {Alneth}
At this, the two trembled harder than they had before this. Just the thought of facing that pressure up close was becoming too much for the Gnolls to bear, their fur visibly clumping together from the dense beads of sweat dripping down their faces.
Even so, they knew that from their previous tribe, showing disrespect to the chief would cause them to face a punishment even fiercer, so they 'hurried' on, though in their fear their hurrying was just a slight shuffle.
Soon the two stood in front of the Kobold that completely overshadowed them in height, like the difference between an adult and a child. Faruth lowered his head to look at the two of them which inadvertently caused them to tremble even more as they caught a glimpse of the scar stretching from both extremities of his head.
Though Faruth was completely unaware of these happenings in the minds of the two cowering Gnolls. Instead, as he almost always does when he is introduced to a new face, he used [Appraisal] on the two, it was becoming quite a habit.

As far as Faruth was aware, these were fairly normal Stats for a Gnoll in Auram's case, especially for one that was both level 3 and didn't focus on a combat type class. However, the slightly low Stats for a level 7 in Klein's case could only be attributed to the decline in physical abilities after he had reached a certain age which was a sad inevitability. However, to make up for this, he had a higher level in the [Carpentry] skill, along with an entirely new skill that Auram didn't seem to have, [Masonry].
Snapping away from the information menu, Faruth looked once again to the shaking Gnolls below him, before opening his mouth to speak.
["Klein, Auram, it is very nice to meet you, the only carpenters within this group of new arrivals."] {Faruth}
["Y-yes... It is an.. an honour to m-meet the chieftain like this."] {Klein}
Klein spoke in a soft voice to reply. Although shaken, his age allowed him to compose himself somewhat, much better than Auram who could do nothing but tremble and hang his head towards the ground.
Noticing their plight, Faruth tried to speak in a more amicable tone to continue the conversation with the shaken duo. But as he found before, his vicious aura only made
the voice sound more maniacal and threatening.
["I apologize for any inconvenience, I can't yet control this aura you see..."] {Faruth}
["There is n-no need to ap-apologize cheiftain, it... it is our fault."] {Klein}
Feeling that his attempt to comfort the Gnolls ending in failure, he simply pretended to ignore the mood and moved on to his main reason for calling them over.
["I have a task that I would like to assign to the two of you, do you believe that you would be able to complete it?"] {Faruth}
["Of-Of course cheiftain... I be-beg your forgiveness... But.. But what is th-this task that you would like this o-one to complete?"] {Klein}
["Ah, straight to the point. You see, I am the cheiftain of this village, but there is no village for me to be a cheiftain of, it is completely barren! As carpenters, I think you know what I am going to ask you to do..."] {Faruth}
To this, Klein's face lit up slightly, whereas the semi-unconscious Auram's simply stayed exactly as it was before. With a slightly happier tone than before, Klein responded to the cheiftain.
["I see... I see... Apologies for my rudeness, but, we will require things before we are able to build whatever you desire, cheiftain."] {Klein}
["Oh, and these things are?"] {Faruth}
["First, we will need manpower... I am old, too old to act the same way I did when I was Auram's age. Even if I was still young and spry however, we are only two Gnolls, it simply isn't enough!"] {Klein}
["Manpower, that can be easily arranged... What else?"] {Faruth}
Of course manpower could be easily arranged, they had the monstrously strong Kobold at their side, along with the new surge of recent villagers, including the physically outrageous Alneth amongst them.
["Second, we will need plans, schematics if you will... You would just be able to leave it to the two of us and after a while, we would be able to put our knowledge together and come up with some basic schematics. However... It would be more efficient if you gave us the schematics yourself, if at all possible cheiftain, I mean no offence of course."] {Klein}
["Schematics eh... I will see what I can do."] {Faruth}
Schematics didn't seem to be a problem, after all, he still had the [Buildings] tab within the menu, he might be able to do something with that.
["Finally, and most importantly, we will need materials. Things such as stone, wood and metal for example, of course, along with things like rope and such too. These can be supplied throughout the process or in a lump sum at the start, but they are vital to building anything at all. Of course, there is a seemingly large range of hills around filled with stone, such as this one and we are within a forest. Gathering these two should be fairly simple..."] {Klein}
["And what about the other things you have mentioned, where would I acquire them?"] {Faruth}
To this, Klein let out a sigh, before speaking in a slightly dejected voice.
["I am not sure if you are aware cheiftain, but metal comes in various forms with different strengths and weaknesses, so it is incredibly useful... However, it is also extremely rare, few own any basic metals like copper or tin, and even then, you would need a smith to work with them, which are even rarer! On a lighter note... Things such as rope can simply be made by those skilful out of things that you would find around, making them fairly common objects to work with."] {Klein}
After listening to Klein's in depth explanation, Faruth new what he had to go towards next, Manpower, Schematics and Materials.
